I am the one who played myself even choosing to go here because the reviews told me not to but I judged the book by its cover and still decided to come here because it's more aesthetically appealing on the outside than some of the other urgent care facilities in the area. This was by far the worst experience I've had at an Urgent Care facility and quite possibly at a medical facility. The positive was that the check in process was smooth thanks to their technology. And that's the extent of the positive. The waiting area while large and open was riddled with tattered paper signs, business cards for realtors and all other types of unrelated paraphernalia. The rooms where you are seen were hands down dirty and you can see that in some of my pictures. The doctor was not professional and the best example I have is him literally POKING an area that I was in to have examined with his BARE FINGER without any warning, which in turn made me SWAT his finger away from me and scream OUCH because it hurt and also because he did NOT have on medical examination gloves! There's so much more I could share but the bottom line is if you're looking for professional medical care in a clean environment then this is NOT the place you should visit. read more

Very poor communication. I paid $120 for my visit, then got an unexpected $302.50 lab bill that no one warned me about. Customer service was frustrating--they kept transferring my calls or leaving me on hold. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're uninsured. read more

Im currently still here at the urgent care levelup Md in Bloomfield and the xray technician was very rude I believe his name is Kenny he was rude getting smart slamming the door being loud and obnoxious. this is not how you conduct and place of business. the receptionist in the back was also rude agreeing with him and defending him I felt as if they are all in the same boat when it come to treat patient. No one wants to have to go to an urgent care facility but if you must, this location was a decent choice. The facility is clean, wait times are short even when I came in during a flurry of patients arriving at the same time. There is a check in kiosk where you will provide insurance, driver license, and visit details. The nursing staff "welcomed us" to LevelUp, introduced herself, and took necessary vitals. The RN on site Vanessa was nice as well. Medically it was not a pleasant visit but we felt attended too and heard. They were good with following up the next day, sending medication to designated pharmacy and promptly providing doctors notes forms via email. My only gripe would be the front desk staff asking "how can I help you?" a medical emergency duh! The open ended question prompted some patients to provide too much information in a public setting where other patients are waiting. They would be better off greeting and directly patients to the kiosk to detail medical issues. Overall I had a good experience here. read more

Compared to other urgent care facilities this one is well maintained and well run. The auto check in was fairly easy but the manager was there to answer any questions and help in any way. The assistant and the NP were very thorough and courteous. read more

I came in today for an IV treatment and Nurse Lovia helped me with excellent service. She was knowledgeable and answered all my questions with kindness and understanding. I could tell that she was very busy, but I never felt like a burden and she made me feel like a VIP. (Honestly this human should train all the nurses in the US on bedside manner and kindness.) Extremely disappointed for how they've chosen to communicate their changes with pediatric COVID Vaccinations. They no longer do them and when I requested records they were less than accommodating because they also now don't send authorization forms. They should email updates to their medical changes so parents of children especially aren't caught off guard after making and appointment putting parents in a position to not get children the vaccinations they need in a timely man are and with no regards to the likelihood the parents had to take off work for the appointment. I'd recommend going somewhere else or calling to ask what services they've removed before making an appointment through their booking process that still has not been updated. read more

I'm really impressed... and I am not easy to impress-- let's just say Level-up Urgent Care qualifies for my difficult to come by highly rated commendation. First off, they called me back PERSONALLY on my cell phone fairly quickly. Their bedside manner is impeccable and I'm from a medical family (hubby, father, sister) so I tend to be more critical. Then, Stephanie, the receptionist-- can I just say she is truly a caring warm and kind person who steps up and really goes out of her way for you?? I'm incredibly disappointed with my appointment. I now understand why people avoid the doctor because some providers do not follow standard patient care. The provider did not listen to my concerns and neglected to solve the issue I came in for. They never sent out my prescription for my medication and documented within my chart that I was taking the medication. I suggest if it's not an emergency, go somewhere else. read more

Went to Bloomfield, NJ office in October, checked in paid my $40 co pay to be told that my insurance was out of network. Never saw a doctor was told my co pay would be refunded. As of 1/22/24 still no refund. Spoke to a Max in billing numerous times and he keeps giving me the run around .I asked to speak to his supervisor and was told he doesn't have one. Could someone in management or HR please look into this. Help is truly needed. I need my hard earned money back from services I never received.. read more

Friendly staff, modern design and use of technology. They use Ipads that scan the patient's license and insurance card limiting the amount of writing a patient needs to do for a visit. I was set up in their database (with a preferred pharmacy selected) in less than 5 minutes and in a room seeing a provider in under 15 minutes. I had an issue with a prescription so I called the office after my visit. They were busy at the time but they called me back in 5 minutes and resent my script within 15 minutes. Took my to level up with a busted lip. as advertised they do stitches. gentleman at the front desk called me up and was on the phone with a doctor and told me he couldn't help me he needed a surgeon without even looking at his lip. I then asked if he can even look at him to see if that was even necessary. After going back and forth he agreed to see him . he took one look at him and said he needs cosmetic surgery and his lip will be deformed. was trying to avoid hospital cost.Ran to the hospital only to be laughed at by the staff and they said he didn't need surgery it was a swollen busted lip that only needed Neosporin. embarrassing !! waste of 5 hrs in the hospital and still ended up with a bill. I went here to get a Covid test because I was exposed and was having symptoms. I went on Saturday and was tested with an hour PCR test and it was negative came back Sunday morning because I was feeling worse and a provider a woman with braids and was African American tested me with a viral panel swab and it came back positive the next morning, which I figured I had but I wondered why they didn't they do that test in the beginning I had symptoms and told her I was exposed to Covid! So then I decided to take my family to get tested because two of my 3 sons have asthma. I get there and request to have the same test done on my family that obviously was positive for Covid and to find that they are refusing my oldest is showing symptoms at this point and my two youngest have asthma! after waiting almost an hour why would I want come back another day when they can be tested today and especially my oldest who is symptomatic. When I tell you she refused to test him properly. I got highly upset and asked why she didn't test him the doctor with a natural low cut blond hair and Caribbean accent said to give him IBUPROFEN! I said test him and she wouldn't! So can some please explain to me why they gave him a note to my son to be out for a week from work but wouldn't test him for Covid??? This make no sense and she had no compassion, empathy or understanding of what she should be testing for and shouldn't be treating patients if she is not sure of what she is doing! This was the most disgusting treatment ever and honestly to be from your own people is even worse! She didn't care and shouldn't be treating people! My son had fever In the office and cough with congestion and lives with me who is positive for Covid! What you think he got!! They need a doctor with knowledgeable experience of how to treat people because she obviously don't have it! I'm his place will never get a recommendation from me and honestly it was a joke!
