Let's just say that I was on the phone 30 minutes and the person I spoke to was a complete incompetent. (I'm actually being nice.) I kept asking her for an appointment at the Nutley location yet she was giving Brooklyn, Clifton... anywhere but Nutley. Finally found it when I gave her the complete address to look for and she gave me an appointment for Friday at 5 pm. Next, she gave me the wrong pre-visit instructions and when I told her that she made a mistake she told me to hold on. Then she came back with a different appointment time which was 5:45. I said it was fine. But next thing you know when she was confirming it was for a different day as well. She still hadn't addressed the pre- visit instructions and at this point I told her I had to go and didn't make the appointment. I lost my patience... and I have a lot of patience in general so that's saying a lot. So appointment seekers beware..... you might have a great phone experience or have the experience I had. I'm going to have to call back and hopefully I get someone who actually knows what they are doing.

The staff seemed friendly enough and did their job in a timely manner. The main problem with NJI is coordinating the appointment. They don't tell you until after the appointment I needed to fast (originally I was going to schedule for later the same day). They do everything manually so I'm reading my doctor's poor handwriting, and he didn't fill out all the fields. It was like booking an appointment in the 90s. Surely there is a more electronic system possibility. Also, the 2 locations closer to me had no availability ever until the end of time, apparently. So, the one in Clifton it is. The location itself was fine for what my doctor requested, but the company as a whole left a bad impression.

Upon arriving a week later, I was told they don't do ultrasound appointments on this day of the week. And now, for the x-ray, after waiting over 40 min, I checked in with the front desk person and was told the tech hasn't arrived yet. It's 9:35 AM. Still waiting, writing this review to warn others that this place organizationally does not have it together.

I took a half day and they had me scheduled for almost 2 weeks later. Couldn't see me. I decided to reschedule for a Saturday morning at 9am (when they open) and the office was locked and nobody answered the phone for 30 minutes. No wonder this is a tier 3 facility. This operation epitomizes the saying "you get what you pay for", unfortunately it's been 3 weeks since I made contact and I haven't gotten a single thing from this place other than loss of wages for time off. They would charge me if I didn't show up for an appointment so they should compensate me since they didn't show up either. If there is any other option in NJ, take it and don't look back.

There's 4 chairs and 6 people waiting. Why if you check-in online do you have to arrive 15 minutes early in order check-in again? On a more positive note - the technician both times was amazing. Efficient, polite and pleasant. The test room was a bit stuffy and probably needed the air conditioning to be on. The parking lot is busy and filled to capacity.

MA's are not allowed to say your full name or your birthday in public areas of offices!

The radiologist has little respect for time of scheduled patients. After waiting almost an hour for my turn, I was told that due to a few prior patients being claustrophobic, I'd have to wait 10-15 more minutes. What does that have to do with you being behind schedule? In fact, that should've meant less patients for you.
