(Always best to make an appointment via your app.) Waiting time in reception area was less than two minutes. A young woman took some intake information from me. She was very good. Sorry, I didn't catch her name. A young lady named Blue took my blood. She was highly proficient withdrawing blood. In addition, she had an absolutely wonderful personality. Think, I was in and out of the facility in less than 15 to 20 minutes. Labcorp shares their parking area with a few other businesses. However, you're going always able to get a spot. The facility is located at 1 Greenwood Avenue right off of Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, NJ.

There weren't a lot of early appointments, as when I had to reschedule because of weather I had to wait 2 weeks to get an appointment before 10 am (since you have to fast before blood work). But once I arrived early, I was able to be seen earlier, so appointments seem more like a guideline. The woman at the front just pointed to a machine to check in at, which seemed like she could have just done it, but okay. An email had a QR code to scan, but the chance to never came up. The phlebotomist was efficient, and the process was painless. It only took a few minutes once I was admitted. To complete my doctor's request, it was a pretty easy process.

In the waiting room there's a screen which indicates each person waiting and whether they have an appointment or are a walk in. I watched for TWO hours as my name read things like 3 minutes, 7 minutes, etc. I had a later appointment so although it read appointment, I was technically a walk in. I got that they need to take appointments first and I don't mind being shifted if someone else is there at their appointment time. That's fine. I was trying to figure out the algorithm while waiting and someone else in the waiting room said she was certain it was a computer choosing who was next, etc. Well, when I went to the back to get my bloodwork, the one phlebotomist was telling the other who to call next and so on. The one phlebotomist was readjusting the list which was causing numerous delays. Let me repeat, TWO HOURS to get bloodwork drawn when the screen originally said eleven minutes!!! One extra star because it's clean in there.

Went to the dealership (the one next town over) for a simple oil change. Within an hour I get text with a video from the dealership recommending $7000 worth of work. I of course declined and told them to just finish the oil change but when I picked up the car, you bet I drove straight to Montclair Motorwerks from there. Ken and his team took a look at the vehicle and while some of the repairs recommended by the dealership were legitimate, others weren't really needed. The honesty was refreshing. Turned out the vehicle did need some extensive work (thanks Dad). The car was ready within a few days and the price (which was still in the four figures to reflect the scope of the work done) was a fraction of what the dealership would have charged. Additionally I was very careless in leaving something extremely valuable in the vehicle. One of the technicians found it and turned it over to Frankie for safe keeping. Anybody with questionable morals could have taken it and I wouldn't have known. When I picked up the car, it was there for me and while I was of course embarrassed, I was grateful. I'm under no impression that BMWs are cheap vehicles to own and maintain. They aren't. But the high degree of trust I gained from my first encounter with Ken, Frankie an their team made Montclair Motorwerks my go-to since then.

    AVOID. This place has gone way downhill since it was acquired by NJIN. The technician was OK but…read morethe rest of the experience is sub par. I used to come here back when it was Montclair Radiology and the location is super convenient for me, but this is the last time I'll be coming here after repeated poor experiences. First, online scheduling. I must have uploaded my information 6 times -- they keep asking you to upload your personal documents repeatedly. Arrived there 15 mins ahead of appointment time as requested. Had to register once, they took my personal identification from me, then got called to a desk and STILL had to fill out additional paperwork. No one communicates with you about what's happening -- other patients waiting explained to me, oh, they're taking your ID and then you'll be called up to the desk. Waited 45 mins. after my appointment, so total of an hour from their requested arrival time. This was an appointment early in the morning too. The waiting room was already full of people with few seats by time I was called. Routine mammogram, was fine for what it was. In and out in 10 minutes. The whole process of making you wait foreever, making you give documents repeatedly, and poor communication throughout makes you feel like livestock, not a human. Nevermind them charging you extra for AI-aided exams. It's a personnel savings for them, but because insurance companies don't cover AI exam reading yet, they pass along the cost to the customer. Poor move and no, did not opt for this. Told me results would be posted to my portal in 24-48 hours. Going on day 5 here and no results yet. Tried calling and you cannot reach a human. They make you leave a message to get a call back. Records aren't reflected on my doctor's portal either so I have no way to learn about my results. Lovely way to add stress to my week. I live so close to this location, in fact, that I know they are not good neighbors to the people who live in surrounding properties in a residential neighborhood. Their employees have nowhere to park so they park too close to driveways which creates blindspots pulling into traffic. They extended their hours much later than the former owners and there are delivery trucks, landscaping, snow removal people who literally show up with loud trucks in the middle of the night. Have had several similar experiences in the past with waits, not being able to reach anyone over the phone, etc. Continued to come for the convenience of the location, but never, ever, ever again will I return.

    Impossible to schedule imaging for myself and a family member on the same day. The "system" does…read morenot allow it. Customer service reps do not speak English well and require one to speak incredibly slowly. The entire process is backwards and time consuming. The second rep couldn't actually complete the scheduling and transferred me to a voice mail inbox. Infuriating!!
