This review is for Camping World online store but this is the store closest to me so I'll put my review here. I placed an order for a Montague Crosstown Bike (item no. 117493) in December 2020. My goal was to receive the bike in time for the New Year, which was the only holiday I had as a healthcare worker caring for COVID-19 patients working 72 hour/week. It is now July 2021. In the last 7 months, I still do not have the bike. Camping World STILL has no answers, despite having called its so-called "customer service" well over 10 times. I cannot count how many times I called and emailed Camping World asking for an update - any sort of information - from its customer service representatives. Months after months, I was told to "call back" in a week or two for more information. I am utterly disgusted by Camping World's business practices. Why is the company allowing people to order a product on its website if has none in stock? And why has the company made absolutely ZERO effort to resolve this situation? The bottom line this: I spent over $600 dollars on this bike. Camping World has not given me a shred of information whether I will ever receive this bike. At this point, it is as if Camping World has stolen my money. A refund of my money is inadequate at this point. I bought this bike with the intention of using it over the last year - in the little free time I had as a healthcare worker during the height of the pandemic. Obviously, that has not happened. I couldn't be more disappointed with my decision to do business with this particular location. I was too trusting of the salesman who helped me he told me it was wired for Internet. It wasn't that cost me $850. He never mentioned I needed a special hitch package until after the deal was done. The awning was broken the first time I tried to open it and when I called to talk about it, they said too bad. I drove it off the lot it's on me. Overall buy at your own risk. We just sold our Motorhome and bought a travel trailer. Camping World has a huge selection of cheaper priced (some very cheap quality) trailers to choose from. We went 2-3 tiers up and bought a Keystone Bullet. Greg Zimmerman was a very strong Sales Associate. Not pushy, very knowledgeable and helpful. If it wasn't for Greg, the rating would be a 2 star. They move a lot of RVs and you can tell. The borrow what they need from 1 trailer to fix another so they can get it off the lot. When you buy new, you expect it to be in mint condition with nothing missing/wrong. Overall the staff is friendly but wish there was more pride in the product they were selling. I had an appointment to meet with DeeDee, she greeted my husband and I at the entrance and started asking questions in front of other staff members. Very unprofessional!!! They said they were running behind and so we said it was OK for them to get back with us the next day. A week later we still have nothing and nobody will return our calls or emails or text messages. This is easily the worst purchase i've ever made. I purchased a travel trailer from Camping World of Valencia. Its had nothing but problems. Even had to swap it with anothrr trailer but it also has many issues. The issues are not small either. Bad framing, door wont close, flooring issues to name a few. The issues wouldnt be so bad if they would fix them. This is supposed to be a new travel trailer. I get a lot of, in my personal opinion that is just cosmetic. What a nightmare these people have been. Purchased a fifth wheel, a few things were not working on it, with the promise that they would be replacing or fixing items. Here are are weeks later and not only have they failed to do as promised but have completely ignored the several calls and messages I have left for them. At this point I have to contract the manufacture of the fifth wheel we purchased to have items repaired and replaced. I've been coming to this store for over 6 years for parts and to use the dump station. As a Good Sam Member I'm supposed to get the dump service for free however it has been closed for over a year and whenever I call there's a new excuse and no expected time it will reopen. I feel like I was sold a bill of goods when I bought my Good Sams membership. Also, members are supposed to get a discount on propane but their discounted price is $1.00 more then almost everyone around them. Today when I called to see if the dump station was open the rude receptionist told me to go to a gas station that charges $20 to dump then hung up on me. I can only assume that if this is how they treat their customers after they purchase something that I can also assume that they treat the big ticket buyers the same. I purchased a travel trailer from this location less than 1 year ago. This week when we were prepping to go camping one of the electric stabilizer jacks stopped working. At this time I also figured out that the manual jack tool given to us with the trailer was also incorrect. I called this location and was put in touch with the service department. I explained my problem and was told I could get an appointment 6 weeks out. This was a bit upsetting, as we have a trip planned in a week. There were no other options given to me and then I was hung up on. This to me is just a sign of someone who is inept at their job. The willingness to quit on a customer is not a good trait for a customer based business. This review is for the service department only, as the sales experience was fine. Edit: I called Heartland directly and within 15 minutes the parts I need are being overnighted to me. Camping World service department should take note. I have given this a rating before (much higher). Unfortunately I'll have to downgrade them as the person who answers phones hung up on me without letting me ask a question. I wanted to talk to financing as I put a $500 deposit on a new rig contingent on the sell of my rig (that I bought from this location last year). Well, I called Marcus's office and a polite person helped me. However, I still haven't heard back about my refund even after that phone call. I also wanted to know about the prorated policy for the extended warranty or whatever I bought during the purchase of my last rig. Well, I sold my rig finally l, but I won't be buying anymore RV's from this location since the Finance Dept and the receptionist hung on me. My salesperson was super cool though. No pressure, laid back and knowledgeable. It's too bad the others jacked it all up with their poor customer service skill set. He has no clue what it is and then proceeds to tell me this is camping world we don't do marine. Like I'm stupid. Not sure how long he's worked there but what a moron. Whether your people are well versed has nothing to do with showing your customers respect in all conversations. Your store has a marine section which has nothing to do with the fact that camping and boating go together like hamburgers and hotdogs. I've been meaning to write this review for weeks. We were in the market for a slightly used Class B RV and had been looking for many months. And, these were very hard to find in Northern California. After I spotted one at Camping World of Valencia, I called and was told I would need to put down a deposit on it. These vans - especially due to COVID - are in high demand and go fast. Unfortunately, the one I wanted was already gone. However, they quickly located a unit at Camping World in St. George, Utah. They said that as long as I put down a deposit, they would transport it to the dealership in Valencia. A couple of things to note - We live in Northern California, about a 6-hour drive from Valencia and they were transporting it at their expense. Because of the drive to get there, and my expense in renting a car to drop at the rental agency in Valencia, I was hesitant, because I didn't want to deal with any BS. I am a highly compensated white collar professional in the field of investor relations, so I'm educated and not one to deal with such things. However, I've had some really bad experiences with car dealers and hate the games they are known to play. Worse still, although I research big ticket items until I know more, in some cases, than the seller, I hate the whole process with some dealers pretending the buyer is dumb, engaging in upselling pressure tactics, etc. We experienced none of this crap at Camping World of Valencia. Jeff Dixon, our salesman, was low-key, easy going, never pressured us, highly communicative and very respectful of my wife's health concerns. She has had lymphoma and, thus, highly susceptible to COVID. He even let us sit in his office to stay away from other people in the main store accessories area so she felt more comfortable. SOLD! We rolled off the lot in a 2020 Coachmen Beyond 22C. Since we are RV total newbies, later on I texted him questions and he answered right away. I've been on a learning curve, but the responsiveness has made me buy accessories from the Camping World website. The head of sales of this dealership and, frankly, Marcus Lemonis should really let Jeff Dixon teach salespeople how to respect customers, provide information, and let them come to a pressure-free decision to buy what will be their largest and most expensive purchase in life beyond a home. We just spent over $1,100 for a 12' awing inlcuding installation for our RV. Because our rig is older we took it to the Valencia location so that it could be "assessed" prior to ordering to make sure the correct parts were ordered. Apparently curved arms should have been ordered but they installed straight arms. Because of this ERROR ON THEIR PART it was necessary for them to install wood blocks on the OUTSIDE of the RV - these blocks are raw plywood and crooked. WE WERE TOLD AFTER THEY INSTALLED THE STRAIGHT ARMS that the curved arms should have been installed. These raw wood crooked blocks look like complete hell. We were told that there would be reinforcing blocks on the INSIDE of the fiberglass body of the RV - there are no blocks, just washers and bolts. Is this going to cause damage to my fiberglass body if we use the awning? The bolt holes on the outside are NOT caulked to prevent water leaking in. There is now grease on our brand new carpet inside. No written instructions on how to operate the awning were given nor did anyone show us how to operate the awning. They told my husband "there's a youtube video" on how to operate the awning. NOTE: Our receipt shows that we paid for for sealing, support blocking and protective covering (for the floor inside). Just because our RV is not brand new doesn't mean the job should have been done correctly. After arriving home we called and left a detailed message for "Larry" the service manager. We can only hope that they will make it right. I cannot believe that they would allow something like this to leave their shop and feel good about it. We just put the awning up for the very first time and we have found that one of the lower brackets is broken so the awning leg closest to the front passenger door flops around. It's obvious that the installer INSTALLED THIS BRACKET KNOWING IT WAS BROKEN but left it on anyway instead of replacing it. See photos. read more

My RV has been more than 2 weeks sitting in CW for minor service and oil change. They have not touch it yet until now. I'm so regret for trusting CW Santa Clarita. Because of the delay I have to cancel my camp site reservation for this coming weekend. Keep calling only customer service said they will talk to the head of service department. But yet again nothing happening. CW! When you will improve your service? If you guys can't handle it. I had a such a horrible experience with Camping World at the valencia location that I had to cancel my purchase of my RV. My sales rep was great. I knew exactly what I wanted and I decided to purchase one of the travel trailers after looking 3 different floor plans. The nightmare started when I was trying to call back and speak to James from the financial department regarding the approval of financing because I had stated that I could get better financing from my bank but hey assured me that they would match it.. The receptionist, Kate was so rude (she hung up twice on me, also she didn't even transfer me to James's voice mail till asking a series of questions). I did not want to call them back but since James did not return my calls for 2 days, I had to call again for the 3rd day. Kate asked me the reason I was calling about and I explained to her that it was due to financing and also that I had never owned an Rv so I wanted to go over logistics. I tried for several days to get a hold of someone. Then Kat said she did not understand what I was saying and she said she did not understand me thoughtfully... Although when I then said to her that I would like to cancel my purchase, she understood me, yelled "oh my god!, " and hung up the phone, which was so extremely racist considering once I told her I was canceling my purchase, she understood that.. I was very excited to purchase my first travel trailer, however I was not going to have them deliver the trailer without answering my questions and concerns. Note: I told the sales rep from the beginning that I was going to finance the trailer from my credit union due to the good rate. They wanted me to go with their bank and offered to match the interest rate as my credit union. but we could not discuss any further because I went in on weekend. read more

Horrible service department. Everytime we call to schedule something to be fixed it takes weeks if not months to just be looked at because their turn around rate for employees is horrible!!! Then when they finally look at it it takes MONTHS to get parts and then additional months to install. Brought my RV in to have repairs done. I dropped it off June of 2022 and here we are February 2023 and repairs are still not complete. They are not major repairs either. I have emailed my service rep many times.amd have never gotten a response back. When I call in to service they tell me a different story everytime. I ask for my service rep to return my call and they always say okay he will call you, and you guessed it I never have gotten a single call. This is ridiculous, they have had my rv for 8 months now. Repairs were microwave not working, AC stop blowing cold, inverter not working, and rear step not working. It is a 2018 Thor Outlaw so it's not like it's outdated with impossible parts to find. Our camper was broken into and damaged. We tried to get some repair done and our insurance took us to camping world. They told us it would take a month. For 1 year we dealt with their shananagans. They have lied about timing, they have ordered incorrect parts multiple times and have had the worst costumer service at any mechanic I have ever had. If your insurance is paying for the fixes, please reconsider not giving them your service. read more

However, the trailer we wanted was $20,995 here which was almost $3000 lower than any of the other 22 available in California so I knew it was a good deal. After the experience, I would confidently return here for our next trailer. The sales woman Andrea Sepulveda we were set up with didn't seem to know the product, wasn't very helpful when asked questions didn't seem to care to be helpful. Purchased a new 2022 motorhome from Camping World Valencia. It needed warranty work as soon as I drove away from their parking lot. I had to wait 2 months!! to get an appointment to bring it back for warranty repairs after I just bought this $109k motorhome!! Then the service department held on to it for 2 months for maybe 8 hrs of repair work. They spent more time driving my new motorhome back and forth to their offsite storage lot (hauling multiple employees to pick up other units to be worked on) than working on my warranty repairs. When I finally got them to let me pick it up, the motorhome had 20 gallons of fuel gone and over 44 miles added from driving employees around to pick up and drop off other units from their storage lot. The stereo was blasting music when I turned the power on and also noticed they ran my generator adding 2hrs on it. The main repair to the exterior body panel was worse looking than when I brought it in and they blamed Thor manufacturer warranty to limiting the repair costs (this brand new unit shouldn't have even been sold in this condition). Camping World sold this motorhome new like this and could'nt even make it right for the customer. To make things worse, they broke a cabinet drawer that wasn't even in the area of things needing repair. So disappointing to be treated like this and get the same old excuses they pass on to everyone else in the past. It's 2022 Camping World Valencia!! Use some of that knowledge you've learned from the past and run a business correctly. Get rid of those bad managers who let stuff like this happen (like Service Director - David Andrews). read more

Don't take my word, check for yourself. I submitted a complaint with BBB, I am still waiting for a reply. I submitted a complaint with the DMV recently which I understand can take awhile. The biggest problem is I want an RV. I still want to be on the road, and this is a very lengthy process for something that could've been handled much sooner had the dealership had any flexibility. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE The salesman Bryan showed us a used (like new) 2016 hideout trailer.The trailer was top of the line and beautiful. We did all the paperwork, got insurance for the trailer and even bought a parking spot for the trailer. The deal got finalized, we put a $1000 down payment and everything was good to go. Today we went in to learn more about maintenance and what not but something was wrong. The trailer that was being showed to us was not the correct trailer. It was also a 2016 hideout but was worn down, dirty, and not even the same color. The jack was also manual instead of electric. The trailer was not even close to the one we had bought. We were told that the trailer sold to us was not the correct one. We were shown a used like new trailer and were sold an old one. Keep in mind i spent $250 on insurance and $250 for a parking spot. That's $500 that I will never get back. After we were bought the trailer they put the sign up on the trailer saying "SOLD TO __________" with our names on it. Today the trailer shown to us was no where to be found. Apparently it was there only to be serviced but it was in a selling state. Bryan knew everything about the trailer and what was inside so it was evident that the trailer was for sale. I overheard an employee saying that we got the trailer right before a family had come in so we were able to close the deal before them. This means that the trailer being sold and shown to us was also shown to other families. What they did to us was scam us. We wasted time and money on this trailer. The worst part of all is that the manager would hide from us. He would peek out, see us, and go back into his office. He did not have the courage to explain what happened to us. He also said that with the deal we had made, it was worthy of a good review on Yelp because they really needed one. THIS IS WHY YOUR STORE HAS 2 STARS. YOU ARE A SCAMMER. Too many mistakes happened for someone not to think to call me. A sold sign posted on "someone's" trailer. The VIN number being the one on the shittier trailer. BAIT and SWITCH. I bought a used Toy Hauler from them. They charged me about $1000 extra for this "inspection" package. The package was supposed be a thorough inspection of the entire unit to tell me everything that was wrong with it BEFORE I left the lot. As soon as I took it on my first trip, problems started happening left and right. The shackles were nearly worn to the point of breaking! This thing was not road safe. I had a bunch of other problems as well that they didn't catch on their "inspection". What's worse is their customer service. Once I brought this to their attention, they gave me the run around for over a MONTH! Finally, when I got someone to talk to me, he offered me a $250 gift card because I didn't have pictures of the shackles themselves. The shackles were replaced by a licensed repair shop and thrown away. I had the invoice for the shackles and all of the other work too. Apparently they think I'm lying about a small repair after dropping $12k cash at their business. Don't do business with this place. They are just trying to dump busted RV's off their lot.
