Only one star, because as they say...if I could give zero, it would be very well deserved. If you're the type of customer who wants to ask questions about your service or inquire why they charge $225 an hour for labor or the labor time quotes, then you're not welcome here. I was just asking, can I ask? I dropped off my trailer for a few different repairs. A couple of them were safely related issues, taillights that were out and an axle issue. I also had two single screws loose on two separate windows(minor job). The fix is an anchor, a wood plug with glue or simply a larger screw for a quick fix...whatever you desire. I asked them to check on these, it being a very simple job that I could do myself, but hey my trailer is in the shop anyhow...let the "experts" take care of it...for a reasonable price of course and get it all taken care of. That led to them "recommending" pulling off the entire interior window shades, placing 4 anchors in each hole "just in case" the other 3 come loose one day, "We're a pro-active shop". The charge $337.50 plus the cost of the 8 drywall anchors??! I need one window seal replaced for a different window...$450 plus the cost of the seal?!?! I asked them, it takes 2 hours to install a window seal? I asked them to please just order me the window seal and I will take care of it myself. Nope, we don't sell parts unless we install them?? Say what? They recommended a brand new axle from Dexter. They then recommended immediately popping open the axle to replace the barring's and grease with "better quality" barring's and grease? Why in the world would I do that to a brand new axle, when I have to have that exact service done in about a year or 12,000 miles anyways? Why in the world would I mess with a brand new axle that is surely covered under warranty for at least the first year or 12K miles??...because they wanted to charge me $500 to do so!!!! That's why. I approved the taillights being replaced right away through their approval system. No questions asked about that job. I thought it was fairly priced. My axle issue was a safety issue according to them and I asked them to work with my extended warranty company, Will said they would get on it. A few days later I get a call from Will, expecting an update....instead he calls to tell me, that the infamous Joel(co-owner) from these reviews...has reviewed all of the text messages between Will and I and he has decided that because I ask questions about my repairs, that I don't trust them?...because I'm intelligent and want to know what's going on?? Because I'm not a yes man, that means I don't trust them? This is from Will and I quote "We would prefer to focus on the customers that when we call them and tell them there are 4 things wrong with their window...they just say go ahead and do the job, no questions asked" Excuse me...Are you serious? I was never unprofessional in any messages, always said please and thank you, no bad words whatsoever...and now because I have numerous questions....you want act like a BUNCH OF CRYBABIES, take your ball and go home!! Pathetic. Read up on Joel here with the negative reviews....there's a common link. Did I say crybaby? Now you want me to pick up my trailer, with no services rendered? What about the taillights that I authorized right away?...a safety issue? Nope, come get your trailer. What about the axle issue that you say is a serious safety issue I asked??...Nope, we don't care come get your trailer. How unprofessional can you get?? This place will nickel and dime you to death. The incredible sales BS that comes out of Will's mouth is laughable. I had to mute him and just let him ramble. This company wasted two weeks of my time and sent me down the road with KNOWN DOCUMENTED safety issues....you know where this is going if something bad happens to me in the meantime. I got a slam dunk case, especially in this state with the text messages and paperwork. They better hope nothing bad happens to me in the meantime. The next day, I installed two anchors that I had under my kitchen sink in those aforementioned popped window screw holes....took me less then 30 minutes , job completed and the windows secured again. $337.50??...please! By the way Will, that window job you quoted me for the interior shade, window seal and installation for $1,100+. Richard's Boat and RV is going to do the exact same job for $575. Finally a fair and honest shop. Oh and their also willing to sell me just the parts if I want to install them myself, no problem at all they said. Imagine that. They quoted me $100 less on just the window shade. Don't steer clear of Final Touch Coach Works, run!! Run to Richard's Boat and RV if you want honest, reliable and no BS service. It's hard to find in the RV world as you know. Shame on you Final Touch for sending me down the road with known safety issues. Do better as a business and as people. read more

I was looking for a qualified shop to do a complete solar installation including lithium batteries and a hydraulic leveling system for my coach. I contacted Battle Born Batteries in Reno Nevada for a list of approved installers in the Los Angeles area. I was provided a list of four installers in the area and I interviewed each of them in person. Elite Coach Works in Valencia impressed me the most with the caliber of the custom solar installations they were working on in the shop when I visited. I initially met with Will who spent several hours understanding my needs and visually inspecting my coach from one end of the other to determine what existing equipment needed to be removed and where the new equipment could be installed. I also asked Will for a proposal to install a four corner hydraulic leveling system. Will understood that my B+ motorhome did not have a lot of storage capacity and I wanted his installation to be well thought out and executed so that I would be able to retain maximum storage capacity. Will indicated that he would put together a proposal for the solar and hydraulic leveling system installation and email to me for review. Will introduced me to his father and he spent over an hour showing me a complete custom solar installation he was doing for a customer's 4 x 4 pick up truck with a massive slide in camper to be used off grid for weeks at a time. I accepted Will's proposal and he personally did the entire installation of Victron solar equipment, solar panels, lithium batteries, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic lines and hydraulic jacks. Will would send me photos of the work as it progressed. When the work was completed and I picked up the coach Will went through all of the operating systems and showed me where everything was located and I was amazed at his attention to detail. The complete installation including the additional equipment for the hydraulic leveling system left me with a little bit more storage space than I had prior to the installation that Will did! Will's attention to detail was unbelievable! All wires were installed in wire looms, and physically attached to the cabinets where installed. Not one wire went straight from point A to point B like other installations I've seen where wires go helter-skelter in multiple directions leaving a very sloppy unprofessional installation. I cannot say enough good about Will's detail to installation! Being a construction quality control manager for 40 years I probably am one of the more picky customers that Will has encountered. There are many service facilities closer to my home but none that I would use after finding Elite Coach! Elite Coach is a 55 mile drive one way from my home but their work is so outstanding that I am willing to make the 110 mile round trip to drop off my coach for them to work on and the110 mile round-trip to go back and pick it up! I have returned to Elite Coach several times for custom installations which most RV facilities are not equipped to tackle. My coach is currently in their shop for additional solar panel installations and miscellaneous custom work. If you want an organization that will spend time answering all of your questions and not make you feel as though they're trying to rush through the answers, Elite Coach in Valencia are the people that you want to trust your work to! Elite Coach wo has just opened a new state of the art facility to handle any and all of your RV mechanical maintenance work as well as any required installations! I recommend Elite Coach WITHOUT RESERVATION for any of your RV bodywork requirements at their location in Valencia and any and all maintenance or new equipment installations at their newly opened Castaic location! You can always find someone that will do the work cheaper, but with Elite Coach you definitely get more than your money's worth! Give them a try! read more

I just left Elite RV Coach Works (their new name after a merger) and I could not be more pleased with the quality and the we-will-go-out-of-our-way-and-shucks-it's-no-big-deal approach that they took. Miguel was absolutely fantastic, doing his best to get me in as quickly as possible to repair a broken skyhatch that left me vulnerable to a particularly bad rainy season. He also worked directly with my insurance (Progressive) to keep my out of pocket costs to a minimum. To be honest, I've been less than pleased with a number of the RV repair places in Santa Clarita. I literally just hung up the phone with this company, and I had to take a minute to give them a review in a world where customer service can be lacking. They took the time to give me their best estimate over the phone without brushing me off or rushing me through a few questions. They were completely honest and transparent. As most companies that are worth their weight in gold, they are a little booked up. It's hard to find knowledgeable people that want to work nowadays so they're a little short staffed. Again, I appreciate that honesty and telling me that their wait time is kind of long. With that being said, they even gave me a referral to another company that might be a little quicker. Our 5th wheel was damaged to the point we thought we would never be able to use it again. I called Final Touch , now called Elite Coach Works. I spoke to Joel and he was so reassuring. Took the 5th wheel in and he said they could repair it. Joel did a great job explaining to us how the insurance process was going to work and and helped us navigate the confusion through the process. Joel was amazing and always so reassuring. Miguel then took over seeing the 5th wheel being restored. More than once my wife and I called with questions and uncertainty and we received the exact same treatment from Miguel that we had received from Joel , comforting and reassuring us that our coach would be restored to a like new status. When we picked up the coach we were amazed that it was restored just like they said it would be. We were able to meet Miguel and talk to Dan the lead Tech and the rest of the crew they walked us through the coach and explained the repairs and answered all our questions. They even repaired a previous repair made by Giant RV had been made to our pop out that was staining out carpet , Giant RV used duct tape to make the repair can you believe that! If you are wonder about the Name change from Final Touch RV to Elite Coach Works Inc , the shop merged with a repair shop that does maintenance. So while I had my coach in the Shop I was able to have routine maintenance on my axles and brakes. Once I hooked it up the mechanic took me for test drive and gave recommendations on setting my electric brakes. Anyone looking for help with a damaged RV will be hard pressed to find a shop with more Integrity or professionalism. From now on both my wife agree we will be taking our 5th wheel to Ellie for all maintenance and repairs even though it is hour drive it is so worth the extra time. Damon and Miguel saved our weekend! On our way out of town, I realized we left our steps down on our travel trailer, and as I pulled over, the bottom step caught the curb and everything bent. I couldn't close them all the way, so I called Final Touch. The guys were on lunch, but Miguel told me he'd call me back. He did within 10 minutes, told me they'd try to help us out, and then Damon straightened everything out enough so the stairs retracted completely! When I asked how much I owed them, Damon said we didn't owe him anything, and to enjoy our trip! We REALLY appreciate this incredible, "small town feel" service! Met with Joel to review the work that needed to be done. Seemed like a nice guy. Sent estimate to insurance company. Insurance company issued 2 party check to Elite Coach Works and myself. Normal corse of business is RV owner get check and gives repair shop deposit for parts to get started. They wanted all the money up front to do the job? What's there incentive to get the job done on time or right when paid in full, in advance. Never seen anyone act like this before. And they were very rude saying that's how we do business and you can go somewhere else. Angry folks. Who gets paid before the work is completed? Was pretty stressed out after discovering our travel trailer had rear body damage after returning from a trip. Called the insurance and they recommended Final Touch. This was the first time ever having to deal with a body shop regarding our trailer so we were pretty apprehensive. My husband called in spoke with the owner Joel who was very pleasant and told him to bring it in for an estimate. We arrived that same day and was greeted by Gereldine and I believe the puppies name was Zoe. Gereldine was a class act very professional and knew her job very well. Our estimate was done by Miguel we made small talk and Miguel was also very friendly and professional putting me and my husband at ease. Miguel went above and beyond by taking us on a tour of the shop and showed/explained the process. We advised that we had a trip planned for the 4th of July and he said he would do his best to have it ready. We recieved a phone call on Monday advising our parts have came in and he asked us to bring our trailer in. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner Joel, Gereldine, Miguel and the pup! Everyone seemed anxious to get our trailer in and out so we could go on our trip. Today is Friday and we picked up or trailer and Final Touch did an AMAZING job! I wish I could give this business 5 stars like the other reviews, but, I can't. Our canopy was replaced due to high winds. Several months later, we returned to have the canopy checked, it appeared to have loosened and the foreman told us it was fine. Again, the winds loosened the canopy causing us to have to tighten it on the FREEWAY! We returned to Final Touch to speak with them. Owner never contacted us! I am wondering if it's because it's not a $300,00 rig, but, a mere $25,000, why bother! I am just happy no one was hurt. read more

Finally a good RV repair shop in the Santa Clarita Valley that works on DIESEL motor homes! We have been RVing for over 25 years with gas powered rigs. Just about anybody can work on a Ford truck chassis based RV. But when we got our first "Diesel Pusher" two years ago there was nobody local, so we have been taking it up to Lancaster for service (40 miles!) At Final Touch (now called Elite Coach Works) we had a normal annual engine service performed - oil and filter change, plus some work inside the coach. Miguel kept us informed of their progress on a daily basis. When completed both he and Bill (mechanic/owner) went over all the work that was performed on the coach, and patiently answered all our questions, plus gave us his opinion on issues that we have been wondering about regarding tires, repair schedules, campgrounds, all kinds of stuff!! We have had our coach to Final Touch twice now. The first time was the week before a dune trip. Our windshield was broken and Final Touch got the windshield and had it installed within a few days... Awesome!! We just had it in again for an awning that needed to be replaced. They had a new one ordered and installed AND DELIVERED BACK TO OUR HOME within a week. They also had washed it!! I highly recommend this shop. I've dealt with Jonathan and he is great!! Just a side note... In the 11 years we've owned our Motorhome this is by far THE BEST place to go for repairs. Just got my 2005 Winnebago Journey back from Final Touch Coach Works.Boy was I pleased with the work they did.A friend of mine accidently ran into my rear slide out while backing into a parallel parking space at the Rincon Park Campground last month.There was minor damage done to the slide out and the slide out rolling cover and mechanism had to be replaced.Joel the owner assured me that they would fix it like new matching the paint and replacing all the parts needed from Winnebago.Final Touch did and outstanding job.I would recommend them to any of my friends or anybody who needs body work done to their rig. I would love to give them a much higher rating but after my second encounter I must be truthful here. Joel and his crew previously did a repair on my rv 3 years ago and after the insurance approved it, some corners were cut and yet the insurance paid the total estimate. when asked ,I was told they wouldn't cover everything. I thought it looked acceptable yet not perfect but the estimate verbage was questionable so I accepted it and left. Most recent 2nd repair. I had scraped up the passenger side, and damaged a rim. I was called and asked to pick up the RV without warning. So I made special arraignment to go get it. When I arrived, the coach had paint fingerprints and overspray all over the side and in areas surrounding. a quick wipe from their guys with prepsol removed the finish and required detail and wax, the new water heater door, improperly installed fell off when opened, hinges not attached and retaining cables missing, propane heater cover was separated from body and screw to hold in place was silicone and painted to resemble fix after the screw apparently was broken during removal. the removed and reinstalled ladder was missing 3 rivets that hold it in place, and the license plate light was not installed correctly and I repaired it myself in front of Joel after witnessing his incompetent employee fiddle with it.. the newly replaced rear wheel was missing the chrome lug nut covers. I refused pick up and came back next day Upon getting ready to leave, I find my favorite cd, laying in metal tray(not in case as I store them). My radio doesn't work and is loose in the dash. My backup camera picture is flickering. I find the antenna cable removed from the radio,2 loose screws on the upper dash trim and one loose screw on my instrument panel with a crack at the opposite corner. as they has removed the backup camera to paint the rear of the coach,it is my theory that the picture was not working?they attempted to access the camera monitor causing the loose screws and cracked panel, disconnected radio while doing so. After questioning Joel, he talked to his crew and of course no one would take fault ,so Basically Joel expects me to eat it, I left with rv only more pissed off than the previous day. I no sooner get 2 blocks from his shop, and I see something fly off the rear of the rv... Camera cover screws were overtightened and broke thru the painted plastic housing causing the housing to hit the ground damaged and now scratched as well. I received a further updated bill from my insurance for rim refurbishment as well as a $600 rim replacement. No refurbishing done on any other wheels. Falsified insurance claims on both occasions. I have turned all issues over to the insurance company . Until Joel wants to accept resonsibility,for the less than reasonable quality of workmanship I received, I shall take pride in going elsewhere in the future and will continue to voice my dissatisfaction in his lack of customer service. contact me in scv rv blogs for pics... We are from Michigan and received damage to the roof of our 5th wheel travel trailer from a low hanging limb. Through our insurance we were originally booked for the repair at Camping World in Santa Clarita. When we got there we found that they intended to keep our RV for two months to conduct the repair work. That was not an option for us as we were headed home at that point. We went online and saw the great reviews for Elite Coach Works (formally Final Touch Coach Works) and gave them a call. The owner, Joel, was very understanding and stated he knew we were not from the area and needed the repair done quickly. He was booked out approximately three weeks at that point. He rearranged things on their schedule to get us in within two days. They worked very quickly and cooperatively with my insurance company. They gave high attention to detail on repairing the roof and a scratch in the fiberglass front cap, and then took the time to show us everything they had done on the repair to our unit. The work they did was excellent, and their customer service was outstanding. I recommend Elite Coach Works wholeheartedly for any repair you may need to have done. read more

We purchased a New Allegro Breeze in December 1st 2017 that had new factory paint. Two months later, I ran the side compartment doors in to my mailbox driving out of my driveway. My wife was extremely saddened as was I. I researched RV paint companies in the San Diego area where we live. Then I found Final Touch in Valencia, Ca. After talking to the owner, Joel, and talking with Bob Tiffin, I drove the 150 miles to Final Touch. They did the paint repair in 3 days. Joel introduced me to their supervisor, Dave, and we discussed the repair. These people are the most cordial people I have ever worked with including Joel's wife. We had the carpet and tile taken out of our motorhome, and they did a very terrible job. We purchased the new flooring at our local flooring store, and WE delivered it to Final Touch. When we finally picked it up, it looked nice. When we got home. (150 miles away) I took a closer look at the job, and noticed ALL the mistakes. All I could do was cry. It is so bad, I don't want any one to come inside. I have contacted a floor person in our area to come over and tell me what I could do. I had my Coach at Camper World for service and it was broken into and ransacked and stripped of our possessions and electronics while on their property. Sheriff thinks by one of their employees, they treated me badly and truly did not care. I came across Final Touch and called and talked to them about fixing all the damage associated with the break in. They were so nice and helpful, I dropped off coach to them, they gave me a tour and explained what they do and how they would make my Coach home again for us. We are so skeptical of any auto/rv/contractor type of businesses. However, we really wanted new flooring and carpets put in our coach. I looked on Yelp and saw the good reviews of Final Touch and threw caution to the wind and took it in. What a absolutely wonderful experience!! From Joel and Geraldine, to Luis that did our floors, we thank you. We had a three week span that we were going to be not using our coach and we gave Luis the date that we had to have it back to leave again. Even though there was an ordering mix up that cost nine days, Luis worked long hours, even at night to give us back our coach on the promised day. We purchased our 30Y Winnebago Adventurer on a Ford V10 chassis brand new in 2002. It was and is the perfect floor plan for us. We have treated this like our baby, but, the one thing we could not solve were the sun damage to the vinyl stickers on the coach. It made our coach look old long before it's time. Our interior was in good condition, we had maintained the coach impeccably through the years. And while I could see us owning the coach for another ten years, we could not live with an "old" looking coach for that long. So, we considered the option of new or slightly used. The fact is, we could not find another coach that we liked as much as ours, without spending another 100k+. The only thing that we really did not like about our coach was the exterior and outdated electronics. We made plans to have our coach repainted and the electronics updated. We spoke to people locally, looked at local work (we live in San Diego) and by far, the people who seemed to really understand what we were trying to do, and had the skill and desire to help us, were the people at Final Touch RV. We had looked at a number of motor home colors that we liked a great deal. We even took a quick picture of one going down the road. We emailed that picture to Joel and his staff at Final Touch. They immediately identified the colors as being from a Tiffin motor home. Since we were a distance away, I was not going to drive all the way up to Castaic, without having a pretty good idea of the cost. Joel was a man of his word. Gave me a quote over the phone, stuck to it, and was very reasonable with the extra, unanticipated costs. Joel set his paint people to work on the colors, and color schemes. We chose to have the motor home repainted with the design of a current Adventurer (without the logo's why advertise for them when the original materials did not hold up) using the Tiffin colors we liked so much. We also had the team of Final Touch upgrade all of our TV electronics, and install a wine cellar! They took out the old Cathode ray tubes, and, put the 36" LED in completely matching oak bezel around the new TV, hooked it up to surround sound, installed a new receiver, and outdoor television (this even now doubles as an outdoor television for us). Even when we had to make some minor adjustments, they did so, willingly, and completely. So, at the end of the day, I have basically a new motor home. My sister met us at a local campground, and jumped out of her RV, asking me why I didn't tell her I bought a new motor home. A friend of mine who is an engineer, looked at the workmanship, and said, these guys really paid attention to the details. The quality of the finish is amazing. Much better than you EVER would get from the factory. I could not be happier with my decision to work with the people at Final Touch. read more

We are eternally thankful to Joel and his team / family at Final Touch. First, we were referred to Final Touch when our relative had an accident in our Roadtrek moving it to a storage yard. We were in Florida - the vehicle in California! The whole side of the Roadtrek Sprinter was creased - imagine a dent down the whole side. Ouch. Joel met my relative and took the Roadtrek to his shop. He communicated with me / us the whole way. He involved me in every decision and you felt like he advising you as if his own repair. The Roadtrek repairs were completed on time and with high quality. On the graphics, when he did not like the match - he rang and we discussed it. We decided to remove some of the graphics versus putting on a sub-standard match. And then Joel delivered the Roadtrek - after our inspection - to us. I promised I would write a review and you are in great hands with the Final Touch team. We are now safely back in Florida and we continue to enjoy the open road. Great shop - incredible owners. Go there. read more
