The "scene" at Campiello's and the variety of indoor and outdoor eating areas must be the key to its popularity. It really can't be the food or the service which are about average. A big menu and big crowds are not conducive to either great food or service. Campiello's is a low risk night out for tourists or visitors because of the "scene" but there are plenty of better food options for the locals. read more

You have to be tough here about where they sit you...corners, by the toilets is their first choice no matter how dressy you are - unless they know you I guess...feels very "in" . But lovely atmosphere once you get seated and the food, while overpriced like most of Naples, is pretty good. read more

Food is amazing. One of the best meals you'll have in Naples. The zucchini blossoms they had on special were the best I've ever had. Same with the rice balls. Being Italian, I am always critical of Italian food, especially in the south... But this place doesn't disappoint. Our waiter was terrible- younger kid who was just kind of jerky, not friendly at all and seemed like he couldn't be bothered. I think his name was Andrew. We love this restaurant and bring visitors there. However, we have had three very bad experiences there. 1. Because of rain, we were asked to dine in the hallway. My husband said yes thinking all would be well done. We were a party of eight. We got to see every person enter and exit the side door and a few of us got to see every male enter and exit the men's room- like it or not. Complete with flushing sounds. Awful!!! 2. Brought friends there. Order taken. Dinner did not come. Once we finally asked, waiter was gone for the night. We were not served our original order. Manager came out to apologize. Free dessert- no one wanted it. 3. Brought special guest to restaurant. We were seated inside in front of door to hallway to bathrooms,etc. We had a terrible time. Constant door opening, people coming and going. Couldn't carry on conversations - constant interruptions. How greedy of the restaurant to place us there. We should have waited, just didn't know and trusted them to do what's right. read more

We specifically came to this restaurant to celebrate our 23 wedding anniversary, what a great experience! The place was busy, and the staff were even busier...We arrived about a 1/2 hour early for our reservation in part because finding parking can be tricky. Street parking can sometimes mean walking a block or two to get to your destination. We were fortunate & found parking close by. We waited at the bar [lucky to find seats available] and the bar tender was quick & friendly...even though he was rooting for Alabama over Florida. When we were seated our waitress came right over. She was excellent & patient. She went over the menu & new items in detail. We ordered a bottle of wine, took our time to order appetizers and enjoyed our meal without being rushed. This is most definately a place to go to celebrate any event, or just enjoy the evening...great experience, friendly staff and great food! read more

The ambiance is great, it's a lovely restaurant and the service was attentive and not lacking. It's so wonderful to be able to try new dishes and not have to see or eat the same things over and over again! I ate here once before a couple of years ago on our last trip to Southwest Florida so I new it was good, it seems that they have made some changes to the menu but only for the better. There are still the same great signature dishes I remember from last time as well. If you're a "foodie" or if you have a more sophisticated palate, you will love this place; so if you are in Naples, definately try Campiello's! read more

Dined at Campiello last night. Three of us ordered the porketta. The way the waiter described the preparation we expected tender juicy pork. It was so dry none of us finished our meals. We did tell the waiter and he said he would tell the chef. I wish I had ordered the short ribs after reading the Yelp reviews! Two other diners with us ordered the spit chicken and were satisfied with their meals. Don't think we will be going back to Campiello. read more

Beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and really made an effort to be personable. However he was absent for about 45 minutes at one point and the food is literally terrible. Do not order pepperoni pizza (does not taste anything like pepperoni & my boyfriend hated it) or the capriese salad (aka 5 tomatoes and no basil although the cheese was good) LOL I SHIT ALL NIGHT!! deserts were a waste of money. read more

So this place was recommended by a friend and my wife really wanted to go. Nice atmosphere varied menu and way overpriced unless you order pasta. I eat out fairly often for business around the country so have seen pricy options but, $60.00 for veal? Server was pompous and none too happy when we didn't order wine or drinks. When my wife ordered a salad and an appetizer as an entree there was an awkward silence. I had snapper which was fine. It is served without sides at $38.00 - really? In any case our waiter ignored us so thank goodness for other servers. Looking at another review I think we had the same waiter! Won't return. read more

My wife and I had a 5PM reservation at Campiello Restaurant on 2/11. We arrived at 4:55PM and greeted politely. We were asked to wait "2" minutes and we would be seated. We stepped aside and waited several minutes. The place was getting very busy and people were being seated so I returned to the person who I thought asked us to wait. He was apparently not the same guy and when I asked him of our status he said "I don't even know who you are" and abruptly walked away from me. This was embarrassing and rude. Keeping in mind that this is one of the most expensive restaurants on the street I was, and am surprised at this treatment. I addition when I notified the restaurant of this incident I received no response from management. The food was acceptable at best and the service polite. We will never return. read more

Love this place! The pasta with the crab is my favorite! !I prefer eating outdoors because it tends to get very noisy inside.

We ordered crab and pasta with tomatoes. Disappointed because there was cream sauce and it was not mentioned in the menu. Menu described the entree as dry with crab meant tomatoes and basil and instead it came out soupy. Overall the pasta was cooked al dente and plenty of crab meat... just hold the cream and I would have given it a 10. House salad was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of dressing. Fried eggplant was more like french fries not my favorite but the fried calamari was a10. Service was a 10. read more

My husband & I met at Campiello's 8 yrs ago. The luckiest night of my life!! It is truly our most favorite of restaurant's and we know a gem when we find one. Not just because we met there but it is a place that truly has it all. Superb food, wonderful fun atmosphere with a flair of old Italy. The staff are truly amazing wonderful people that can't do enough too make you happy. We have a standing reservation every Friday night with friends of ours who agree it is the best in town. We also eat lunch at least 3 times a week. I would go for breakfast if it were available lol. Really want to thank the manager's Dave, Courtney, Leslie and others for always making sure we are happy!! The waitstaff & bartenders are the BEST in Naples!! My husband & I both want to express our sincere gratitude & appreciation for all the hard work everyone at Campiello's puts out. If you have never been you must go!! We were all in town for a business trip and had a party of 8 all together. Our food was phenomenal and the wine selection was outstanding. We enjoyed bottles of Brunello all night long. The restaurant itself was quiet on a Tuesday night, probably because it was freezing for Florida. Great ambiance, lots of twinkling lights, very festive. I am writing this review though because of our service. I have never left a review for a restaurant before, but our waiter, Mark, was absolutely outstanding. He was so personable, very knowledgeable about not only his restaurant, but Naples in general. Being from out of town, he was almost like a tour guide, full of suggestions for how we could make the most out of our visit. He had us all laughing all night long, had perfect suggestions for what we should order, and left us wanting for nothing at all service-wise. A true professional, and as business owners ourselves, the kind of person this place should be glad to have. 10 out of 10 tonight, thanks Campiello. read more
