With the recent hot weather, we had noticed an uptick in drywood termite activity around the house and decided it was time to take a more preventative approach, particularly with our attic. Because of the way our older home was designed, we honestly weren't sure the attic could be properly accessed. Omar proved otherwise. He managed to get himself up through a very tight opening and thoroughly treat the exposed wood throughout the attic, giving us some much-needed peace of mind that an area of the house we had always worried about was finally protected. Just as impressive was the care he took inside our home. Before beginning, Omar covered the floors and surrounding areas with plastic, taped everything off carefully, wore protective shoe coverings, and treated our home like it was his own. When you're having this kind of work done above your living space, that attention to detail and care truly matters. We originally used No-Nonsense years ago when they treated the basement/subarea of our home, and we went roughly six years without an issue. More recently, when activity appeared around one of our living room windows, they treated the area and we haven't seen any additional evidence there since. Now, having the attic treated as well gives us another layer of protection and is a big part of why we continue to invest in preventative treatment and renew our warranty. Termites are simply a reality of homeownership in Southern California, especially with an older home, and we'd much rather stay ahead of them than discover substantial damage years down the road. After talking with Rob at Old Towne Termite, I felt comfortable with his approach of doing an inspection to determine what type of cockroaches were coming in. Other companies gave me a certain price and application process before doing the inspection. Rob sent his technician Chris out and it was determined that we had German cockroaches. This type needs a specific type of treatment. Chris was punctual and was very easy to communicate with. We set up a monthly service for 3 months to ensure that we were able to get rid of the cockroaches and also any eggs or baby cockroaches. The price was reasonable and was less than most of the other companies that I had spoken with. I will call Rob at Old Towne Termite if I have any other pest control issues.

They've always been reliable, professional, and incredibly responsive. If I text with a question, they text back. There was one time I was accidentally charged, and they refunded it immediately without any hassle. The owner has always been kind and easy to work with, and every technician we've had has been respectful and professional. One thing that really stood out to me recently was when we got a new puppy. A technician accidentally left our gate open, but instead of ignoring it, he personally texted me to apologize and took full responsibility. That kind of accountability says a lot about the people they hire and the culture they've built. As for the actual pest control--they do a great job. We rarely see spiders or bugs throughout the year. When summer rolls around and the ants start showing up, they come out and handle it quickly. If the ants get especially bad, they'll even come back for an extra service. Honestly, our biggest ant problem comes from neighboring properties, so that's not something any company can completely control, but they do everything they can to keep it under control. I get pest control companies knocking on my door all the time trying to earn my business, and I never even consider switching. Good customer service is hard to find these days, and this team consistently delivers it. Highly recommend.
