I had a roof leak underneath my solar panels that was dripping into my house. This was a bit of a nightmare because I had to have someone else come out and remove the solar panels. But once that was done, Roger and his crew came out and repaired my tile roof to be good as new. I've also had him come out and use a leaf blower on the roof to clean debris out from underneath the solar panels so that I don't have future leaks. Roger Garza, the owner, and the Campbell team did a fantastic job replacing my roof. My roof was leaking and causing internal damage. Roger gave me a honest itemized realistic quote for the job. Other contractors would give me a quote that was excessive, not itemized but, had a big discount as a teaser. In-other-words, a BS type of quote. One that is hides the facts, but 25% discount must make up for it. I ignored it. The men that did the work were very professional and would answer any question that I would have about what was being done, when it would probably be done, and what the city inspectors had to say. My home is more than 50 years and had some rot that needed to be fixed. No problem, the rot was replaced and looks great. The old roof was removed and carted away with no issues. The new plywood and shingles were installed quickly. I have a skylight, and required some custom flashing, no problem for the Campbell team. The employees in the office were also quick with answers for any question that I had. They can get overlooked sometimes, but they did a fantastic job. Initially I was hesitant to hire Campbell Roofing because they do not have as many feedbacks as some of the other roofing companies in my area. Though Booked, they were able to schedule me in a bit earlier than others, and his quotation was very fair considering the raining season was already upon us. Roger made a good first impression and given the circumstances I went with them, and Im glad i did. Besides doing a great job on the roof and keeping the schedule, they went well beyond the scope of the work in every way. They are not the type of company that takes shortcuts, or will try to sell you more than you need. This company was hired as a sub-contracted tear off crew by my primary contractor (CROSS ROOFING of Milpitas) ANOTHER 1 STAR RATED COMPANY. When Campbell Roofing tore off my (3) layer roof and gutters they also broke off stucco in various corners of the walls, badly damaged a (90) year old eyeball roof window and left behind many broken fascia boards. My primary contractor pressed them to fix the window and they did. But they wouldn't fix the stucco and fascia boards. After to much run around and lack of responsibility from both companies I've been forced to pay an alternative roofing contractor $1500 to fix what they left behind. Don't be so quick to take a lower bid from either of these companies. Hire someone else. read more

We have a metal tile roof and I called Campbell Roofing to ask if they work on metal tiles as we needed some minor repairs and new gutters. We had already had several roofing companies come out to do estimates, especially ones that worked on metal tile roofs. Roger came out and took a very quick and cursory look. He didn't even take the time to look in depth and ask questions. He was intent on selling us a new roof that was not metal tile. It was an absolute waste of time listening to Roger trying to sell us a new roof without even taking a look at all at our roof and not focusing on the gutter work that we really needed done. I told him our gutters were leaking all over the place and he said we should just wait on the gutters for a few years and focus on replacing the roof. What type of advice is that? Our guess is that Campbell Roofing normally don't work on metal titles and just wanted to upsell us. All other roofers that came for an estimate told us we had at least 10 years left on our roof. Beware of this company. The right way to do business is just to admit they don't work on metal roofs instead of trying to sell us a brand new roof we don't need for an exorbitant amount. read more

Campbell Roofing, Inc just finished re-roofing our house and I couldn't be happier with the job and the service that we received from Roger and both of his crews. I was worried about damage to the gutters we had installed a year ago, but they survived the tear off and re-roof without any problems. The crews were courteous and efficient. They were here when they said they would be, and they worked the entire day--in 90 degree weather! Steve B. of San Jose : Right after a rain storm, when I observed water running-down the outside of my hot water heater's exhaust pipe, Roger and one of his roofing technicians came to my home to examine my roof. During this examination, Roger's technician took photos of the damaged flashing around that penetration and then found (and photographed) damaged tiles on the roof too. While on the roof, Roger's technician performed "emergency repairs" by recalking the flashing around the leaking penetration. Consequently, I asked Roger to reflash and recaulk ALL roof penetration pipes and to replace ALL broken tiles. After getting competitive repair quotes from three other roofing contractors, I elcted to give Campbell Roofing the job. Within three days of asking Roger to commence 'the job", it was done. With the exception of obviously "new" flashing and "new" tiles on the roof, his clean-up of the job site made it appear that his people had never been to my home. I had Campbell roofing come out to give me a quote. Took about a week after the appointment got them to send me a quote and then another week to schedule the work. They said they'd be coming on a Saturday morning but only gave me "the morning" as a timeframe. I waited on Saturday until noon and no one showed up. I tried to call and email but no one responded. Finally, on Monday around 1:00 someone got back to me and only said "sorry for the inconvenience" with no explanation. They asked if they come this Saturday. I asked if I could get any kind of discount given I had waited an entire morning and no one showed up. They said no. Not wanting to risk another no show I decided to go with another vendor. This new vendor was able to give me a quote over text message after I sent him some photos, scheduled the work immediately after I said ok and the price was lower. Save your time and look elsewhere. read more

Price also was much more reasonable than the initial quote I got from another vendor, and, also unlike the first company, Campbell Roofing said that they didn't need to remove and replace the whole roof just to fix the gutter. I just purchased a home that had a metal roof put on, one year ago, from this company. When I called him to tell him that water was pouring down my walls & ceiling, he blamed it on the fireplace cracks. I called another roofer & they said the chimney flashing was not secure or sealed. They fixed the roof and no further problems. When I asked Campbell what the warranty was on this roof, he said it was NOT transferable to new owners. So no warranty and no guaranty. I have checked around town & other roofers have informed me they have had to repair his work & has a horrible reputation. I would never recommend this company read more

They were assigned when I had my home warranty fix a seam in my roof that was leaking in a house that I had just bought. They charged $600 over the the $1000 that was covered (so $1600 total and I had to pay a lot out of pocket), to do work that took a few hours. A year later the roof is leaking in the same spot, damaging my ceiling and floor, and I will find a more honest and competent company. read more

They charged $2000 for roof and gutter cleanup, tile repairing, roof protection and pigeon repelling net for $2000 but did not do the roof protection and only part of the pigeon repelling net. Only 2 workers came for 2 and half hours. The owner keeps delaying the incomplete work for months and never show up. Taking money without performing the service sold is a fraud. read more
