She immediately got my vibe and was able to make recommendations that made it easy for me to make decisions. On top of it all, Jessica is super easy to talk to, responsive, and fun to work with! Not only do I love the design of my home, but it flows so well with my lifestyle. I was very overwhelmed with the selecting of the materials prior to beginning but Jessica made it a joy. Her expertise and creative approach really made the stress of a large remodel exciting! Al was also a huge creative mind making suggestions that saved time and money. I truly appreciate how much he took care to make sure I understood the process. He was extremely patient and commutative every step of the way. I especially loved Fernando and Mark their Project Managers. I would highly recommend Granada to any family member or friend.

I have now used JM Construction for three bathroom remodels. After multiple projects, I can…read moreconfidently say they consistently do excellent work. From the very beginning, the office staff was friendly, organized, and efficient when it came to scheduling and billing. I usually have anxiety when opening a bill. But I had so much trust and faith with this company & office that I didn't even flinch when I received their bills. The entire crew was punctual and professional. They were also very respectful of our home by keeping a clean workspace. This made living through a remodel so much easier. The owner Jim was always pleasant and easy to work with. He kept everything moving smoothly and made the process as stress-free as possible. He has a calm disposition which I have rarely encountered when I interacted with other general contractors in the past. A special shout-out to Ben, who handled the estimates and also completed all of the tile work. His quotes were detailed and accurate, and the final costs ended up being very close to the original estimates--hence, the reason I didn't panic when I opened a bill. On top of that, his craftsmanship is exceptional. He's incredibly patient, meticulous and detail-oriented. The finished tile work is absolutely beautiful. Caesar and Javier had their hands full with their endless skills (from demolition and drywall to plumbing and electrical). They were hardworking and earnest, despite having to climb all of the stairs on my property! I can also tell that they are loyal and love their jobs. This speaks volumes about the owner and the company. My husband doesn't know this yet, but there are still several home projects I'd love to tackle someday . JM Construction will be my first call!

Start to finish they were in our house nearly every day for about 5 months. I know they had a lot of other projects going on but they always made me feel like a priority. Jeff is responsive, realistic, and reasonable. He sets proper expectations and he is VERY detail oriented. He helped me foresee potential issues and knew exactly what steps to take and what order to do things in to ensure a meticulously executed finished product. Jeff had excellent tile partners who did beautiful tile work all over my house. His main partner, Parry, who did much of our electrical, plumbing and woodwork, is absolutely wonderful. He is a perfectionist and values doing things the right way (which is not always the fast way). Jeff also helped me find a wallpaper expert, who was incredible. Finally, while I gave Jeff what I consider a lot of money (!), he gave back in many ways, not nit-picking me for charges for extra work here or there. I am grateful for that, so thank you Jeff.

He said a permit for the work was not really mandatory, so I believed him. I hired him to remodel my master and guest bathrooms and he had a very young, unexperienced guy to actually do the electrical wiring for a new cam light in my guest bathroom who did a bunch of wiring in my attic! I told Jeff about my concerns because I live in a townhouse with other homes attached and was concerned about the safety. There are numerous other reasons why this man should not be doing contractor work, including lying about the cost of the materials after I had already paid him thousands of dollars for those materials. Needless to say, I am meeting with other reputable companies to finish the job.

So, I decided to get the entire interior painted this spring. After reading reviews on the Willow Glen e-List recommendation page, and checking yelp, I decided to call Pride Painting based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I met with them to do the quote and they were thorough. They quote came in and it was right in line with what I was willing to pay. So, I hired them. They seemed like good people and I felt like they were really paying attention to what I wanted. They patiently waited for me to try and match one color for days, and were helpful in selecting a new paint when we didn't get an exact match. Overall, they did an amazing job and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs painting done. They were patient, reliable and did high quality work. Also, I have curved ceilings in the family room and dining room. When we bought the house they were the same color as the walls. So, the next painter did the same. Jose and Lou suggested I paint them white, like normal rooms. So, I tried it and WOW - what a difference. It has made a huge improvement in the look and feel of the room. I was so impressed with their knowledge and suggestion - they aren't just painters, they care about the overall feel and look of their work. I highly recommend them!!
