Made an appointment with me for 11am. I messaged at 10:50am to confirm. Said they were running late and would arrive at 11:30. At 11:35, I called, they said they were in San Jose with a job. I understand things may happen and a job may run late, but to basically say you are running late and then not even update me you are even later or cannot make it is a poor business practices. I hope you improve your schedule keeping abilities, otherwise you may loose more business. read more

Lots of good things to say, but a couple of concerns I should convey. Price was right. Easy to work with. Didn't mark up the price of materials. Good communication. Saw the job through to completion. However, he failed to remove the garbage disposal plug, so my dishwasher wouldn't drain. I figured it out and took care of it myself. He damaged the porcelain on our kitchen sink and said nothing about it. To be fair, the old faucet was very difficult to remove, and I should be able to touch up the damage. Ideally, he would have done this himself. If, like me, you want a good price and can work through some issues that might come up, then you might want to give this guy a try. read more

The owner came by initially. He advertises he does windows but told me he was going to "hook me up" with a "friend" who would do them, and that he (JC owner) would call me within 30 min. Two days later he still hasn't called. Somebody else left a message yesterday asking for my phone number but he hasn't called back, either. Apparently this business has no respect for anyone else's time and their worked means absolutely nothing. Why would I hire you when so far all you or your "hook-ups" have done is lie? Save yourself the disrespect and grief. Call somebody that actually has a sense of how to treat people who are eager to spend their hard-earned money... on a company that at least PRETENDS to care.. read more

Roma showed up on time with his 50ft ladder,Gorilla glue gun, and drill to secure exterior siding on the second floor next to the fireplace.. He finished the job in less than an hour and there is no more daylight shining thru the attic. He was the first to show up and confident with his solution even having to go on the roof to finish screwing in the very top portion of the trim...Will use him again. read more

We tore out an old vanity with a single sink to put in a new one with two. We quickly realized we did not have the skill set to install the additional plumbing, and put out requests on Yelp. Roma responded quickly, came out to the house to see the project, and gave us a bid on the spot. He was substantially less expensive than other bid we got (which was not going to be done to code). Roma sent two guys out to do the job, and they were efficient and polite, and did beautiful work! We had already shiplapped and painted, and they managed to cut out the shiplap where they needed to run plumbing, then put it back when they were done. All this happened at the beginning of the year, when Felton was getting hammered by the winter rains. We had to postpone the project twice due to the power being out, and Roma was entirely flexible with rescheduling. We will definitely contact Roma for future projects! Highly recommend!!! read more

I have hired Roma before and was pleased with the speed and quality of his and his helper's work, which is why he is getting more than 1 star. This time, Roma came out to estimate some minor work that I needed, maybe 2 hours worth, and gave me a very reasonable estimate, which I agreed to. He said that he would call me the next Monday morning to let me know what time he'd be at my place to do the work. I didn't hear from him on Monday and sent him a text that evening. He texted that the next week on Tuesday would be better for him. Then the next week he said it would be Saturday before he could do the work. Then when I didn't hear from him on Saturday I called him and he was coughing so I said he shouldn't come by if he was sick. I sent him a text the following Tuesday and it's been crickets. Not a word. Roma may be experienced and skilled at his work but if he isn't available, doesn't communicate and his word means nothing, then his business might as well not exist, as far as I'm concerned. read more
