He removed some cabinets at either end of the room, replaced some damaged dry wall, put in new manufactured wood flooring, painted, fixed some electrical issues, and also did a few other jobs for me. He cleaned up the site, hauled off debris, and was a joy to work with. With Ben, no job seemed too small or too large, his approach to everything I asked of him was dealt with willingness and skill, and I would highly recommend him to others who need jobs done around the house.

The two guys at rent-a-husband that did the work were really nice guys. The problem is, I don't…read morebelieve they have the experience to be doing what they are doing. They charge $75 an hour for regular handyman contractor work and $125 an hour for plumbing and electrical. When I questioned them, they said they were licensed contractors, general, plumbing and electrical. That made me feel comfortable with their abilities. The electrical project I had them work on had to two with a breaker tripping. They spent 4 hours and never fixed it but billed me $500. I had another electrician come out who billed me $90 an hour and he fixed it in less than 4 hours. Then there was the plumbing. I told them I had a tub that leaked and had damaged sheetrock on the roof below. Their solution was to get some spray foam to spray around the opening at the base of the faucet. Then they repaired the sheetrock. The problem is, the spray foam wasn't water proof, and the tub leaked again. I had another plumber come out and it turns out it was the spray nozzle on the faucet that was leaking. I just need to get a new faucet. Now I have to have the sheet rock on the ceiling below torn out and re-done. They also replaced a bowl wax on a toilet and it is leaking again. I asked them for their license numbers and it turns out Rent-a-husband is licensed under a man named Wes Koenig, but Ben and Brad, the two men that do the work are not licensed themselves. They may have the skills for general handyman work like hanging pictures and moving furniture but I don't think they are qualified to do plumbing and electrical. In total I spent about $5,000 and everything has to be redone. I tried to resolve my issues with the owner of the company and he gave me the runaround. I feel like I was totally taken advantage of and I do not recommend that anyone use their services.
