So happy we stumbled upon this little campground. Out of all the campgrounds we visited this summer (including Jellystone in Mt. Gilead), this was the kids favorite. I felt safe letting them ride their bikes and play at the playground. It is close to anything you'd need and about a 25 minute drive to Old Man's Cave. We also had a small issue (which turned into a non-issue) in the beginning with someone else plugged into our 30 amp and the lady at the office couldn't have been nicer and took care of everything right away. When I arrived, we were escorted to the site and given a quick overview of their offerings. The store onsite offered a variety of things and the Pizza and Wings were pretty good. The bathroom was clean but could use an additional bench or hook to prevent personal items from touching the wet floor. We were able to easily set up and clean up. Will definitely return.

The entire region is very cool with quaint local towns like Logan, Nelsonsville and others. Plenty of stuff to explore in a hilly and beautiful area of Ohio. The KOA is large and spreads out over small valley. The facilities are clean and updated.. campsites are close but the terraced hills make it seem more spacious. They have a nice pool and a cleaver "old west" style panning for gemstones setup that kids really were using. We had a great time

The campsites had a small bundle of wood for a campfire and they were really well spaced out so you don't feel that you are right on top of the next site. Updated review. We…read morewent back in October to give them another chance. They definitely made some improvements. They added stone along the parking pads to make it easier to get into the sites. They also added some gravel around the fire pits so it's not muddy. And this time we had kids with us, so we checked out the game room and it was very nice. It had a few video games, ping pong, and cornhole. And the staff is super nice. They definitely still have some more work to do, but they are making progress. Just be sure to book the premium sites since they are flatter.

The spots are a less level staying on the far right side of park but manageable. The area is hilly in general. They have a trail about 1 mile down to the lake. Kayaks available for rent. Laundry room and ice/wood available as well. Office is always nice and consistent. Game room and bounce house for kids upstairs. The dog park was very small maybe .2 acre but they do have the trail that we enjoyed walking.

Loved cooking over a campfire, drinking fresh coffee in the morning (provided!) and hiking around their gorgeous property. They have a community bonfire area and it was so nice sitting by the fire and meeting some new people. The tent was totally gorgeous. There are tons of amenities and restaurants nearby in Logan so if you don't want to fuss with cooking over a fire - you can just go to a restaurant. This was a very fun, romantic experience. The cabin was small, cozy and spotlessly clean - we had a great time and loved the hot tub and hiking the surrounding area. Loved how close it was to all the major attractions and hiking spots - and liked the fact that there's no cell service or Internet so it's truly a tech-free getaway. This time, we came down for some winter hiking and stayed in cabin #3. We loved it even more! Slightly bigger with a separate upstairs loft bedroom that our daughter just LOVED. I don't know how Cindy and her team of cleaning elves keep these cabins so spotless - truly cleaner than home! Loved the slightly larger kitchen in #3 and adorable eat-in breakfast nook. We hiked down to Ash Cave and Cedar Falls and enjoyed the gorgeous frozen waterfalls even without any snow in sight. This is a little slice of heaven - so close to Columbus, so pet friendly and SUCH a true getaway deep in the heart of natural beauty. We'll be back!

We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows for s'mores. The only two complaints are that the bed was very uncomfortable and we each were only given ONE wash cloth to use for the entire time we were there. I hiked 13 miles on Saturday. More towels would have been nice.

The guides were Ian and Kyle, they are super smart and helpful. Their patience is what we needed and received. At our age, safety is a big concern. These folks ensure it and restored our confidence. Not an easy task. We are talking seriously of coming back and doing the X tour. We now have another destination for next year. I know it shouldn't be said, so I left it for last. I truly believe Yelp's silly ass policy of no selfies should be changed.
