Stopped in for lunch after hiking and had the chicken salad sandwich. It was very satisfying. Nothing fancy but very good. Service was attentive, and the inn is very cute. A little on the pricey side for what I got, but it's a tourist area, so that's to be expected.

We are here for one night, booked last minute for the cottage, fortunately it's for Wednesday night, they still have room! After 3 hour drive from home then afternoon hike, we checked in this place. The room is super nice, have two very comfortable rocking chair, and king bed. And a jacuzzi, microwave and fridge. Everything you need they have it. Even bath robe! The deck also has a swing! Very comfortable! I love this place! Very clean and nicely decorated! Highly recommended!

We spent a weekend in one of the cottages at the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls and it far exceeded our expectations. We walked in from a cold January day and were immediately greeted by the warm embrace of our cozy cottage. It took no time for me to start the gas fireplace and run the water to the two person soaking tub and become enveloped in the beautiful scenery around me. After a glass of wine in the tub, I threw on one of the two provided soft robes and cozied up in our king bed and took the best nap of my life. I still had a bottle of wine to finish so when I woke up, I wrapped myself in blankets and sat out on the back porch swing to take in some woodland views. The back porches of the cottages extend the whole length of the cottage and there's no shortage of places to sit and enjoy the views. Kindred Spirits, the on site restaurant is also a gem. Rustic in every good way possible, the food and drinks are fantastic. I can always appreciate a good Old Fashioned, and Kindred Spirits delivered. We were lucky enough to eat here for dinner & breakfast and were highly impressed with the food and unbelievable hospitality. The hospitality also extends to their spa where we were warmly welcomed by staff and enjoyed some amazing massages. If you're looking to spend a weekend away for some R&R I cannot recommend The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls enough. It was truly unforgettable for me and I cannot wait to return.

Loved our stay in our yurt!! We wanted to get away and I've wanted to stay in a yurt here. We were able to find a weekend available on their easy-to-use reservation system. Loved that they have a charging station for our electric car, and from there it's an easy walk to the yurts. Ours was named the Firefly and was clean and wonderful! It had a push-button start stove to help heat the room with two rocking chairs in front of it. There's a small kitchen with everything you need from a microwave to mugs and wine glasses, small frig, coffee maker, and a small counter with stool. I loved all the woodwork too! The bathroom is open above which may not be optimal for some people, but it wasn't for us. This was a perfect getaway for us!

This is Justine! Welcome to a wonderful dinner, atmosphere and spectacular service complete with lots of smiles.

The Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls, in the Hocking Hills region of Southern Ohio exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was chic and rustic. Very well done. Felt warm and cozy. The food was wonderful! Wife had the scallops and being an East coast girl is picky about her sea food. In fact I doubt she would had scallops in a Midwest city had it not been the sounds of tasty jubilation coming from the table next to us. My wife loved them and wanted to come back the next night. I had the ribeye that met this Husker's expectations for beefy excellence. I had my sights set on the hot lava chocolate cake. Wife has my waist's best interest, and will be a victory for another day. And to conclude Justine, was a wonderful host of events...a real pleasure. Highly recommend!

Reserved dinner for my family at the inn restaurant, sometimes called Kindred Spirits. Wow The atmosphere and food match each other for Experience Points! The old old old cabins are connected and converted to a comfortable dining space. We started with the cheese ball and dip combo (the tiny roasts are amazing!) Went to tomato basil soup and then we diverted into the filet, Bleu salad and scallops. I've never had a better scallop in my life. Texture, temperature, all of it perfect. I also highly recommend the apply blackberry crisp.

Had a massage in the spa and it was the best I ever had. Then went to dinner at the Cedar Inn Restaurant. Fabulous dinner in a quaint cabin. Service was impeccable. They genuinely seemed glad you were there. I had the salmon and it was divine. Don't miss this stop!

Smoothie bowl for breakfast. Hubbie got pancakes, eggs and turkey sausage. Delish.

Outstanding! We we live in a super touristy town so every time we travel, we look for a unique out of the way place to have dinner. We stayed at the Little B Inn in Nelsonville and booked a reservation @ the Inn Cedar Falls. We actually started with breakfast there before a day of hiking. It's was very good but not amazing mostly because we had to ask for everything. Can we have cream, sugar, more coffee, salt and pepper? Other than that the breakfast was delicious. We drove back for dinner. Well for once I'm kind of speechless. It's the kind of meal that you just don't forget. You think back and smile to yourself. Our waiter Mike was perfectly suited for his job. He was always there when we needed him and also gave us some great tips on his personal favorite dessert the cake with caramel and vanilla bean ice cream I had the salmon and my husband got the strip steak. Both were incredible. Seriously, how do they put THAT caliber of food out of their tiny kitchen? It's magical. Prices are reasonable as you get so much food. My only criticism is the margarita mix doesn't belong in this five star restaurant. Maybe switch it for fresh lime juice? This is by far my favorite place to eat in Ohio. Go here. You'll love it.

Newer LG appliances (filtered water & ice maker in the fridge was a plus), cool bathroom, cozy oversized chair, great fireplace on rear covered deck and amazing rockers w/cup holders on front and rear porches. Now upon opening the door, the first thing I said was, "WOW! That's a weird smell." Unfortunately, we were smelling sewer smells the entire time we were there. I contacted the email from the site the first night and they responded the next day. While I was in the bathroom tub (shades open) a gentleman put his ladder on the side of the bathroom window and started climbing up, while someone chatted with my husband at the door. Needless to say I was mortified and embarrassed that we weren't initially made aware that someone was coming until after they had arrived. The person climbing the ladder definitely got an eye full.....Anyway, they said the vent pipes weren't removed once the cabins construction was done and the traps may have gotten dry. We heard them sawing something & then they left soon after. We ran water, as instructed after they cut the tops off the pipes and were advised Joey would be back with a top to cover another pipe on the roof. The smell initially got a little better, but within a couple hours it was back full force. We again contacted Rob again, who sent Joey back out to address the issue. This time, he put bleach down the drains, gave a can of fabreeze, a pumpkin candle and 2 renuzit toilet scents. Now, we had been burning candles in all the rooms from the moment we arrived and kept the front & rear doors open to try and air out the smell. NONE of that helped. It even began to stink outside, so no handing out on the front or rear porch unless we needed cell signal. So although the thought was nice, 1 single wick candle, 1 can of fabreeze and some toilet scents were NOT going to cut it. The smell was not as strong after the bleach, but never did go away. In fact, when we ran the dishwasher before leaving, the smell returned full force throughout the cabin, especially in the bathroom and rear porch area. THE SMELL ALONE RUINED OUR ATTEMPTED ROMANTIC GETAWAY. While I appreciate them trying to solve this issue, there wasn't any follow-up to confirm resolution. I had to keep updating Rob. At least Rob did say he was "sorry it's doing what it's doing" regarding the odor. Honestly, I cannot begin to explain to you how utterly disgusting it is to constantly smell sewage inside and in the immediate surrounding exterior of one's "luxury retreat." Not once in the decade plus of coming to HH have we EVER had this happen......we've stayed with MANY companies, but this is a first. Lastly a few things could have been done better. When we arrived, it would have been nice if the front and rear covered decks were swept. There was a lot of dead bugs, leaves & bottle caps from alcohol (ppl before us) laying around on the decks. I swept that up myself, not a deal breaker. There were excessive dead bugs on the living room floor - I also swept up, not a deal breaker we're in the woods. The issue is that it made me question how clean the cabin actually was. Therefore, I took it upon myself to clean the cabin with the products I'd brought to be sure. The hot tub, while up to temp at 102 degrees had brownish grey water and looked filthy. VERY UNINVITING, especially when the pool chemicals were neatly portioned out and could have been dumped into the tub when it was prepped for the next guest. I get that the water may be discolored from minerals, but this was just a dirty hot tub. I make that assumption as when we took off the lid, there wasn't even the faintest hint of chemicals from the water (which one can usually smell when they've been added) upon removal of the lid. Overall, we wanted to love this cabin, but didn't. The constant, horrendous sewer smell was a deal breaker and for the cost, I NEVER EVER expected to have an unresolved odor issue continue

One word for the water.....SULFUR. The water was so bad that it ended up turning all our sterling jewelry orange, and that was bad considering we only bathed twice. :O With all the water treatment options available now and with what you had installed downstairs for water treatment it was too bad about our jewelry and the odor. Hope our jewelry can be fixed! No hand towel rings. There are several places to mount a towel holder by the bathroom sink. Also.... no place to set your toiletry supply bag. Hard for the ladies especially. Lack of dinnerware. Only 2 ceramic dinner sized plates and the rest were tin. Really? Dollar Tree has some really nice ceramic plates for $1 each. Light bulb out on ceiling fan and the whole place is dim so you need all the light you can get. Kitchen would REALLY benefit from light strips under the cabinets. No light at all in shower. Could hardly see to bathe! Also need a lighted vent fan in bathroom. No sponge or kitchen dishrag of any kind to hand wash dishes. Need at least a sponge there and more than just one dish towel. The cabins seem older and a bit neglected, but ours was clean. The bathroom has a nice garden tub with windows and a partial glass ceiling facing the woods. The sky was clear the nights we were there, so we could see the stars through the glass panels! I think when the leaves are on the trees the view of the stars would be obstructed. Unfortunately the hot water tank wasn't working properly the first night and morning, so we didn't enjoy the garden tub (or luke warm showers!) But it was fixed within an hour of us mentioning the problem. There's a nice gas 3 -sided fireplace, a small kitchen with eating area for two (no oven-just a stove top), a couple of wicker chairs with cushions. The bedroom area enjoys a view of the fireplace and has a dresser, bed and nightstand. We live this area and the cabin was within 10 minutes or less of Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave and Cedar Falls. The property the cabins are situated on is scenic and we enjoyed walking quite a ways with the dogs right outside our door!

On our second night we went to go to bed at 10 PM and pulled back the covers and bed bugs scattered. I called Mrs Montgomery and told her about the problem and she offered no help and no recommendations about where we could find a clean place to stay at 10 PM on a Saturday night and she responded that maybe the Holiday Inn Express. She made no effort to help us or cared about our situation. I managed to capture one of the bed bugs and left it in the sink for them; on Monday after the cabin had been cleaned they had their exterminator come out and wrote a report of no live or dead bed bugs (what happened to the one floating in the sink?). and no bed bug activity. I asked for a full refund and was told that we stayed at that disgusting place Friday night and during the day Saturday so they were not going to refund any of our money. So my wife and I are just out $472.23, Happy Anniversary to us!! We found accommodations at midnight at a clean hotel in Columbus, OH, I recommend you stay away from this proprietor and we left the complimentary bible.

The cover on the tub was made by owners, it's not the regular one that you just fold, it's VERY hard to take it off and put it back on. When you sign the contract they will warn that if you break it they will charge you a fee. There's no dishwasher. No closets or chests to put your stuff. No blankets. The futon is VERY uncomfortable and old. The only heating system was the gas fireplace and of course all the heat naturally went up, so upstairs in the bedroom was hot as hell but downstairs was very cold. Also if you check out one minute late, you will be charged too. I spent 20 minutes signing their contract and listening to their numerous warnings There are other 2 cabins next to each other, so there is no privacy. We've been to other cabins through different owners in this is the worst one.
