So happy we stumbled upon this little campground. Out of all the campgrounds we visited this summer (including Jellystone in Mt. Gilead), this was the kids favorite. I felt safe letting them ride their bikes and play at the playground. It is close to anything you'd need and about a 25 minute drive to Old Man's Cave. We also had a small issue (which turned into a non-issue) in the beginning with someone else plugged into our 30 amp and the lady at the office couldn't have been nicer and took care of everything right away. In order to use the fire pit, you must purchase their fire wood which is inconvenient as well. They have a hidden fee for cleaning your cabin if you don't sweep the floor before you leave. They have a swimming pool which is smaller but we still enjoyed it. The office's hours are 10-7, which sucked for our attempt at an early checkout and on the road. The kitchen was closed our entire stay so we weren't able to order food here. We liked the cornhole which was next to our cabin. Another note is that the WiFi is absolutely terrible and will drop your devices constantly and only operates at 2G. The driveway up to the KOA also is super hard on your vehicle. This campground was close enough to hikes at Hocking Hills but we probably wouldn't stay ever again.

The campsites had a small bundle of wood for a campfire and they were really well spaced out so you don't feel that you are right on top of the next site. The spots are a less level staying on the far right side of park but manageable. The area is hilly in general. They have a trail about 1 mile down to the lake. Kayaks available for rent. Laundry room and ice/wood available as well. Office is always nice and consistent. Game room and bounce house for kids upstairs. The dog park was very small maybe .2 acre but they do have the trail that we enjoyed walking.

Not any mature trees in the rv area but this park is fairly new, the dump site as you exit is on a incline so I would be concerned about getting my tanks empty but we're on a full hookup site. If I had young children with me not sure how much they would like being here as roads are narrow but paved, they do have stuff for kids and a fenced dog park, they have one of those huge air bags kids jump on which seems to be quite popular. All in all it's a clean and quiet park with friendly staff. No discounts as in veteran/aarp/aaa etc and again rv sites only shade you get is from your awning as trees need to mature a bit but we've been quite content here, no seasonal sites up all night partying. Here visiting family and we will stay here again when we return but again we're just two older adults who want a peaceful site without confusion.

They have a community bonfire area and it was so nice sitting by the fire and meeting some new people. The tent was totally gorgeous. There are tons of amenities and restaurants nearby in Logan so if you don't want to fuss with cooking over a fire - you can just go to a restaurant. This was a very fun, romantic experience. The sites are large with beautiful views, and the entire campground is very clean and well kept. The shower rooms are wonderful: private and very clean. Definitely the best showers I have ever seen at a campground. The showers are like hotel showers! There are RV sites, tent sites, and also cabins available. The sites and amenities are much nicer here than the nearby state park campgrounds. It is an easy drive to the state park, to the marina, and also a beach just a mile down the road. It was very quiet at night. A peaceful camping experience. A Walmart is only a mile away, and a great Mexican restaurant is across the street. This is a perfect location and we will definitely stay here the next time we are visiting Hocking Hills. Highly recommended!
