This studio just has this great feeling stepping in the place, it's welcoming, and you can't help but feel kind of appreciated for coming in. They are excited to have you there! I'm always glad I came to class, even if I was tired and not in the mood to go, it starts my day off in a positive and grateful way. Stress reliever, and gives me energy after.

Any business prioritizes money but, this location only cares about the bottom line. People are accounts not humans. I imagine that mentality starts at the top. EDIT/Response to Business: This review is definitely about Parkway Central in Arlington. Not sure why the owner wants to check my location & try to discredit my review. DFW is fairly large and blends together. I rarely bother to review unless I feel it's been an extreme disservice. I have no interest in further communication. You had plenty of opportunities to make things right. The studio runs amazing because of those doing the real work on the floor. You'll be fine. Just do better. Period.

July we were told that new management was coming that following Monday. I show up Monday no one there lights off doors locked. No explanation try reaching out to D1 no response for about 2-3 weeks. Finally we get a call stating that their new management and they will be starting class back up and that we would have the weeks missed added to the end of the contract. Well everything was fine until December 12 when I get a text message telling me classes were canceled. I called and spoke with Corey and he stated that the facility was going to be closing for renovations. I already knew something was up. The space is small what more can they do to it. Well, he told me that we will be getting an email from corporate about what going on and that we will be getting refunds. I did receive an email from corporate that Sunday night telling me another lie about what they're doing and how they plan to reopen in 6 weeks but that we were going to be getting a refund by the end of the week. That was December 15 and today is Jan 16 and I still have yet to receive anything from D1. I have sent emails with no response. I called the Frisco location which is were Corey from Firewheel D1 went to. He told me that refunds had been refunded, but after talking to some the other clients that also attended D1 Firewheel they have not yet received their refund either. I've reached out to corporate no response the number for corporate on the website for immediate assistance goes straight to voicemail. I really thought highly of D1 the trainers were all great. But, the owners they don't care about us. They only care about lining their pockets.

I was at an unhealthy weight and had not been exercising for quite some time. How was I ever going to get thru this? The exercises were extremely challenging for me at first, but as I continued to attend I found myself enjoying it more and more. I didn't give up... I stuck with it. I started off going 3 days a week and that quickly turned into five. In October 2012, when the weather was changing...I made the choice to go to Raven's Get Fit! Exclusive Indoor Bootcamp and I also made the choice to get a gym membership so I could train privately with Raven throughout the winter. Fast forward to February 2013. I now work out 6 days a week. I have successfully completed (2) 5K Mudd Runs, as well as (3) 5K races, and I am currently training for my very first 10K race. I have dropped 3 pant sizes, lost approximately 60 pounds, lost a little more than half my body fat, and several inches. I am literally half the person I was 6 months ago. Raven is an amazing motivator and an excellent instructor. She teachers you proper form, and she cares about her clients. She takes it extremely serious. Not only does Raven use a positive push she also provides you with the necessary nutritional information to guide you along the way & to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle. She has taught me that the first thing you have to do is retrain your mind and the body will follow. I found that the 3 Day Fat Destruction diet really works and that it isn't that hard to follow. I did follow this diet about 99% of the time and I am still seeing results from it. In fact, it makes me feel really good knowing that I am doing everything I can to get the best results and make a habit of this for life! I have gained a new confidence in myself that I never had. Raven's classes are for anybody that needs a self confidence boost to get them going. Once you do Raven's Get Fit! Boot Camp, you will have the ability and confidence to do any type of fitness program. And it doesn't just help with your fitness; seeing improvements in your physical self will motivate you in other areas of your life. This year I have a whole new motivatior on top of what I already had...I got engaged over the Holidays 2012 and I am getting married in September of 2013...I can hardly wait to put a wedding dress on and I owe that all to Raven. Not only have a found an amazing trainer, I have made a special bond with somebody who I now consider one of my dearest friends. Come jump on the "Get Fit! Bootcamp" Wagon...it's an amazing journey!

When I signed up in May 2012, I only planned on doing the first 5 weeks. After the first week with Raven, I was hooked! The best thing about this class is that people of all levels sign up and it is designed for all levels. If you cant do an exercise, a modified version or alternate is provided. I never felt like i didn't belong in the class. If you are more advanced, the workouts are still challenging and you never feel like you are stuck waiting for others to finish. I love the format and the workouts in this class! I did the first year(may-nov) with Raven. Raven was an excellent instructor and very encouraging! She is very knowledgeable when it comes to providing you with an awesome full body workout! I decided not to do the indoor Bootcamp because it was in Keller and I couldn't fit it into my schedule. I tried another indoor Bootcamp through groupon but it just didn't compare to the get fit boot camps. I started again in March 2013 with the outdoor boot camps. Caitlin was the new trainer set to start at the Saginaw location. She has exceeded my expectations for this past year of Bootcamp. She was motivating and started holding me accountable for being at class. I loved the new motivation! She helped me to push myself to a new level of fitness this year! Her workouts are challenging and addicting! I found myself wanting to go to Bootcamp instead of dragging myself there. If you are looking to start working out and are interested in trying a Bootcamp I highly recommend Get fit Bootcamp!

I signed up for sessions and was told I could choose from 3 different tiers so I chose the $230 package and Javon signed up on his computer, and I was not able to see anything other than signing the boxes on the pen pad. I trusted him. He told me he could not print out the contract because the printer didn't work, but that I would get it via email. The initial first were fine but Once their charge of $440 hit my card, I found out most of the trainers were on vacation or out of the country so I could not get help so I had to wait till everyone got back and still could not get assistance getting a copy of my contract so that I could point out the error. Nothing was ever emailed to me. I could not get someone at the front desk to help me, even though I came by in person, and I had also called. Then their facility manager left/quit and I finally was able to speak to a guy that was leaving LA Fitness at the Sachse location to go to college, but he told me that I could talk to the new manager, Claire and she would be able to help me. He was also nice enough to provide me the LA Fitness headquarters phone number that nobody else would share with me. At this point another $440 charge hit my card and once I finally did speak to Claire she told me she did not have access to the system to assist me! So then I spoke to Javon again (once he came back from vacation) and found out that he had typed my email address wrong. So after having him correct it -at that point you would think I would get the contract but I did not and still no assistance correcting the overcharge for the pt package. So then I called their headquarters and I spoke to Antonio and he told me he would assist me and he would talk to Javon and they would get everything worked out. And Then. Nothing no emails no callbacks nothing. So then I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get the amount lowered to the amount I had agreed to. And Then my trainer, Debbie reached out to me asking me if I would schedule my remaining sessions that I had been charged for and I said, "sure. " Then she tells me that because I filed the credit card claim that their computer system would not let her schedule any sessions. Mind you, I did not file a credit card dispute other than the additional charge they shouldn't have charged me. They were still going to get their $230 for my sessions instead of $440, but LA Fitness still locked me out of their system and now I'm out that money because now that the credit card company has finalized that dispute and gave them $230, I will not get my money back nor will I get the sessions LA fitness owes me. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and I highly recommend you sign up with caution and make sure you walk out of there with a printed contract or don't sign anything. They are not honest, nor professional. Highly disappointed.
