The previous location was already in a run-down part of Arlington, and this one isn't much of an improvement. On top of that, I was VERY disappointed to hear they will no longer have a kids club at the new location. I never received a heads-up or saw any posts mentioning this, and as a parent, that would have been nice to know at the VERY least. If you didn't like the previous location, you will definitely not like this one. The owner also has a temper, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. I've been a loyal customer for years, and now I have to go look elsewhere for a local gym.

First, I wanted to give a little background about my gym history before the review to help add a…read morelittle weight to the review. I had tried out 3 other Gym's similar to G6 before I started at their gym in this area. The other gyms although I enjoyed, didn't feel it had the same professionalism where each trainer really knew their stuff at G6 and it felt like family after getting to know everyone. Results: I ended up putting on 20lbs of muscle while at G6 over a few months getting into the best shape of my life (under 5% Body fat) and it also felt more a like a family atmosphere which meant a lot to me personally. I have also sent several friends there that felt similar. Why G6? I almost went the personal training route but it wasn't in my budget for that level of 1 on 1 which is why I went hunting. At G6, you get to have the coaches for questions/watching your workouts similar to a personal trainer, excellent programming to fit your needs, professionalism, and a great atmosphere with the other individuals you workout with which helps with encouragement. I started going to this Perfect Workout Location pretty soon after it opened, and I have really…read moreenjoyed it from the standpoint of convenience and effectiveness. I used to go to a regular gym and workout on the Nautilus machines, but what I really lacked was the time that seemed to be required, and my interest fell off after years of being a bit of a "gym rat". Well, two knee replacements and 5 years later, I was experiencing a serious bout of out-of-shape-ness and was also suffering from a lack of energy and my metabolism had really fallen off from losing muscle over the years. At age 58, I was not ready to let myself go, but was not wanting to go back to the gym and do things on my own. I responded to a mailer about the Perfect Workout and signed up immediately, and wanted to commit myself to 6 months and see what happens. I KNEW I could do anything for 20 minutes, and once you get going, and don't spend too much time talking to the friendly trainers, then you can do it in 20 minutes, but your time is actually 30 minutes, so you are not really rushed at any time. The trainers there have all been great, and I've had to get to know at least 5 of them in the past year and a half as they come and go, but each time I have felt that they are ALL good and all pretty professional and seem to know the Perfect Workout technique more than adequately. And they are also there for you with lots of encouragement and also nutritional coaching if you would like. I gave this rating 4 out of 5 stars mainly because the studio itself is not what one might think of as a state-of-the-art facility right now. It is in an office park, but the machines are all clean and well maintained, as is the space. The air is always clean and fresh (thank goodness!) and again, I stress that the trainers there really make the most of the set up and the routine, and they are very organized about scheduling and following up with you. And also very reasonable and flexible when you need to adjust your appointment time. I've been going there for 20 months now and I have been very happy with the results. I have met my goals, and now am just going to maintain my muscle and fight middle age, all in 20 minutes twice a week. It's in a part of town with lots around, so I always get errands done while I'm over that way, because you don't have to dress in "gym clothes" to do this workout. Just sensible, comfortable clothes. What a godsend!! My energy is great now, and I went down two sized and lost about 20 pounds in these 20 months. (I also got REALLY careful about my eating, I have to be honest!!)

The instructors tailor to every student and their needs all while conducting an organized respected class. The only reason why I give it four stars is because there is always room for improvement: I don't completely agree with the way the belts are "earned" by showing up and more discipline could be implemented. However, they do provide one of the most encouraging environments. My partner even says that she feels like she's been through a spiritual counseling by the time she leaves. All in all, we absolutely love the academy. We can see it in our son's eyes that Master Waugh is not just his instructor, but a mentor. This is more than just another Jiu Jitsu academy; it's a family.

She was very nice and very informative. We ended up signing up for a session. The day we came for it happened to be the anniversary of their opening, so they had food and drinks. That was fun. We also met the fellow who owns this and another Stretch Lab. Nice man. We had our sessions and our Flexologists were well trained and did a good job with each of us. We ended up making another appointment and just had them today. Once again, the Flexologists did a great job. We'll continue to return the Stretch Lab as long as we feel our bodies are benefiting from it.
