I decided to sign up since they had a special going on at the first of the year. I  finally went…read morethere for the first time the other day (thb I am also a member of 2 other gyms) so that's why it took me so long to visit. It was a Saturday morning about 10am and the gym was not busy which is good. I only went to do cardio which they have a ton of machines there (treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes) and they even have a few upstairs so you can watch people below you (weird). This probably isn't a helpful review since I haven't explored each and every area of the gym, but suffice to say they seem to have adequate weights and space, a HIIT area and decent machines for those that don't like free weights. They have childcare (extra$) and a smoothie bar or something like that which I didn't try. next time I may actually perform a full workout so I can provide a more helpful review. The hours aren't too bad. Check the website to be sure. Please note that the basic rate of 9.99 pretty much only gives you access to walk in and work out. If you require any of the additional features or need a trainer, that comes with the addition packages or additional costs. There are also additional costs associated with the 9.99 membership so just be sure you understand all the small print. When I was there, I did not see any sweaty guys with no shirts on the machines, nor could I detect any grunting or sounds that resemble ancient man taking down a mastodon. I didn't hear any clanging and banging or weights being dropped and someone yelling like they got hot sauce in their eye so its a relatively safe place if you fear creatures that fall lower on the evolutionary scale. This is definitely not a "hardcore" gym. Temperature was cool enough to keep bacteria from replicating. They have fancy trash cans which have wipes built in to them and I was able to wipe down my equipment. as far as how busy they are, I probably should go there on ICD and see how many people are there.  (for those of you that don't know, ICD is "international chest day" or Monday to the layperson). Most of this, like I said, was not informative. I would suggest going by there and making your own determination. If you are someone wanting to get in better shape and have never worked out, this place may be ideal for you. if you are an experienced fitness enthusiast  then they may lack a few things to support your fitness journey.

It's a nice place to work out until staff approaches you with sales pitch. I get that his job is sales but when you are being aggressive and forceful when a young woman says no she does not want to sign up for training, and he kept asking "why, why, why" then that's a problem. He would not take no for an answer and would not leave her alone. I have emailed corporate and no I do not want to go to the location and speak to anyone there. I want a phone call from corporate. Cody needs sales training and learn the meaning of "no". My daughter in law also told him she is unemployed and yet he still was pretty much forcing her to pay for training she clearly did not want.

The biggest thing we appreciated was their honestly about factors to consider when seriously thinking about opening a business. They did not sugar coat the facts and gave us helpful outlines to consider when working with lawyers, real estate agents, and banks. We appreciated their extremely high standard for quality and consistency when it comes to preparing coffee & selecting beans. The staff was very down to earth and helped answer all of the random questions we had. We would definitely recommend the course to a friend. If you are seriously considering opening a coffee shop, this will be the best investment you could make before getting started.

I've never made an espresso before and after the training, I feel like I have a better appreciation on all the little things good coffee shops do. The class is a nice mix of science and hands on training. Robert and Claire were wonderful teachers and they made the class easy to learn. Word of advice, don't drink any coffee before hand, there will be plenty for you there... and they are really tasty. So if you are looking to become a barista, or want to see what's it like to use those fancy espresso machines, or you just want to elevate your coffee skillz, go take this class. You won't be disappointed.
