Enough is Enough I've been a member here for about 10 years, and the outdoor hot tub is CONSTANTLY broken or closed. And guess what? They never bother to update the app when it's shut down. You show up, pay their ever-increasing fees, and the amenities you came for are just... unavailable. And suddendlty the hot top ( when is working) is closed at sunset... since when? I've complained to the front desk multiple times, and absolutely nothing changes. It feels like they don't fix things until people blast it publicly. For a gym this expensive, this level of upkeep and communication is ridiculous. read more

I love Lifetime but their price increases are ridiculous. A smoothie in the cafe used to cost $6, it's $10 plus tax now. I think I've mentioned this before but a pizza that's a little bit bigger than a personal pan pizza is $18 and this was just a cheese pizza, which unpicked up one day for my son who was home (no I didn't eat a pizza after working out, lol). Also, all of the classes that work for the working persons schedule have been removed from the schedule. I do like some of the upgrades and new equipment which may be the reason for the price increases but geesh! Lifetime is definitely in a league of their own and you really get a different experience than the other local gyms but I just don't understand the continues price increases for something that was never 'cheap' to begin with. read more

I was a member of Lifetime Mansfield for 6 years and I have finally cancelled my membership after their never-ending membership increased fees. It is beyond ridiculous. They charge for their so-called upgrades to the facility whether you use them or not, everything in the cafe is way overpriced as well as in their Life spa. Many times the hot tub or cold plunge is not available for use. often times the app was not working. For a gym that cost a ridiculous amount of money, it should be 200% excellent, which it is far from it. I have mentioned these complaints before on their surveys and was told by one of the managers, Brian that I should not have said those comments on the survey, very unprofessional. I'm so glad that I have joined a new gym with a large variety of classes that I enjoy and the best part is I'm saving $100 a month. Joined summer of 2025. Wasn't impressed at first with all the equipment, it's outdated not really what I needed & lo and behold I had had a previous membership when I first moved to TX in 2015. Within a matter of a 2/3months I've seen lots of maintenance. They also take the time to listen to all their costumers. The trainers are really nice and easy to approach. It's not pretentious, I have been able to do all my workouts. Their amenities are TOP NOTCH!! Bathroom attendants are always helpful and non-intrusive. Everyone has been incredibly professional and respectful. That surpasses any equipment matters i do notice they keep up with all their equipment as all the trainers also workout of that facility. Which is good to see. When work place seems like it treats its people right! That's important to me. They also have lots of social functions and to be honest so far it's been a positive experience read more

If I could give zero stars on this thing I would. A very unprofessional and unhelpful and clearly untrained employee at the front desk (Alex or Alex). I called to make plans to go in and open up a membership and asked about the monthly rate as it pertains to my employer's CorporatePartnership with Lifetime. He told me that he had no idea and I needed to go talk to my employers HR department. After trying to get further clarification and more information, he sarcastically pretty much told me to call them and he could not help me. For a facility charging over $150 a month for membership, you would think they better train their employees orcould hire more quality employees to provide customer service. Our family just joined lifetime, and we love it. It has reinvigorated my love for fitness, and my family is more active because of it. My reason for the 3 stars is because the classes (as awesome as they are) are incredibly inconvenient for working people. Some of the best classes are only offered during the day or at 6 o'clock and any person with working kids and a commute knows that's hard to get to. It'd be great to see them offer more classes in the 7 o'clock range to accommodate. read more

Man, I love this place and the people. The staff there are very nice. And the bathrooms look like a five star hotel luxury. And they got hot tubs and saunas. They also got towels for you so you don't have to bring any. The chairs are lovely. The floor looks hell yeah. And there's couches in the staircase. And the staircase look cool. This is a very nice gym for the most part. They could do a better job refilling the wipes to clean the equipment. Half the time you are walking around looking for some only to consistently find an empty canister. It's pretty clean throughout the gym. The staff does wear masks and also goes around spraying down areas and equipment. There is hand sanitizer all over. The staff in the children's area is great! This is probably what I'm most pleased with. They are all very nurturing and friendly. My daughter looks forward to going everyday because of them. All of the food in the cafe we have tried has been delicious. I like they they do camps and parent night outs. Overall, I enjoy all the extra amenities you are able to access. read more

I do like the club as it has provided me a lot of get away time that I need and has also helped my arthritis. However today, 11/20/22, I was sitting in the chairs beside the heated pool when a "female" and her child, probably 4 years old, maybe less got into the pool. I immediately saw her entire buttocks and "crack." It seems as if the string went right up between her buttocks. I went an made an inquiry at the front desk, expressing my disgust. The manager went and asked another manager if this was allowed and apparently the other manager said that it was as long as other "parts' in front were not showing. So this is a "family friendly" gym??? Its okay for a woman to show her entire buttocks and crack in front of everyone but men have to wear swimming trunks or a towel around them when they are in the MENS steam room??????? I will continue to come because it is the best around but I see some inconsistencies in what the club considers "common courtesy." On the steam room door in the mens area it says "As a matter of common courtesy..........." yada yada yada. read more

Just signed up today! So far so good, love the staff and cleanliness of the gym! Franky (she's a lovely energetic outgoing lady) signed us up! Never felt peer pressured into getting anything I didn't want, and was gave ya a wonderful tour of the gym! (If a male calls you and he says he's Franky, he's actually Trevor!) They offer many many amenities and there's no creepy person staring at you anywhere in the gym! Updated with new technology on most of their equipment and plenty of space! They even have an app to keep track of your recent activities. They offer: rock wall climbing, sport courts, children's camp and daycare, indoor field mainly for weight lifting, two indoor pools and two hot tubs, a unisex sauna right next to it, a pool outside with two water slides, in each gender bathroom there is a sauna and a eucalyptus steam room, and upstairs they have one barbell class room, an exercise room, a yoga studio and that's where all the gym equipments are! Each of their locker has a lock already built in and they have their own laundry service. Clothes for diamond members and new face and bath towels everyday. The restrooms also come with hair blow dryers and a tumble dryer for your clothes to dry quickly when needed. On the outside they have a cafe with free WiFi, and a hair salon and nail salon, in the back of the salon their is private massage and facial rooms. - The next day - Met up Corey today for on boarding: basically to see where we are at and what are our goals and what we can do to reach our goals while also calculating our BMI. He's a very cool dude and is definitely not trying to waste your time. He's there to help and not pressure you to do anything you DONT want to do. Prices go up constantly and is now at 144 for a basic under 26 membership, always busy unless you come really early or really late. Not enough machines for the amount of people who come in to work out. Plenty of cardio machines. and machines are always broken. Only two smith machines upstairs and one is currently broken and has been for weeks. Floors in corners and around machines are dusty. You're paying for mainly the amenities like the nice hot tub pool and locker rooms. Cafe has gone up in price, like everything else at lifetime but the overall quality has not. read more

Have been a member of another fitness club in So Cal which shall not be named here and although that club is still available here in my area, Life Time Fitness far exceeds the other club's standards. Everything works at Life Time Fitness. I always feel welcomed by the reception staff at Life Time Fitness. Fitness machines are all state of the art and are always in working order. The locker rooms are always clean and well stocked. The swimming pools are huge and many. The Aqua instructors make exercise fun although I would like to recommend that they play SOME music that is more targeted to the age group of the class members. You know, music that we actually have heard being played on the radio/satellite radio. Also, kudos to my Personal Fitness Trainer, Mason who helped me to gain confidence in my fitness. Many trainers train, but he went above and beyond by keeping the workouts challenging and by being there when I had questions. My husband enjoys playing racquetball there at Life Time Fitness too. Although I do not have small children, I see children being well taken care of there in classes and there are many activities for their own fitness! Life Time Fitness also has more Aqua classes (my personal favorite class) than my other fitness club had even during COVID19. Now it's time to cancel my other club membership as I no longer travel to CA. Yes, it is a bit pricier than most other fitness clubs, but you get what you pay for here and isn't your physical health and fitness worth it? I think so! read more

I don't know how anyone has a problem with this location. I'm new here and love it. I love it so much I travel from cedar hill for the location. I was helped when I first walked through the door and still continued to be helped as I'm learning about the location. The staff is super nice and welcoming. So many activities to do, and even the people that go there are nice. I'm super excited to start attending classes. One thing that drew me in was the turf and classes. I'm not just going there to workout on my own, but I'm joining a community. A community that also loves to work out and get in shape. Back to the turf, the turf is beautiful. Two sides and plenty to do. I love to do sprints and weighted runs and also push the cart across the turf. I love this place. I also like the eucalyptus steam room. I'll be putting the pool to use soon as well. It's a little pricey, yes. But you get what you pay for and all the classes and amenities are worth the price. Helpful staff, plenty to do and a pool. Guest-only review alert! I spent New Year's Day at Life Time Fitness with my friends who are members. I only wish I had a gym this cool. I spent my day on a free-standing spin bike in the cardio area, swimming laps in the warmer pool, relaxing in the hot tub and using the shower. Not bad for a few hours. I wanted to take classes (mostly over/canceled for the holiday), get a massage, get a facial, have a smoothie and have a salad. It blows my mind I can do it all in one spot. I didn't love the free-standing spin bike, as it was a little too light-weight/wobbly, however I'm assuming they are different in the spin studio. I also thought it was strange that there was only one soap option in the locker room. Even my gym has a separate shampoo, conditioner and soap. With that being said, I'm so impressed you can have so many health and wellness services under one-roof. If I was a member, I could easily see myself spending hours and hours on end at this gym. read more

Long time member. This gym does but maintain their equipment. They do not ever get new machines. Cardio machines are not cleaned so grab the wipes if you can find some. Showers have inconsistent hot water. People keep complaining but this has not been fixed for years. Manager is never on the floor. On Sunday mornings the place is filthy and supplies are absent. Opening of the gym is awful. They need to revamp their procedure for opening. No one seems to have keys. Front desk staff is often late during the week. Today they got locked out!! They had to walk around to the back to be let in. For the price... look elsewhere. If it wasn't for work and the group at 4am that are there, I would go someplace else. read more

I am proud to say I was one of the original members since its opening in 2009. My first time joining a gym and I was impressed with the overall cleanliness and size of this place! I've spent plenty of nights back in the day (new college graduate & unemployed) using the elliptical, basketball court, sauna, steam rooms...lost about 25-30lbs. As time went on, they raised my gym membership another $25.00/mo because I had turned 26, I did NOT like that. I tried to complain, no other offer could be made, so I made the decision to cancel my membership as a protest/save money....BAD IDEA. In that 1 year time period away from Life Time, I went to 3 different gyms: a boxing one, a west-coast city named one, and the other all-day-all-night gym, and also somehow gained all that weight back, but I digress---NONE of those other gyms compare to Life Time. Pay the extra $25-$30, it's worth it! Clean, great ventilation (no humid stenches), machines and weights available during peak hours (even during the "resolutioner" months Jan-Mar) and most importantly TOWELS---who wants to bring and wash their own sweaty towels!?! There really is no other gym in Mansfield that compares. Wait...this is Yelp, so I have to mention the food at the cafe. The food and smoothies are excellent---try the Turkey burger w/veggies and Caramel Apple... A+. read more

This is my favorite health club because the water features are nice and the facilities are maintained. The lockers allow any four number code. Simply look for a lock knob pointing up. No keys. Any locker lock knob pointing up is free to use. Open it up. Put everything inside. Close the locker. Put any four numbers you can remember and turn the knob to the lock position. Check it. Now spin the four numbers so only you know those numbers. Remember your locker number. That's very important. If like me it might be hours lifting, swimming, and then you get back and oh. What's my locker number. Free towels. Take one to wipe down everything. Take one to go swimming. Wipe up any water when finished. Keep your area clean & dry. You will love lifetime. Are you serious???? No, never will I ever step foot in this place!!!!! Then to add insult to injury when I did answer the 14th call the gentleman was beyond rude when I asked him to remove me from the call list due to excessive selling.... the reviews I did read mentioned employee rudeness but this is no way to gain new business..... especially when it's one of the most expensive gyms around!!! I was given a guest pass by my friend to check out this gym. I can only review the men's locker room and upstairs weight area. All in all this gym seems pretty awesome (it has a rock wall). I loved that upstairs there were, I believe, 5 squat racks that had the Olympic bumper weights and the platform under the rack. There were some interesting machines as well I have not seen in other gyms that allowed me to target my lower scapula during my warmup. I enjoyed that very much. The free weight area was alike normal free weight areas. My biggest issue with this location is that I wasn't allowed to bring my small gym back with me. Apparently due to theft, no gym bags are allowed on the second floor. Being I bring things with me I need throughout my training, I need a bag on the floor to hold it and I like keeping my keys and wallet in there as well, instead of in the locker room locker. For this reason I would not be able to join this location. The locker room was great. It was very clean, plenty of space to handle crowds and there were towels to use for drying. I took a towel into weight room as well (no one said I couldn't). I would return here on a pass when I'm in town but other than that, I could not join unless I'm permitted to bring my bag on the weight room floor. Being this location is $90/month I want to be able to bring my bag on the floor to get the best training session I can. read more

I used to be a 24hf membership, and I switched to Lifetime a while back. These gyms are massive with plenty of equipments, group x classes, cafes and even a spa. They have daycare and towel service. This place is family friendly, they do parents' night out and have a ton of family activities. They provide lockers for the members with locks, so you don't have to drag your stuff with you everywhere. The monthly membership is higher, but you get what you pay for. I've been a member of this gym all of 3 weeks and for the price of this gym they have some of the rudest staff in management. There is first BONNIE she's an account manager, I would say she was the rudest and probably the most racist, she blew me off my initial visit after I joined online. She was very short with me, she gave me the crappiest tour a person could give, she was even rude to the staff underneath her, she was a real piece of work. NEXT, a younger girl with purple hair working in the children's activity center, I witnessed her being very rude to someone else child during the youth rock climbing class .I thought maybe the girl hadn't really noticed but I heard her say to another kid "She's really mean", I was so pissed. I asked her who her supervisor was and she looked at me and shrugged her shoulders saying " I think her name is Katie" as if she didn't know. She might as well have given me the middle finger. I went looking for her supervisor and to my surprise there was a Katie but honestly she wasn't much better. I'm so disappointed, the gym is really great with piss poor management, not all the staff because there were a few really stand out employees ready to help with a smile on their face. read more

I wish I could give less. In the years I've paid going to this gym, I honestly enjoyed it. I thought I could truly get in a good workout and get my things done. After covid hit, this gym spiraled down hill. The name "LIFETIME GYM" became a tiktok fad and brought in new members. Cool. The new members were just either pubescent teens or barely out of high school kids who are always coming on guest passes. This wouldn't be an issue if they understood gym etiquette ( putting weights up, not taking their shirts off to pose in the mirror, clean up after themselves). I constantly see these new/guest members constantly making a mess and wanting to start fights with usual members. There's literal children who are no older than 12 running around in the top floors with no adults. Kids and adults bringing up basket balls to the stretching area to bounce it and crap. New/Guest members constantly trying to swing weights at their buddies, and no staff member is to be found. Wipes are constantly out, stalls are constantly broken, machines are constantly broken and taken a whole month or two to replace, the staffs that clean aren't as attentive (besides one who've I've actually seen get work done, I'll mention his name later). Weights are always misplaced, diamond parking are ALWAYS TAKEN BY CARS THAT DONT HAVE DIAMOND STICKERS. Y'all do nothing about the diamond parking issue at all. Why am I paying diamond prices if y'all let whoever park there with no displayed parking passes??? Y'all truly let this gym go down the drain. 2020 was the last good year y'all had. I've spoken to countless usuals who've all said they've sent an email to the HEAD MANAGER BLAKE, but never responds. If y'all got a complaint, you won't hear anything back from the manager there. It's best to call the company number and leave a survey. I truly enjoyed this gym but y'all let it all go down hill In 2021. I've been to all locations and I must say, colleyville is the best one. The only employee I see ever doing his job promptly is "Josh" and an old employee who's name was John ( who I don't see working there anymore). Anyways, y'all wanna do better for your members? Fix the lack on employees on the second floor during busy hours, fix your damn diamond or parking, fix the huge influx of the same guest members coming back who aren't actual members, stock more cleaning wipes. Im even going to mention the lack of action y'all took when I complained about a literal teen fapping while watching me work out. Y'all got his name and account number and did nothing. It's all been recorded on your camera of him doing it for 5 mins and YALL DID NOTHING. What's crazy is that, I saw him return the following week. I sincerely did enjoy my few months attending prior to COVID-19... and only stopped membership because of that. The childcare area was clean and the staff were caring to the kids. We even started (then canceled) our swim class because for the price the swimming class and what facility covered far beat the classes my kid would of gotten at other places. I'm even considered going back... but trying to determine joining at all vs with kid or without (seeing as covid rates rising & although I can take precautions for myself but not necessarily sure on the kid factor)... but I recommend the facility.. oh and the classes (cycling & hip hop dance) were great as well read more

It's so reasonably priced, most yoga shacks are around $100 a month!! You can get a lifetime membership for much cheaper than that and it comes with sauna access, pool access, so many more classes and obviously he gym itself!
