April keeps it real, she is honest, she's calming, and invigorating all at once, kind, knowledgeable and warm & genuine. This studio just has this great feeling stepping in the place, it's welcoming, and you can't help but feel kind of appreciated for coming in. They are excited to have you there! I am reminded that Pilates is good for me, mentally and physically. The equipment is all very new and perfect for the college student! a place to put your books, a TV to watch, music to listen to all while running on a treadmill, or walking up 89 flights of stairs on the stair master! The track is 3 lanes and wide enough for people to walk and run 9 laps for a mile! Me and my roommate try to come as often as possible, and we love the facility here. A lot better than LA fitness or 24 hour fitness. The gym is vast and there are always enough machines to use. They also have rock climbing, billiards, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, ping pong tables, outdoor sand volleyball court and even an indoor and outdoor pool! There is so many fun and creative ways to workout here, and I'm never disappointed. It does get busy at times (as expected) the most busiest times are at the beginning of the semester and around 7ish or so (when everyone gets out of class) even though it's crowded, there is always something to workout on. There is just so much equipment and so much resources. I also took the group classes with my roommate it was $30 for a whole semester of group classes (yoga, piloxing, zumba, hip-hop cardio, total body pump, etc.) We absolutely loved the classes and the teachers of the class were fun and lively. The MAC is also a great place to study! If you're an extrovert (like me), this is a perfect place to study. The booths are nice and spacious, but they are hard to get (because everyone wants one) they also have many tables and TVs and a lot of people which is always fun on my study break when I want to people watch ._. There are also a lot of computers for you to work/study and even print things. UTA was certainly looking out for the best interest of their students when building the MAC. Love it here and always coming back!

First, I wanted to give a little background about my gym history before the review to help add a…read morelittle weight to the review. I had tried out 3 other Gym's similar to G6 before I started at their gym in this area. The other gyms although I enjoyed, didn't feel it had the same professionalism where each trainer really knew their stuff at G6 and it felt like family after getting to know everyone. Results: I ended up putting on 20lbs of muscle while at G6 over a few months getting into the best shape of my life (under 5% Body fat) and it also felt more a like a family atmosphere which meant a lot to me personally. I have also sent several friends there that felt similar. Why G6? I almost went the personal training route but it wasn't in my budget for that level of 1 on 1 which is why I went hunting. At G6, you get to have the coaches for questions/watching your workouts similar to a personal trainer, excellent programming to fit your needs, professionalism, and a great atmosphere with the other individuals you workout with which helps with encouragement.
