This review is for the MIDLOTHIAN, TX location…read more We purchased the trial deal of 2 classes for $10 for our 8 y.o. and 4 y.o. After the first class, they were both so excited that we decided to purchase classes for a year (6 months is the longest term they had for the 4 y.o.) We have been going for about 2 months now and we LOVE K-Tiger! Our kids have mostly worked with Mr. Andrew and Mr. Colby (sp?). They have the patience of angels and their methods are highly effective. They really make the classes kid-friendly. Our 8 y.o. is very anxious, emotionally heightened, and shy by nature and takes a while to get comfortable in new environments. Last year, she played basketball and she was so anxious that she was in tears during the first four practices. Since starting Taekwondo at K-Tiger, her confidence has grown noticably. She just started soccer and went out there like a different person. She was making friends, having fun, and unafraid to learn new things. Our 4 y.o. is the polar opposite and has so much energy. He's also very young so we know it will take him longer but he's already showing signs of developing discipline. He is working hard and paying attention more and more in class. Thank you K-Tiger team for the positive impact you're having on our children.

Enrolling her in the little gym was one of the best things we could've done for her. She has completely come out of her shell! She is more comfortable around other kids and adults. My daughter hadn't been enrolled long and when her class had their little award ceremony, they included her as well which made me feel really good. My daughter took a picture with her teacher that day and she would never have done that before. The little gym is also teaching her new skills weekly. It is a great way for my daughter and I to bond as well. It is affordable and the staff is so friendly!

The people are so nice and friendly. There's so many kiddos in the kids classes and they're just as friendly and talented. The parents and spouses are so kind and welcoming. The coaches are so knowledgeable but still soft, warm, and inviting. I cannot recommend this gym enough for any age - toddlers through adults, and beginners through experienced athletes. There's something here for everyone! Morning and night classes. Gi and no Gi. Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu. Oh and there's a bakery stand from one of the members - fresh bread, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. There's even a cooler with frozen açaí bowls for a perfect after-roll snack. So grateful and blessed we're apart of this family!

They started out on a rope swing jumping off into a foam pit then they got to do floor and bar exercises. These were like parallel bars where they were spotted. From there, the group went to the trampolines and bounced around. After that they headed to the party room for food, soft drinks and cake. We were glad to get to visit this place as we were initially told they didn't accept boys after age 5 in the gymnastics program. After chatting with the manager during the party, she informed us that the gym accepts boys beyond 5 years old in the ninja warrior courses where they still learned many basics of gymnastics. All in all this was a fun birthday location and we were happy to learn of the gym offerings for future possible visits!
