ASI for the win! the coaches are so kind, patient, and incredibly experienced. They truly care about every child and make each class such a positive experience. The facility itself is beautiful very large, clean, and spacious. There's so much room for the kids to spread out, and the variety of equipment is top-notch. I love that they offer so many different levels and classes, so there's truly something for everyone whether you're brand new to gymnastics or more advanced. Never in my life have I been so outraged by a place or teacher. First of all picking on little kids and isolating them. Let me explain I first enrolled my kids in gymnastics because they wanted to try it. I deliberately enrolled them in a class with very few kids after a couple of weeks. The teacher didn't even show up so we got pushed to join a bigger class which I was OK with because at this age it is just for fun. Honestly, after a couple more sessions, I really wasn't that happy with the class because the teacher looked overwhelmed and cannot focus on the kids. But as I was saying at an age 3 and four gymnastics is just to get some exposure. But yesterday was the most frustrating livid thing I ever experienced as a parent. Both my kids were not focusing as well as they usually do because like everybody they have good days and bad days. They weren't doing anything bad they were just being kids. At one point or another they were crying so I had to talk with them to make sure they focus for the rest of the class. At the end of class, everybody lines up and gets a sticker and a lollipop. Both my kids comes running, bawling, crying so I asked him what was wrong. They couldn't even talk. So finally my little one said the teacher didn't give us a lollipop. I thought it was a mistake so I asked a teacher and she said they didn't listen so they didn't deserve one. You do not isolate one kid and embarrass them in front of everybody in there, especially in front of other parents and kids. You give everybody one or you don't give anybody anything especially at three and four years old. Just last week a little girl pulled on my youngest daughter's hair and nothing was done, but she was also given a lollipop that day so I don't know why my kids are getting treated that way. Just the fact, the teacher haley embarrass my kids like that was just unjustified for. I hope she doesn't teach anymore. There was no apology which I'm still waiting for. I told the front desk we are done and we are quitting gymnastics. I hope other people read this and watch out for how their kids get treated. read more

As much as I've loved going to ASI Gymnastics, I can no longer support this business. I recently learned that several long-time, beloved coaches were let go--right after the gym hired new ones. This is incredibly disappointing and honestly heartbreaking. My daughter is devastated by the sudden news, and I can't believe ASI would do this, especially the week before Thanksgiving. Coach Aerris, thank you for everything you've done for my daughter. Watching her go from not being able to do a cartwheel to where she is now is because of your dedication, patience, and guidance. DO NOT schedule your birthday party here. My 2 year old son was expected to sit in a line. Follow directions during a music game. HE'S TWO!!!!! They told me free play is not allowed because of liability reasons! Yet they kept grabbing my sons arm to force him to sit down. This place is not a family friendly facility. We ended up leaving early cause my son was so upset. The picture is my son sitting patiently(red shirt), but he's 2!!! He can not sit for longer than a minute. My daughter attended a week long camp this summer to try out gymnastics before I enrolled her into classes. She absolutely loved it! However, she didn't learn any techniques. I do understand it was just a camp, but according to my daughter, it was more of a playing/babysitting experience than anything else. I didn't expect full blown lessons, but I did expect a little trick and tips to be included in the camp. Overall, I would recommend the camp! read more

I was trying to register for classes, and the woman at the desk I believe named Taylor was very rude to me and was not helpful whatsoever. The camp was horrible! My child wasn't allowed to do flips. We payed $27 for a camp that's 5 hours and the only thing she did there was play on the equipment. She can do a lot of stuff. The so called coaches were mean and my child is 11 and they acted like she was 2. Do not recommend what so ever. Waste of money and time. read more

My kid has been coming to ASI since he was 15 months. We attended for a year and then quit because he became extremely bored. It's the same thing every time. He is now three and have come back, because he loves to jump and tumble. We picked James, because he is very experienced and love how he interacts with the kids. It is very busy at ALL times, and can be distracting, but we have never had a bad experience or bad instructor. We hope to be here for a long time, as this seems to be the only energy outlet my son enjoys! read more

Our daughter, MaKayla, began doing gymnastics here when she was 7 years old. She fell in love and continued competing gymnastics competitively until her sophomore year in high school. We will be forever grateful for the lessons learned through this sport, and for the fundamentals and extensive training she received here. She is now a gymnastics coach at ASI Arlington. It has come full circle. She loves coaching these sweet kids and talks so much about how well her students are doing. We love that she has taken what she grew up loving to do and now able to teach the skills, the love of the sport and the life lessons that you get with any level of a class here. I have students at my elementary school in Arlington who go here. They love to stop me in the halls and tell me that they love Coach MaKayla and can't wait until gymnastics this week. Thank you for continuing to pour into our girl! Our family has been through a lot these past few months but the staff and families at ASI Arlington have been so supportive of MaKayla. I've been taking my daughter here for a few months and everyone is so nice and understanding of my daughter being hyper and outgoing, they are all really patient with her and all seem to really care for her! She's always so happy to see her coaches and be in class! The staff is very nice and everyone seems very happy to be there with the kids! Came to an open gym service in order to practice and learn a new skill. I felt very welcomed at the beginning, but within the first hour that feeling disappeared. Hearing the words "You suck" is really saddening, some instructors need to realize that not everyone is on the same level and that is totally normal and OKAY. I felt like the instructors cared more about kids who they already knew, instead oh making sure all kids, new or not feel welcomed. I was excited to come and try and get the help I needed and get some advice by some instructors. Although some of that did happen. Being in the gym felt very unwelcoming - judgement is what I felt the entire time instead of encouragement. Sadly, I don't think I will come back to this gym. read more

We just started a few months ago and my boys look forward to going every week. They enjoy the class and have a lot of fun. Their instructor is great and has patience to deal with them it's a boys class so I know it's not easy. Each child learns differently and at a different rate, the one thing I like is that if they are advancing in technique before the rest of the class they can be evaluated and moved to the next level. I will also add that they have a great point system where you earn points for every dollar you spend. If you have them auto-draft from your credit card, you get double points, and triple if you do a bank account. You can use those points for free sessions and parents nights out, etc. I have also done 2 birthday parties there. They really keep the kids entertained from start to finish. I don't think the kids have had that much fun at any other type of birthday party... ever! As for the quality of the gymnastics education, it is top notch. My kids have been going to this gym for over 3 years. We have had nothing but positive experiences. They started in regular classes and now I have two on the competition teams. They are very professional and SAFE! They honestly might progress faster at another gym, but at what expense? It is air condioned unlike some other local gyms. That is a definite plus during summers like this one. The kids also enjoy going to open gym and Parents Night Out (PNO). You do not have to me enrolled in order to attend either of these. Open gym is every Friday from 7-10pm and is $10. PNO is the 3rd Saturday every month and is 7-11pm for $20. And they do serve dinner at this one. Each month is a different theme. They have to be at least 3 yrs old. We've also had several birthday parties here which have all been excellent. They can either be 90 or 120 minutes. read more

My daughter loves her classes at ASI! Her coach, Kristin, is so positive and encouraging. She is friendly and always takes a few minutes to share my daughter's progress with me. My daughter enjoys the opportunity to learn a variety of gymnastics skills each week as they move between stations. Both of my daughters enjoy the Friday night open gym as well. First let me say that my son has been coming off and on since he was about a year old. As many customers may have realized, the small in the gym was pretty awful. Until I walked in today! My daughter (age 6) has been coming here a few months now and really enjoys it. The instructors make her feel very welcome and take the time to help and correct her when they notice her struggling. Her first day she was nervous and when it came time to take the floor she wanted to keep watching from the stands, coach Tiffany came over and and really put her at ease and gave her that boost of confidence she needed and introduced her to the other girls in the group and even with a mask on you could feel and see her genuine care for the kids glad we gave this gym a try! We have been members of ASI Arlington for the past 3, almost 4, years. We recently returned (COVID stopped us) only to find the past month disappointing. The new coaching staff does not seem interested in training the students in their class. I have watched my daughter, who is much smaller than other girls in her class, fall or simply do nothing, all because she either wasn't told what to do or shown properly. I myself have even had to step down to show my daughter a move because her coach didn't know how to teach the move. I had full trust in her previous coaches, even when my daughter moved up through the levels and had a new coach. Now we are considering moving to another gym because the coaches here just don't seem interested. I should note my daughter is one of the younger girls in her class. read more

It's my first time enrolling my 6 year old into any type of gym/cheer class. I had gone with my daughter the week before to check the gym out and was advised I could return the following week on the day I'd normally schedule her for. When I arrived the staff was nice. Right away I noticed there were too many children on the floor and not enough instructors. Apart from that, there was no more waiting/seating area available as it was all filled. After observing the class for 30 minutes and noticing that the instructor had not even spoken with my daughter (mind you, it was her first time in gymnastics and her first class), I spoke with the instructor/lady up front. I asked her if the floor instructor having too many kids was a reason why my daughter hadn't been spoken to or acknowledged at all. After voicing my concerns, the floor manager Tiffany jumped into action. She did an evaluation of my daughter and was able to see the natural and raw talent she has and gave us recommendations on the classes she should be in. I think I would have given this gym and it's services 5 stars would the instructors have been more inviting and interested in my daughter and any other new comers more and not just the regulars. Thankfully Tiffany turned it around for us! read more

ASI corporate team charged my debit card after I dropped my child for the October classes. She was dropped on 9/30, however I never put my card on file to do recurring transactions, they use my card information from a payment I made in September. When I asked for a refund they stated that it was denied by Corporate and a credit has been placed on my account to use, which why would I need a credit on my account when I dropped my child from the class. And I considered this unauthorized fraud transaction to my account, I had to cancel my debit card to prevent further charges because I don't trust them. read more

Not a fan. Instructors are super nice and good with the kids BUT, too many kids per one instructor. My kids first month and has learned NOTHING and no improvement. They just move from station to station without ever learning at any of the stations. Need smaller groups or more instructors. Will not pay for another round of this mess. read more

Enrolled my daughter in Tiny Tots class (12-24 months) and was very disappointed in the content and structure of the class, as compared to another gym we had been members of previously. Instructor was abrasive and didn't interact with toddlers in a caring and sensitive way--which is my preference, but I realize other parents might have a different expectation. At one point in the class, the little ones were playing in a foam ball/cube(?) pit and he threw a large foam cube at my 14-month old and hit her in the head! On purpose. The cost is competitive and often less than other places but the instruction, or lack thereof is disappointing. The kids spend lots of time sitting around waiting while the coaches are writing down stuff in their binders. If I could give negative feedback I would. I bought 2 months program for both my daughter and son on Groupon and add additional class (paying $90 extra for second class). My daughter didn't get to pay as much attention compared to other kids as I sit there to witness, but since my daughter love Gymnastics and wanted to play with friends there so I pay additional $90 for second month. Right on that day I sat there my daughter ran to me cry so loud, I try to calm her down then asked her what happen she said I wanted to pee pee but the coach gave me the mean look and roll her eyes at me , I'm scared she a monster. As the coach saw my daughter ran to me crying out loud at least come check on her. So I waited after class over and ask her what going on ? Coach try to be undeniable and said she didn't know what happen. I came up to the front desk ask for refund which I paid 30 minutes ago and explained what happen, seem to get ignored the lady told me No Refund that's our policy. After going through all the phones call back and forward they only refund me $45 since they said nothing have to do with my son so No Refund for him. What is a bad experience I have with this place. Highly NOT recommended , why do you want to pay money for someone treating your kids like that. read more

I have been going to this gym for almost 4 years now and it is awesome! Mostly when people say ASI they think of it as a " little kid gym" but I am 14 years old on team and still love it! The have amazing coaches that I trust with my life! I've also been to other gyms but I like this one the best! I love going to open gym and PNO. We have been involved with ASI Gymnastics in Arlington for over 15 years. My oldest daughter started as a 5 year old taking tumbling and she is now a Coach there! My youngest daughter has been taking gymnastics at this location for 7 years and she is now on Girls Team. I can't say enough good things about ASI. They teach your child so much more than gymnastics skills: self confidence, team work, personal discipline, and good sportsmanship are all things both of my girls have gained from their association with ASI. The coaches honestly care about their students and guide them with personal attention and concern for them and their safety. Now that my older daughter is a Coach I have seen more of the management side of ASI and can attest to the fact that their integrity and professionalism goes all the way to the top of the management chain.
