The facility itself is beautiful very large, clean, and spacious. There's so much room for the kids to spread out, and the variety of equipment is top-notch. I love that they offer so many different levels and classes, so there's truly something for everyone whether you're brand new to gymnastics or more advanced. It's the perfect place for kids to build skills, confidence, and friendships. Highly recommend ASI to anyone looking for a welcoming and professional gymnastics program!

Never in my life have I been so outraged by a place or teacher. First of all picking on little…read morekids and isolating them. Let me explain I first enrolled my kids in gymnastics because they wanted to try it. I deliberately enrolled them in a class with very few kids after a couple of weeks. The teacher didn't even show up so we got pushed to join a bigger class which I was OK with because at this age it is just for fun. Honestly, after a couple more sessions, I really wasn't that happy with the class because the teacher looked overwhelmed and cannot focus on the kids. But as I was saying at an age 3 and four gymnastics is just to get some exposure. But yesterday was the most frustrating livid thing I ever experienced as a parent. Both my kids were not focusing as well as they usually do because like everybody they have good days and bad days. They weren't doing anything bad they were just being kids. At one point or another they were crying so I had to talk with them to make sure they focus for the rest of the class. At the end of class, everybody lines up and gets a sticker and a lollipop. Both my kids comes running, bawling, crying so I asked him what was wrong. They couldn't even talk. So finally my little one said the teacher didn't give us a lollipop. I thought it was a mistake so I asked a teacher and she said they didn't listen so they didn't deserve one. You do not isolate one kid and embarrass them in front of everybody in there, especially in front of other parents and kids. You give everybody one or you don't give anybody anything especially at three and four years old. Just last week a little girl pulled on my youngest daughter's hair and nothing was done, but she was also given a lollipop that day so I don't know why my kids are getting treated that way. Just the fact, the teacher haley embarrass my kids like that was just unjustified for. I hope she doesn't teach anymore. There was no apology which I'm still waiting for. I told the front desk we are done and we are quitting gymnastics. I hope other people read this and watch out for how their kids get treated.

I'm an educator and I can recognize that most of their coaches have important components at Trevino's: 1. They love working with children - This is evident through the way they communicate to students and the way they try to get to know them. I've noticed that regular attendees are able to establish trusting relationship with their coaches to help build their confidence and skill. 2. They provide frequent and immediate feedback to their students. - This is evident through their small group skill sessions and their direct correction/feedback to students. They often model techniques, get hands-on and sometimes allow students to ring bell to symbolize skill mastery and encourage entire gym to celebrate. (I love this practice!!) 3. They want students to grow and do things "Right" - This is evident all the way from their stretching routines to warm up, their skill expectations and their opportunities for tryout to different level progressions. Other than that, the price is a tad bit high but their online portal is easy to navigate, social media page is updated regularly and the front office staff has been friendly each time I speak with them. It's evident that there is a family deep or this gym and I appreciate that ALL staff/coaches wear Trevino Gym School gear each time for quick recognition. They've implemented rotation time stamp child's to help with the paving of their lessons. Only suggestions is to update their family seating area to provide more chairs/seating downstairs to observe more comfortably and less tight. There is definitely plenty of overflow seating upstairs though. It's not the fanciest facility and building is outdated BUT they make up for it where it matters -- with their quality coaching to students. Overall, we are enjoying Trevino's Gymnastics and hoping that our child will continue to build her love for the sport while getting very skilled with quality coaching.

I attended a gymnastics competition here on 1/13/24 and I found the event to be poorly organized…read morefrom a spectator point of view. There was absolutely NO parking enforcement; people were parking on the medians, under trees, even people parking in locations that were "Handicapped Only" without displaying the proper Disabled placard any ware on their vehicle!!!!! ; and it took my wife and I (we are both senior citizens) approx. 30 minutes to simply leave the complex due to the huge amount of vehicles recklessly parked near the facility . The bleachers were absolutely inadequate for the 2 hour long event and should be redesigned in order to accommodate the overflow crowd that attended the event ; they charged us 10 bucks for an adult and five bucks for a kid ; for that price, they should be able to easily install some decent seats. . Although they had seating areas available for handicapped people, families with of large amounts of pre-school age children were allowed to accommodate themselves to the seats, designated for elderly or disabled people. As this is simply a review of the management of the facility, the competition went well and the emcee was very professional and delivered a somewhat entertaining performance; but again the parking situation was simply out of control. I was informed by the property owner that this facility has been operating for over 30 years. You would think that if the owner has been hosting such an event, that better parking and seating would've been ironed out by now.

I found that a lot of the times they start 2-3 minutes later than scheduled and end a couple minutes earlier so a 45 min class ends up being 35...my daughter has been at other gymnastics classes before and she enjoyed them a lot more. Idk if it's bc this is a huge gym w lots of kids but she just didn't seem to enjoy the classes so I ended up pulling her out.

This gym is ok. A few takeaways from our experience. Things…read morethat could use a bit of tweeking / improvement 1. All staff where the same colored shirts on the same day, so there is an identifiable uniform. Just as cheer wears a certian uniform, socks, shoes, bows etc. So they can be identified and show as a team. (Have different shirts for customers to buy vs the same as staff) 2. *Consistency* in how a class is taught when you have multiple instructors (different one each week) is key for many! (Example: warm up the same, next exercise/apparatuse the same and how the present, explain and demonstrate, and so on) -When there is so much variation students tend to get confused. 3. Show the student how to do the exercise, do not just mark it, as many do not have an idea. Example Cartwheel - show a cartwheel, explain a cartwheel, then help student do cartwheel (just like you do a routine marked or full out, show full out!) 4. When classes are going on, random gym kids are wondering the floor and getting in the way of others. This is a safety hazard and rude to the ones participating in a class. 5. Staff should not be allowed phone use (or even on the mat) during a teaching of a class. 6. Staff greets as one walks in, Hospitality goes a long way in a competitive market (vs talking to friends) Overall kids enjoyed, instructors are nice, however had no big take aways or building on skills. We will be looking for another gym to try.
