There are also a lot of other things to do in this are now, so before or after we can go to the Epic Indoor Water Park or go play pickle ball at Chicken N Pickle. Great walking/running track inside. Lots of work out equipment/machines. Cross fit and other group fitness classes. Open basketball courts. Rooms for your company to have meetings in or to have a birthday party in. There are also art classes and a recording studio, just to list a couple other things you can take advantage of. Staff is really nice and helpful. Lots of parking as well. Get a membership here and take advantage of the many things you can do here. Support your city facilities to help better yourself!

Our only complaints, some staff are unable to answer our questions & point us to the website, which wasn't able to answer our question to start with... for example, one of the main reasons we joined, after visiting in person, was the summer camp. We went home to join & register online, as was suggested by staff (versus registering in person at the facility), to find out the summer camps were already full. You can't tell that the camps are full online, until you've already purchased a membership. Staff should have had knowledge of camps being at full capacity & been able to tell us that information during our tour of the facility. A plus for us, the family swim hours, swim lessons, & family changing areas. We also love the indoor walking track.

We went ahead and got the pineapple passes, which include unlimited visits through the season, as well as bringing in a guest free each visit. The pass also included free unlimited soft drinks with each visit as well. We upgraded and got the cooler pass, which allows you to bring in a cooler or ice chest each visit where you can bring drinks and snacks that don't contain alcohol. The parking lot has ample spaces to park, and parking is always free. The park hours vary by the day of the week and month. The best bet is to go online and check out the park schedule for a more accurate listing. There are many slides and fun activities for the kids to do. The park is designed for small children, and all the slides end in a shallow end of water that is still intact with the slide. They have a lazy river and a wave pool that are all waist deep as well as 2 small kids play areas with small slides and water activities. There are many lifeguards present who do a great job in making sure everyone remains safe in a fun filled environment since safety should be everyone's concern. There are a couple of food vendors on site, and they have picnic grounds to sit back and relax while enjoying a day in the sun. The floats are always free to use, and there is an abundance of lawn chairs to sit back and recline to soak it all in. There are 2 more locations in Roanoke and Waco, and both are built similar but have different attractions. There are always specials and events going on, such as the 4th of July firework show and discounts throughout the week with certain promotions. This is the perfect family getaway with families who have small kids and are looking for a safe place to swim and beat the North Texas heat!

I let it slide several times because I figured they have to be exposed to unkindness in order to grow. Well today was absolutely enough. Kate threatened my daughter with screaming at her if she continued to cough. My daughter spent the rest of her time there holding her breath in order to not cough and get an aggressive reaction from Kate. Today my daughter also decided to wear her pajama bottoms to class. Kate called her, a. 6 year old innocent child...poor and broke. What kind of person who is supposed to be trained to work with children behaves this way? Well apparently Kate and she is fully endorsed and supported by the owner, Rina Nicole Hale. I tried reaching out to her to get assurance that this would not happen to another child again and she simply ignored and blocked me. When my daughters let me know what happened I went back inside to withdraw them. Enough was enough. I was calm when speaking with the manager, Kala because she wasn't the aggressor who hurt my daughters feelings. But I was still met with aggression and hostility from Kala. She laughed in my face and tried gaslighting me. Saying no one has ever had a problem with Kate. In between loud annoyed sighs and groans she gave me the worst service. I even asked her why she was behaving that way. I asked for the owners contact information and she said, no one has time for you. I later found out Kala and the owner Rina are best friends so absolutely no disciplinary actions will take place. No customer relations will be mended. After spending so much money on this business we were met with some of the worst treatment we've ever experienced. Please save your children the heartache and save yourself the money. They are not kind people. They do not know how to treat children. They have absolutely no class. They do not know the first thing about customer service.

Unfortunately, things frequently get heated, with verbal exchanges and behavior that feels like it could escalate into physical altercations. In the six weeks I've been coming here, at least four of those weeks have involved some type of incident on the basketball court that caused people to rush over to address an issue. This has made the environment feel unsafe, especially for children. I do not feel comfortable allowing my son to be in the facility without me present. Today was especially disappointing. Our side of the court was following the rules and not involved in any issue, yet we were told to leave because the gym was closing 10 minutes early. A manager approached us abruptly without any apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience, which felt very disrespectful. The gym itself remained open, but the entire court was shut down, and there was no advance notice of the closure. I did speak with the manager, who stated this is their policy whenever there is an altercation. However, given how frequently these situations occur, this policy feels poorly managed and unfair to members who are not involved in any wrongdoing. Additionally, the overall customer service has been lacking. Very few staff members appear welcoming or engaged, and the experience today highlighted a lack of professionalism and empathy toward members. I would like to enjoy the services this gym offers, but the recurring altercations, lack of communication, inconsistent enforcement of rules, and poor customer service make it difficult to feel safe or valued as a member.

In addition to exercise, the rec is always buzzing with community activities like arts festivals, kids karate classes and Senior dance lessons. You can also rent space there for parties and family gatherings at a really low rate. The only drawbacks would be the weekend hours (they don't open until 1pm on Sundays) but I can deal with that given the dollars saved by switching our gym membership to the rec center.
