Need some craft items, holiday items, or maybe some yarn or fabric, this one has it. It's a good…read moresize craft store, we've stopped here on many occasions. It's usually clean. We stopped during the Christmas rush, and it was still well maintained. Have to hand it to the staff for ding a good job and keeping the entire store presentable when the shopping public is in full Christmas buy-in mode and making a big mess. Hats off. We went to look for yard this day for a project my wife was doing for her friends. They have a decent selection, tho as with all of the stores it seems to be dwindling down to a few rows of shelves, when 10 years ago there were several shelves full of various yarns. Prices are good, especially when they are on sale, except today, the yarn she needed was $10 per skein! OUCH! 5-6 years ago it was $4 ish. The holiday stuff took up a LOT of space today, for the most part it was 2 sides of the store, part of the front and all of the right side. Now this location isn't really as big as others, so it's a lot of stuff packed into small spaces. Good deals not the Christmas stuff tho.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Daughter worked there for over a year. Her purse was stolen out…read moreof the breakroom that was supposed to be locked. They never gave her a locked locker to put her stuff in. Her purse, credit cards, and car were stolen....out of a breakroom that should have been locked to protect their employees belongings. We got her a new car and she called to say she was ready to work again. Well....she was fired for missing work... after they knew her car was stolen and loss prevention told us they were taking her off the schedule. If you don't want a headache, don't send your kid to work there. Also....they have only one bad camera at the front that did not show who came in and stole her belongings. ONE CAMERA ONLY!

BEWARE!! Do not give this company your business. Please, I beg of you. We hired TEXGEN, owned by…read moreEsteban, for a major home renovation that was supposed to begin in March and be completed by June. It's now October, and the job was never finished. Esteban walked away after being paid nearly $70,000, leaving behind poor workmanship, damage, and incomplete work. From the start, he promised professional, high-quality results and claimed he could do better than our previous handyman. Instead, it quickly became clear he was in over his head and did not understand the full steps of a complete full home remodel. As the project dragged on, I found myself having to check in constantly and even advise him on how to get the work done, which is absurd for a licensed contractor. The list of issues is long: Paint job never completed in bedrooms and on cabinets Overspray on cabinets and our newly stained concrete floors (which we had to pay out of pocket to clean) Damaged drywall and poorly done texture LUMPY AND CROOKED WALLS throughout the home Damaged gutters Terrible grout work and poor Schluter trim installation in every bathroom New flooring installed over weak structural areas he promised to repair--but didn't Esteban later admitted he underbid the project and then stopped responding to calls and messages, leaving us stranded. We moved here from Connecticut hoping for help restoring our home after a flood, but instead were left with even more damage and stress. TEXGEN cannot be trusted. Esteban lacks the skill, professionalism, and accountability to manage or complete a full remodel. Hiring him has been an expensive, exhausting, and deeply disappointing experience. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. We hired him because we saw glowing reviews but are shocked to have experienced this situation. Those reviews cannot be real at this point. He'll be hearing from us soon again. We have reached out to him several times to which he did not reply. Tell me - from the pictures, would anyone be proud of this work? This is a DIYer skill at best and even most DIYers would be ashamed. This is how Esteban chose to leave our home. The nights of crying and frustration after realizing that someone can take your money and do this. ALL FUTURE HOMEOWNERS: BEWARE!!! Seriously - do not give this company your business. Till this day, this company has only written this false reply to my review but has not reached out in anyway to make it right because they know they are wrong. Esteban and his team of subcontractors were terrible. Run before you waste any of your precious money on this company.

Texas General Contractors have been amazing to work with. Not only were they the only ones to reply…read morethe same day but they ke0t in contact with me since the beginning. They finished my remodel with no hassle or price changes and finished within my time frame. I will have them back out to paint my home completely inside and out. Thank you, guys, for the amazing work.

We had our fire extinguisher inspection serviced by this company last year. I was not involved with…read morethe process to speak about the experience then, but I can say it has been an awful experience in dealing with them now. So much to the point where I have to write this in a review. The 1 star rating isnt even worthy. The owner, perhaps Doug, was curt on the phone when I asked to schedule our annual service. He said his son was likely the person who came into our company the year before and to reach him. When the son or whoever called us back (a few days later), he would not schedule a day or provide a general time frame; rather, he said he would call an hour before arriving (any day) that week. There didn't seem to be any sense of urgency so I asked for reassurance he would definitely come. He said yes. The week goes by, he never calls or shows. I call back the number listed on our inspection tag and speak to the owner again. I briefly explained I had been in touch with his son to service our company's fire extinguishers and he never got back to us; how can we schedule an appointment. I heard a pause and then a click on the other end--he straight hung up on me! Customer service goes a long way and these guys do not have it. They're unprofessional, unhelpful and incredibly rude. I can't imagine they have a loyal customer base with the way they treat people; you'd think they would want to make money and hold a solid reputation. I'm glad they didnt take our money, because now we can give our service to a company who respects their customers' time and does the work they advertise. I highly recommend Pitt's Fire Equipment Co in Plano. They were friendly on the phone as well as in person and came the same day I called.
