I'm a first time Mother and I have not spent one day away from my daughter since she was born. Part…read moreof that is my family is about 45 minutes from me, and the other is I never want to be away from her. I'm extremely hands on with her and I don't mind that at all. I heard about Kids Park from Moms in a group I'm in on Facebook, and Heather offered the group a waived registration fee so I finally took my daughter. My husband and I walked in and immediately I knew she'd be fine. There were TONS of toys for her to play with, a play area with a slide (I knew they'd never get her off of that lol), and more. They put her name on her back before I even finished the paperwork and let her in. Right away, they took all the pre-schoolers into a room to dance to The Wiggles and I will admit, I had tears in my eyes knowing my baby was getting bigger. While they had the preschoolers dancing, they had the older kids doing other things but they were careful that my daughter was never hurt or bothered by them. They didn't even start the clock until I handed the paperwork back. My daughter was never left alone (far as I saw) and we walked out. We stayed in the shopping area the entire hour, mostly because we had nothing else to do lol. When we came back, they were carrying her out of the snack area and they said she just wasn't eating so they were bringing her back out to play. Once they handed her to us we smelled that she needed her diaper changed. I asked if I could step back and do it and instead they took care of her for me! I was a little confused as to why they didn't change her (You could definitely smell that she needed it) but I figured if it just happened how would they have known? Everyone was so nice and understanding, saying they were used to seeing Moms as emotional as me and it was "harder on the Moms than the kids to say goodbye". I'll be bringing her back soon, and I think it'll be great for her. I am not putting her in the preschool program though simply because what they're going over, shes already too advanced for it.

I can run errands or go to appointments without stressing about finding a sitter. The staff is honestly the best part. Every single person there is so sweet, kind, and genuinely caring. When my daughter has a hard time at drop-off, they always greet her with a big smile and know exactly how to help her calm down and feel safe. I never worry when she's there because I know she's in loving hands. They also do so many fun activities with the kids, arts and crafts, games, story time, and even themed projects. My daughter comes home excited to show me what she made. She always has paint or glitter somewhere on her, which honestly just proves how hands-on and creative the center is. The place is always clean, organized, and bright, and you can tell they put real effort into making it a fun, safe space for the kids. She leaves happy every single time. If you're looking for flexible, affordable, trustworthy childcare, I can't recommend KidsPark enough. We're so grateful for them!

It's so funny leaving this review 20 years later. I went to CU from PreK-1st grade. It's a part of…read moremy childhood I hold onto fondly. I was a student when the giant treehouse was built. I don't want to be a teacher but if I were I'd want to be like the ones who shaped my time here. It makes me tear up thinking about all I experienced from meeting famous authors, starring in musicals, tipping in my Halloween costume on the yellow brick road, and that one time I refused to color in my connect the dots assignments and it was sent home with a note (my mom later framed it). Arlington is already diverse but it was good to see all the different backgrounds my friends were. If you're wondering if your kids will value going here, I am certain they will remember it fondly as CU fostered my love for reading, adventure, and friendship.

The greatest compliment has been my child saying about her old school, "I'm not returning because I love CU." (Talk about music to our ears when she said that.) CU is a warm, family-oriented environment that caters to the individual child. It provides the academic rigor vital for us, along with a host of enrichment opportunities from robotics and animal husbandry to chess and cheer. During our exploration, what sealed the deal was what we witnessed during our CU tour. We passed a group of children (who appeared close in age to my child) working on a group project in the library. They were discussing their different perspectives and had books that they were referencing. While we knew nothing about the project, I was impressed by how immersed they were in the work, and all appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the educational experience. So many vital skills were underway without them knowing it, which filled us with optimism about our child's future development at CU. Our family couldn't be happier to be part of the CU family. Our daughter is thriving; she has the best, most wonderful teacher. It's a true partnership, and we're beyond grateful. If you're looking for a program for your child, I recommend CU. It's a blend of academic excellence with a curriculum that challenges and inspires, enveloped in the most attentive environment dedicated to helping your child reach their fullest potential.

At Kidz R Luv: Children should be in a home-like setting in their early years where they feel safe and happy. Learning should happen because of fun, developmental activities. Children should learn how to relate to others with respect and honesty.Parents and providers should work together as a team to provide a positive experience for the children. The early year’s of children lives are the most criticical when it comes to their development. They are growing and learning at a phenomenal rate. I believe that it is very important to have a child in an environment that is consistent and secure. Free play: provides an opportunity for children to direct their own learning. Planned activities: these activities are usually short but structured in order to introduce a new concept or reinforce concepts already learned by children. Child-Led Exploration; In free play, children take the lead in deciding what to do, how to do it, and for how long. This autonomy fosters independence and decision-making skills. Imagination and Creativity: Free play encourages the use of imagination and creativity. Children may engage in make-believe scenarios, invent games, or create art without predefined rules.

Find somewhere else. Seriously. Do not let the charm fool you…read more If you are considering this place for your child, please keep looking. The way this place presents itself to families is very different from the experience I ultimately had. You will hear all the right things about safety, standards, communication, and having children first. The price was reasonable, and it felt like a blessing to find them, but it was a nightmare. I quickly became concerned about leadership, supervision, communication, and overall accountability. Communication was another major problem. When the facility needed something from me, they could contact me like it was the end of the world. However, when I needed someone at the school, getting a response was always very difficult. That is not acceptable when you are talking about someone's child. I tried to be reasonable. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I tried to believe that my concerns would be addressed and that they meant what they said. I should have trusted my instincts. Because when I finally saw enough for myself to understand what was really happening, I was sick of it. If something feels wrong, don't convince yourself that you're being overly cautious. You aren't. Your child cannot advocate for themselves the way you can. You trust these people with something that is infinitely more important than your money, your schedule, or your convenience.
