I'm writing this one on the Fort Worth page bc I cant find the willow park location on yelp. I…read moretried it today for the first time and wasn't the greatest for me and my children . Number one I will say I misread the sign , thinking they closed at 11, when in actuality they close at 9 m-t. 11 is only Friday and sat. I will take the blame for that. So for starters my daughter and sons name and age are in the computer, and she spelled my daughters name wrong and put my daughters age as 18 months, when she is actually 2.5. Then when I told her she fixed it. It was right there on the screen. I also told them my daughter is potty trained but needs help, and you should ask her bc it's a new place and she will want to play. I also told her I will be back before 11, and she says she didn't hear me bc I got a call at 8:56, are u coming to get your children!? I felt like the worst parent in the world. Panicked and freaked out I rushed from the stock yards to willow park In About 20 mins. I pick up my kids and obviously I'm late, will never forgive myself, bc I was taking my time, and made them wait for me. I feel awful. Anyway I find out it's $1 a minute, which I get Sucks. So I owe for that on top of the hourly. $80 is too much for a few hours with two kids. Also I find out my daughter went to the bathroom in her pants, (even tho they told me she went to the bathroom several times by herself). I'm assuming not one of those times did anyone go In With her, to wipe her or anything bc she went in her pants. And they sent her clothes home with the poop and everything still in it, not even wiped out or hosed off, and all in the same bag. So I had to throw everything away. I think for the price they should be able to take care of that. I will try again bc I am desperate for childcare as we have no family to help and or friends near us, the girls were young and seemed nice but just not experienced enough for the price. I'm hoping the facility is so new they need to work out the kinks. For the hours I recommend the signage in door be changed/ it's hard to tell there are two closing times for different days - I think maybe the later days and hours be one color and separate from the rest. Or say when the parent leaves we close at 9 or 11. Just seems like it would stop issues. I was told that there were still children left at ftw location. Not to feel b I also recommend the hours changes / by day maybe a different color. So it's obvious to people like me who are in a hurry. I know this location is new and I have never gone the ftw one, but I just expected a little more, not sure. - thank you for the fast response. I changed my review to reflect the response owner gave and hopeful that next time will be better

I can't say enough good things about Kiddie Academy. I posted this review on their Google page last year, and all of it still applies and so much more. They have been so amazing through all of the Covid concerns, and worked with us as parents when times were so uncertain. Here is my review from last year: I toured so many daycares before choosing one for my then 18 month old. For some reason this one did not show up on my search and we ended up at Goddard. We spent 6 months there and it was a really rough 6 months... we decided to try a different place because too many incidents continued to happen. We were referred here by a friend, and signed up at our tour. I cannot say enough good things about this center. The rooms are huge. You have the option to see your baby on camera throughout the day. The teachers are so calm and sweet. They go above and beyond the state teacher to child ratio requirement. The front door is very secure. They provide meals, cots and sheets that they wash daily, and sippy cups for you baby. They have an indoor play area for bad weather and a splash pad. Our daughter had a little accident and they were quick to call my husband and I to let us know, and we were able to watch the accident played back to us since there are cameras. Just a tiny fall. There's a million other great things about this center, but these are just the ones that our previous daycare didn't offer. We were also paying more at our previous daycare. We feel so secure here!! Everything we wanted and so much more.

My issues are the liberties they are taking without communicating with parents. Example one, my four year old daughter got in the car to tell me a boy in her class ran around naked and she saw his privates. No one from the school spoke to me about it. When I called, the owner acknowledged that she saw me on the way in and out at pickup and neglected to bring it up. Additionally, my child is now reciting pre-meal prayers that she learned from the teacher. We were never informed that any type of religion would be taught or in required, if we were, we never would have enrolled her.

My almost 4 year old came here last December in the middle of the school year, a week before christmas and he was having severe behavioral issues, and acting out major after attending a different daycare and getting bitten and hurt constantly. He turned angry and I was struggling to deal as I also had a 9 month old at the time and was pregnant. They both bawled their eyes out every single day when I went to drop them off and left sick to my tummy and so heartbroken so many days, sometimes even having to force them out of the car... In addition I had extreme sickness and had a very high risk pregnancy. As soon as my sons started at Premier Prep, they single handily worked with my older son to create a positive, happy boy, who now has self esteem. Many times he has stopped me and reminded me to pray, coincidentally it happens when I most need it. My son is caring, and has gone from hitting to hugging and learning to love his younger brother.. with the arrival of our 3rd son came ever more chaos. He was born 2 months early and almost didn't make it more than once. I also work from home as a lender, and I am tough to deal with. I'm extremely direct, can be very demanding and have a tendency to speak at people. I'm confrontational and don't always start questions out nicely.... And they have handled me with kindness, respect, love and sincere care. Never treating me differently for being a helicopter mom. But here's the deal, I don't have to be anymore.. this place is so safe, and I trust them 10000% with my 3 kids. I used to check the camera at my sons daycare 10 times a day, and call constantly. Never able to focus and get work done, just worrying all day. I can truly say, that has never been the deal here. I never worry. I can't even say what that's worth when you have small kids. Now.. I don't call, I don't check in.. my almost 4 year old was completely potty trained by them at 3 almost over night, he is respectful, loving and happy, and blows me away constantly with how smart he is and how much he knows. They taught my 1.5 year old how to walk, and have completely helped to develop his fine motor control.. he is happy, loving and learning so much as well too, and last my 6 month old... he smiles as big as possible every day and is developing daily. My kid's don't cry when I drop them off..they run in, so happy and can't wait to tell me about their day. You've helped me raise my children and I'll be forever in debt over all that you've taught them educationally and socially.. My sons are learning good character and that is priceless. Thank you for everything. Best decision I ever made coming here.

I will say they do have some amazing teachers I will not talk bad about the teacher they do the best they can do with what they are given. But we had an incident with a teacher screaming and saying racist slurs at my child and after that they purposely tried to make my 3 year old a get kicked out this was all in the hands of two teachers and the assistant director we filed as many reports as we could. I believe one of the teachers physically abuse my son but yet they never would pull cameras. I trusted them with my child and they failed us and many others. We paid full tuition it was one of the cheaper daycares and now we know why. I would keep your kids far away from this school. They don't have the best interest of kids they will protect their abusive employees over the kids. So disappointed! Her teacher never even said good morning or good bye to her!! Also I've repeatedly asked for the owner of this site to respond to me personally. So disappointing. Just another money hungry preschool who doesn't care about kids... Original post:: Would give zero stars if I could. My 4 year old used to go to a Church preschool that had little funding but the teachers were passionate about the students. I was able to text the teachers whenever and get a response asap and even got pictures sent to me throughout the day. I spent 3 times more here at primerose expecting they'd do the same since obviously I'm paying more. So disappointed! None of the teachers would greet my daughter when she arrived at school. My mom would be the one to pick up my daughter but she couldn't locate the teacher anywhere in class. I never got pictures of her or even knew what she did daily. Quit the place right away since my daughter who used to love school cried everyday she had to go here. Never again! And will be spreading the word to others who live near by!

The teachers know all the kids by name and freely greet them whenever they see them, even if the teacher is from a class way above where your child is. The admin staff have always been helpful with information/questions, and greet every parent that walks through the door. If you invite some of the teachers to birthday parties, they come. I've never seen a child shy away from a teacher here. In fact, it's the opposite. The kids RUN to the teachers for a hug. The school teaches conscious discipline, which is about using words to express anger, hurt, etc. no kiddo is belittled, degraded or made to feel invalidated. The outside activities are a good mix (Zumba, Kindermusik, (small) animal handlers, dentists, policemen, etc. Every week has a theme (where does thunder come from? What makes popcorn pop? Why do bubble float?) and corresponding activities. If your son/daughter is in school, they have small bus-vans that drop off in the mornings and pick up in the afternoons. The drivers (who are teachers) TRIPLE check those who get on and off the bus. Then they check every seat to make sure everyone is off when the time comes. Whenever there's been an incident at school (twice in 3 years for us), we've received a written report and talked with the teacher about what happened. We've never felt anything but safe in having our daughter attend here. We unfortunately moved into an adjacent school district that is too far for drop off and pick up, but we will for sure be back for breaks and summers.
