I have had my child there for over 4 years with no problems. The teachers there are very friendly and are concerned for the children's welfare. They offer a very cool learning environment. I now have 2 children going there. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone. (Posted in 2014) It's been a while since I reviewed this. I still have both of my children there. My youngest is now 2 and goes there full time. She loves it there. My oldest only attends for the after School program and during the summer. I'm only giving 2 starts because I want to consider some of good teachers they have. However I can't count how many conversations we had with the director whi ch by the way will always tell you that we are wrong and the school is right "it's just day care"! My son had another kid bite him 2 or 3 times, the teachers and some of them are really good would not stay in the room, you'd always see one them assigned to the kitchen to cook meals or at the front office but not in the class room. I had problems with ants in the playground with my son several times, and ok I understand, it's outside but nothing was done "properly" to solve the issues with ants. It's just sad to see some passionated teachers without supPort to do a good job. We moved to another school that we love with several other kids from CCY who also had some of the same problems. read more

Poor management. A couple good teachers but they never have enough help in the class room. No consistency on communication.

I hardly leave reviews, but let it be known that this daycare is AMAZING!! We started our son at 4 months (currently 10 mo) and we couldn't be more pleased! He loves going into daycare and goes to the teachers with no fuss. I have to say among all the other daycares in the area this is about as good as you get. A umm maybe a curriculum, committed teachers and a less than fanatic staff but helpful and spirited. The location is a possible factor of turnover of attendees but parents looking to attend I advise you ask questions more than you can think of. Don't expect to be consistently informed as a parent similar to other daycares pushing calendars programs while other centers get community support and advertised by word of mouth. The school structure is general with a few standard school wide activities but not too specific by level and more by what the staff feels they could do. Any issues you can call customer service and they will flow to the DM then to Director or just talk to the Director. I advise not taking up issues with them personally as there is no benefit. No outside entity will come and grade them. Parents paying tuition here are making it through the day after all their research to make the optimal choice more than likely by locale than anything else. It would be nice if the school would make it work and become fanatics about programs as advertised. There is more diversity in the classes rather than having a diverse staff. Sometimes odd occurrences happen like some kids are held more and played with independently than others. As far a with the pandemic, nothing special to note differently than anywhere else but if there are cases you notified, standard cleaning is applied and you came back at the specified time. More to say but for I do recommend this as a good daycare. If you prefer a change, give this location a shot because there is room for improvement everywhere. read more

Today I picked my grandson up from daycare and he had another bite mark on his arm. My son has a stack of yellow slips( incident reports) from ALL the times he has been bit. When the teacher said they had a incident slip I told her this was ridiculous he gets bit all the time(sometimes daily all over his body)She proceeded to tell me that It is his fault because he puts his hands in this other child's mouth( my grandson is 15 months old )just wanted other parents and grandparents to know that at this facility if your child gets hurt it is the child's fault... the teachers take NO responsibility. My son pays a very high price to this facility and Puts faith in the teachers to teach and protect our baby. This is wrong and This facility needs attention!! read more

I went to some 6 odd schools and day carers in the area, but the moment I walked in here I knew this is where I will leave my child for most part of his day. My son loves it! They are extremely caring second moms to my 2 & a half year boy. The fees is good, it's Impeccably clean always, teachers are warm. Each day my son cannot stop talking about how fun his day was and how much "his" Ms. Noha or Ms. Kyria took care of him. I love the way he's so attached to everyone is school. I never write reviews, but for this place I felt like I had to. First off, I should have listened to the many negative online reviews about this place before enrolling my child there. One of the first things I saw was how the teachers drag kids by the arm and force them to sit or take naps. They get visibly frustrated and on camera can be seen forcefully holding kids down against their will. They forced my 2 year old to stay seated at a table for an entire hour. What 2 year old on this planet stays seated in a chair over an hour?! On his last day there my son got so stressed that he started hitting himself, and instead of the teacher stopping him or trying to calm him down, she forced him to stay seated at the table. My son got so desperate that he started scratching his neck in frustration, which he had NEVER done before and has never done since. The teacher did not stop him from hurting himself, and instead just stood there, recorded it on video, and did not even call us to tell us what happened. It was the most ridiculously poor managed situation I have ever encountered from a childcare facility. I don't know how these people are still in business but they deserve to be shut down and I have written a report to the Better Business Bureau. I can only hope they're held accountable for the way they treat the kids. Please KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. read more

I will start by saying that I really wanted to love this place and at first I did. My son would cry when I would drop him off but I figured it was just him needing to adjust to going there. It was always very clean and seemed safe, and I loved that you could check in any time with the webcam app and they would also update daily activities (food, nap, diaper changes/potty training) as well as post pictures on the Brightwheel app. The problem started when my son was bit twice in one day, once on the chest and once on the arm. The chest bite broke the skin even through his shirt and he now has a scar from it. I was upset but understood that not everything can be prevented. Fast forward to two weeks later and I'm informed that my son was bit again, this time on the back which broke the skin and bruised him. He was bitten 3 times in a 3 week period and it seemed like NOTHING was being done by the daycare to prevent this from happening. When I brought it up in a conversation with the director, she laughed in my face and said "Well that's just childcare." I don't think that's an acceptable response when your child is being hurt in someone else's care. I wanted to be able to fully trust that my son was in good care when I would leave him, but after those incidents and the response to them by the staff, that trust for me is gone. read more

Okay where do I start. This is my second Childrens Courtyard due to relocating closer to my home . The first location I was fine with until my child transfer to another class due to his age. I was fine with his first teacher she showed a lot of love and attention to all the kids. After my child transfer to his new classroom I started to notice the teachers in the class room snatching other people kids by the arm on a daily basis okay that was enough for me before I witness this happening to my child I requested a transfer to another location hoping and thinking for the best. Now this review brings me to this location. At first your visit seems good they tell you everything you want to hear especially how they follow everything by the book. I don't know why you would want to mention that to a parent but okay. Please keep in mind I later found out that was baloney . My child has a doctors note requesting to have lunch from home . I requested his food to be warmed up. The front desk lady which her name is Tracy, Angela assistance told my son teacher to leave a note saying they are NOT Allowed to Warm up out side food !! I asked why not I was told it was a policy. Oh really let me see this policy guess what that policy could not be found. Again baloney!! Why tell parents at the first visit to your facility that you guys follow every thing by the book but you don't even know what your talking about. Moving on , as a few weeks past I noticed my son teacher get irritated and unpatient with kids. I watched her snatched other people kids by the arm numerous times. I reported this to the director Angela asking to remain anonymous. But that did no justice because the teacher started to be mean towards my child!! Even tho some daycare facilities offer WatchMeGrow cameras parents please take full advantage of it and pay close attention to body language because you never know what you will see. They show favoritism more towards Caucasian children then the other race children !!! Children courtyard at all locations have got to do better before they catch a lawsuit !! I have thought long and hard before leaving this review but I have got to warn other parents before leaving your kids and trusting some of the teachers who are not fit for the job or properly train to care of kids!! And yes I have completely changed daycares since this review!! Spend time with your child before leaving and pay close attention to your child's reaction towards the teacher.. I can honestly say that I was not a fan of Children's Courtyard in the past, but I am glad that I am here. My son went to another daycare under this director, and when she left, I moved too. The director knows my son and has worked with me time and time again over the years. I believe that she has been as invested in my son as I have been, and trust that he is being taken care of when I am out. I also love my son's teacher, who is really good about keeping me abreast of what is going on in the class and how my son is progressing (he is in Pre-K). Highly recommend this location, staff and director have been nothing but good to us since we have been there! read more

After touring school after school in Keller for our one year old, we decided to use this location of The Children's Courtyard. We chose it because when we walked through the door, it was quite and it felt like home to us. The building decor is very inviting and open. ALL of the teachers show an interest in my son as soon as he walks through the doors and I have been extremely happy with the teachers in the infant 2 room. They are wonderful. They are very attentive to all of the children, while displaying a loving, caring temperament. We highly recommend this location, I am so happy that we are here. We started at Children's Courtyard at the beginning of September in the Infant 2 class. We have been blown away by the professionalism and kindness of this school. The transition from at home care to part time daycare made us excited and nervous all at the same time, but Angela and her team helped us feel so at ease. Our little guy has had his challenges, but the teachers in Infant 2 have loved him from day one. Their excellent training and apparent enjoyment of the job offered us so much peace in leaving him in their care. We signed up for the Watch Me Grow ap and it has been so fun to watch him play and learn during the day! The facility itself is so welcoming and CLEAN! All of the rooms have windows and there is a lot of natural night for the kiddos. There is an indoor soft play area and multiple outdoor areas to play at. The sweet staff even has a coffee station for parents! My husband and I cannot say enough good things about CCY and the staff at the Silver Sage location. I was terrified to put my child in a preschool because of all the horror stories you hear. well this place didnt make it any better. on the first day of school my child fell in front of a teacher and the teacher did not help her up, she just looked and walked away! everyday i picked my daughter up she was crying in the lunchroom on her mat. she told me she was scared because she was put between the tables and chairs to nap. on camera the kids and teachers kept walking all over her mat. who puts a child to nap in the middle of a lunchroom between tables and chairs where everyone walks through?? my daughter said she didnt want to go back to that school because they are mean to her. i could see that on camera. i pulled her out of there immediately. there's also way too many students in one class read more

I have had both my babies here; my son is 7 and he's been here since he was 5 months old, he's had teacher that have been here as long as he has and kept that connection. My daughter is going on 2 and has been here since she was 10 months, and absolutely adores her teachers. I cannot find any place better !!!! Highly recommended. read more

I had my son in this child care in the spring of 2013 and they are the worst. My son is high functioning autistic and the pre-k teacher simply did not want to deal with him because he had his behavioral outbursts. He even tried to leave the classroom because he did not like being treated poorly! We were told that the pre-k teacher wanted to help every single child in her class and yet we saw the exact opposite. The happiest our son would be was when one of us would come and get him to take him home. The director and the preschool manager were both so snobby toward us and our child that they simply did not want to deal with him. My wife called earlier this year to get our tax paperwork and they said that they would send it to us. We never received it. Absolutely awful place. I cannot say enough to keep people away from this place! read more

We love this place! We choose Children's Courtyard because of the warm feeling from all the staff. Our youngest daughter has learned so much and is always excited to go to school. Our oldest is in the afternoon school program and loves the staff! When we leave I know our children are being loved and well cared for. We couldn't ask for more. read more

I wish I did not have to give this center any stars at all. This center was a nightmare.... We just pulled my children out because, while watching the cameras, I caught the teacher of my youngest child (the teachers name is Kristine Porter), repeatedly wrapping a blanket around his head and holding him down on the mat at nap time. When I called the center and informed them what was going on they didn't even go check on my child, nor did they remove the teacher while figuring out what was going on. They only removed her from the room before allowing a police office in the building who was there to do a well check on my child (since he wasn't moving and no one checked on him). They then lied to the police, were uncooperative and told him that he had to leave the building?????????? This was a complete nightmare for me and my husband. CPS is currently investigating them for this incident. The regional director said she would be in contact with me and she never called me. They did give us a refund on our yearly registration, weekly tuition and the summer enrollment fees, but I would have much rather of had a director and assistant director who were making sure my child was safe and who would have cooperated with police to make sure that a child is in good hands. Why they chose to leave a teacher in the room who was in question for something so severe AND not check to make sure that my child was BREATHING, is beyond me. Why they would ask law enforcement to leave when they are there to check on the well being of that child, is insane.... I gave this center time to fix other issues, such as the high teacher turn over in my oldest child's class, other teacher issues, etc. But, they just can't seem to keep many teachers for very long. The teachers constantly complain about the director to the parents. This center needs some serious serious help. read more

I enrolled my seven year old son in The Children's Courtyard Fossil Creek for summer because it is convenient to my office. This is the fourth CCY location we have been to and this location is stellar compared to the others (NRH, Keller, Western Center). The staff is attentive, organized and friendly, and the director to parent communication is timely and professional. My son even says the food is much better than the other locations. I was impressed the minute I walked in the facility and the obvious effort placed on education and development; this location is more like a private school than a day care. There are multiple field trips per week, and fun and interesting activities on the days when there is not a field trip. I also appreciate the director's willingness to work with me when our schedule needed to change. Other locations have made us feel as if they don't care if we are there and that is definitely not the case here. I highly recommend this CCY location. read more
