Budget daycare, but they love the kids. It definitely isn't as nice as some places, but I know my kids are safe! Had 2 kids here

From the very beginning, we felt that the administration, teachers, and staff genuinely cared about our son, his development, and our family as a whole. One of the things we appreciate most is how much thought and care goes into the program and daily activities. Our son has been exposed to so many wonderful experiences, from music and dance to gardening and hands-on learning, while also building strong fundamentals like letters, numbers, colors, and independence. The communication and partnership from the school have been exceptional. As parents, this was one of the most important things we were looking for after having a very poor experience with another Montessori school in Keller. At Joyous, communication is proactive, supportive, and thoughtful. We truly feel like they are partners in helping our son learn and grow. Another thing that stands out is the teacher tenure. It's clear that the teachers are happy, supported, and love what they do, and that creates such a positive environment for the children. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Joyous Montessori and cannot recommend them enough. If you are looking for a Montessori school in Keller or the surrounding area, this is absolutely the place to be.

We made the tough decision to transfer our daughter to Children's University to be closer to home…read more I couldn't be happier with the decision. The greatest compliment has been my child saying about her old school, "I'm not returning because I love CU." (Talk about music to our ears when she said that.) CU is a warm, family-oriented environment that caters to the individual child. It provides the academic rigor vital for us, along with a host of enrichment opportunities from robotics and animal husbandry to chess and cheer. During our exploration, what sealed the deal was what we witnessed during our CU tour. We passed a group of children (who appeared close in age to my child) working on a group project in the library. They were discussing their different perspectives and had books that they were referencing. While we knew nothing about the project, I was impressed by how immersed they were in the work, and all appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the educational experience. So many vital skills were underway without them knowing it, which filled us with optimism about our child's future development at CU. Our family couldn't be happier to be part of the CU family. Our daughter is thriving; she has the best, most wonderful teacher. It's a true partnership, and we're beyond grateful. If you're looking for a program for your child, I recommend CU. It's a blend of academic excellence with a curriculum that challenges and inspires, enveloped in the most attentive environment dedicated to helping your child reach their fullest potential.

I don't want to be a teacher but if I were I'd want to be like the ones who shaped my time here. It makes me tear up thinking about all I experienced from meeting famous authors, starring in musicals, tipping in my Halloween costume on the yellow brick road, and that one time I refused to color in my connect the dots assignments and it was sent home with a note (my mom later framed it). Arlington is already diverse but it was good to see all the different backgrounds my friends were. If you're wondering if your kids will value going here, I am certain they will remember it fondly as CU fostered my love for reading, adventure, and friendship.
