I'm a first time Mother and I have not spent one day away from my daughter since she was born. Part of that is my family is about 45 minutes from me, and the other is I never want to be away from her. I'm extremely hands on with her and I don't mind that at all. I heard about Kids Park from Moms in a group I'm in on Facebook, and Heather offered the group a waived registration fee so I finally took my daughter. My husband and I walked in and immediately I knew she'd be fine. There were TONS of toys for her to play with, a play area with a slide (I knew they'd never get her off of that lol), and more. They put her name on her back before I even finished the paperwork and let her in. Right away, they took all the pre-schoolers into a room to dance to The Wiggles and I will admit, I had tears in my eyes knowing my baby was getting bigger. While they had the preschoolers dancing, they had the older kids doing other things but they were careful that my daughter was never hurt or bothered by them. They didn't even start the clock until I handed the paperwork back. My daughter was never left alone (far as I saw) and we walked out. We stayed in the shopping area the entire hour, mostly because we had nothing else to do lol. When we came back, they were carrying her out of the snack area and they said she just wasn't eating so they were bringing her back out to play. Once they handed her to us we smelled that she needed her diaper changed. I asked if I could step back and do it and instead they took care of her for me! I was a little confused as to why they didn't change her (You could definitely smell that she needed it) but I figured if it just happened how would they have known? Everyone was so nice and understanding, saying they were used to seeing Moms as emotional as me and it was "harder on the Moms than the kids to say goodbye". I'll be bringing her back soon, and I think it'll be great for her. I am not putting her in the preschool program though simply because what they're going over, shes already too advanced for it. read more

My daughter absolutely loves going to KidsPark! I love it too because It's so affordable compared to other childcare options. The drop-in process is incredibly convenient. I can run errands or go to appointments without stressing about finding a sitter. The staff is honestly the best part. Every single person there is so sweet, kind, and genuinely caring. When my daughter has a hard time at drop-off, they always greet her with a big smile and know exactly how to help her calm down and feel safe. I never worry when she's there because I know she's in loving hands. They also do so many fun activities with the kids, arts and crafts, games, story time, and even themed projects. My daughter comes home excited to show me what she made. She always has paint or glitter somewhere on her, which honestly just proves how hands-on and creative the center is. The place is always clean, organized, and bright, and you can tell they put real effort into making it a fun, safe space for the kids. She leaves happy every single time. If you're looking for flexible, affordable, trustworthy childcare, I can't recommend KidsPark enough. We're so grateful for them! read more

Not gonna lie, I was a lil nervous to drop my toddler off here just because I had never taken her to ant kind of day care before. Now I've brought her here probably 10 times and she loves it! I love that there is a reliable place to take her here and there.... also probably cheaper than a babysitter and she gets to have adventure time. Please be mindful that policies and procedures are not communicated effectively, and when brought to the attention of management, accountability is not received. We have frequented KidsPark for a few years now and have even gone as far as to recommend others at times. However, additional staff training is needed. We have had our children's belongings thrown away multiple times - diapers, sippy cups, and shoes. We have been invoiced in an untimely fashion, and we have experienced a dilemma in which the cutoff time for lunch orders was improperly communicated. When bringing concerns to upper management, expect an insincere apology. The facility is nice and the hours are convenient, but there is no room for error on behalf of the parents. Do not forget your children's items. Even if you proactively call to inquire about left items, lunch times, or hours of operation, expect that information to change upon your arrival contingent upon who you're speaking with. It's very unfortunate. It's a much needed service - valuable, but there's little understanding for parents trying to proactively manage multiple things, and it's quite surprising given that this franchise is indeed run by women that they themselves were once parents of young children. read more

We began taking our son there almost three years ago, he can be tough to handle and we sought help and found he had a disability , We referred probably 25 to 30 people and spent a great deal of money there as well. ( in the thousands) They have three staff members that are great and love our son. Unfortunately the director does not like him and has made it her personal vendetta to insure that anytime there is an issue he is to blame. She has been ruthless in her dealings with him and has no tolerance for most kids, she clearly went out of her way to make his time there difficult. We have seen her roll her eyes at him and treats him very poorly she clearly should not be working with children. They are not at all equipped to take care of children with special needs and when they found out the director made it even worse. While there is an owner, she seems to go buy whatever is said by others, They do not make any reasonable adjustments for kids with adhd,spd etc They allow close to 60 to 70 kids in what looks like an 800-900 square foot location. Clearly to many kids for the size , but hey at 7.50 per hour pack em in and let them go crazy ( except the children with disabilities) We are very disappointed with the treatment of our son, we are saddened by there lack of compassion, stability and overall management. They clearly have no regard for special needs kids at all . We were told not to bring him there in the morning because he cannot sit still ( a five year old disabled kid) My wife made a decision to break ties there but lashing out at the director and then calling me it was the right thing to do. We told our son he would not be attending any more and he had the following to say.. : I never got to tell them how much I care about them" Clearly the child got it right , caring is what is most important in this field and they do not. Update: After reading the review of the owner our son did not hurt another child. In fact if you read the BBB site you will see another complaint from another parent very similar in fact identical to this one. it is the POLICY OF THIS PLACE to state a child has "attacked" someone when they do not want to properly supervise. The complaint on the BBB site shows a 4 YEAR OLD GIrl attacking someone. Our son was KICKED ON THE GROUND and the child that did it was left to stay....He was attacked! The director of this facility cannot properly supervise the kids and she blames the kids for her inability to manage 5 year olds. We now realize that it was never our son as he has had ZERO COMPLAINTS IN CHURCH , OR OTHER PLACES WE TAKE HIM. Quit blaming the kids for your directors lack of compassion and patience with kids. That is just pathetic, I am going to say this ... you have THREE INCREDIBLE EMPLOYEES THAT CARE ABOUT OUR SON. You should promote one of them as they clearly know how to care for kids,. Your director is horrible. Your total square footage is 2000 that includes - bathrooms, counter space,office, lobby, walls, the play area is not 2000 sq ft. read more

Update: 5 years later and I'm still taking my kids, which include a new addition since my first review, to Kids Park. They are still priced right and even offer a discount every time just for having your kids wear a Kids Park T-Shirt. My kids always beg to stay a little bit longer. I read the bad reviews and I have to say, in my opinion, Kids Park has handled those situations extremely professionally and they responded very respectfully to the public complaints. The people that run and work at this place are extremely good with kids and do their best to accommodate everyone. If you have a problem child, it's not their fault. Take those reviews with a grain of salt and trust a dad with 2 "fragile" girls, 4 & 7, who have never once come home sad from Kids Park. read more

Picked up my 2 year old son and he looked like he was crying. I asked him in the car because he kept looking down when I asked if he was ok and told me the teacher whooped him. Since they had closed a little after I got there I called and left voicemails then they called back the next day and all they had to say was no it never happened so I asked about cameras and they said they only have the one covering the door. No apologies no reassurance no nothing. Unfortunately you have to add a star but I would give this place no stars because I didn't receive the comfort I needed as a parent and they didn't even care. read more

I recently reached out to the owners after a few less than satisfying visits. I shared my concerns and instead of getting an apology or finding out how we can be on the same page when it comes to caring for my child, I received a 3 hour compensation and a response shaming my son who has some developmental delays and redirecting the blame towards me. I don't have peace of mind leaving my child here. I should be able to collaborate with my child's caregiver, not be belittled, argues with and then thrown a compensation to shut me up. read more

This is a VERY clean drop in child care center. Lots of group activity or free play options, regardless of age group. My child was excited to explore and asks regularly when we can return. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ... this is the place any single parent needs in their life. Yanira (sorry if I misspelled her named) was AWESOME! Had us in & out and in time for our plans. I love that I saw the staff and how they interacted with the children. My kid said he had fun and would go back anytime !! Especially when he doesn't want to go places with me. I absolutely LOVE This Place! The only flaw is that they don't have one in the Mckinney/Allen/Frisco/Plano Area in other words Far North Dallas since I relocated that way . I have used several hourly drop in Childcare places throughout the south east because I travel with a lot. This one and 1 other one in Nashville TN have been the best ones. They keep your kids active, from basketball, to art, the teenagers that work there are super high energy and happy. and, the owners have just as much energy! I love them. There are other ones like adventure playcare however they are not as evolved as kids park. They remind me of just being a daycare. and, Kids park is by no means like that. I'm a single mom and just moved back to Dallas about two years ago, I was working and pursuing an MBA when I found the kidspark! What a lifesaver! I could drop my kid off and do my homework in peace and he would be TIRED and go straight to bed. I was able to finish my masters because I found kids park. IF my son had an injury or something I would be verbally told by the staff (I think most know Julian) or when he acted out I was told as well. Whenever I want a date night it's really convenient to drop my son off here and go somewhere nearby. The staff is always friendly and because my son is a military dependent and I'm a government employee we get a discount! The hours are great. I too would like to have the arts and crafts my son makes if any and if I pay for food and he doesn't eat it all, I would like to bring it with me but those are minor issues that wouldn't prevent me from bringing my son back. He loves it, it's safe, and I'm comfortable knowing he's there and enjoying it. In fact he will e there Sunday morning as I have a business function to go to. KidsPark is excellent place for kids if you have date night or any other errands you have to run. Registration was easy. My only change would be to register online instead of filling out paperwork and bringing it with you. My children had an OUTSTANDING time. The ladies are very courteous. I love how you can purchase food for lunch or dinner for a small fee. My kids love going to KidsPark. The area is spacious and clean. No funky smells like you would encounter in a daycare setting. I have been taking my son to Kid's Park for about 3 years now. The staff is friendly and caring and even on days when it gets hectic, they maintain their professionalism. They seem to really care about the kids and take interrest in all the activities. The "blue crew" is for children who are 5 and older and involves activities and areas where the smaller kids can't get to, which I really liked when my son was smaller. This place is great for me because I am in school and both my husband and I work so on days when I just need someone to take care of him for a little while this place really comes in handy. I am very picky about where my son goes so I did a lot of research before I went to Kid's Park. There was one incident report, which was a documented accident sheet, that I received a while back when my son got hit in the head accidentally. I was surprised to get documentation for such a minor accident but I really appreciated it. There have been times in the past when my son, like all kids, could be a pain and it was addressed upon me picking him up, which I liked because I could personally address it with him when we got in the car. The staff has been very consistent through the years with few turn-over. I appreciate the dedication and care they have given my son and will continue taking him there as long as I can. I really love the flexible hours and when I had morning classes, they offered pre-school activities until around noon and I was always given a sheet with what they learned that day. I really liked that. Another plus is the price and location. Overall, I have been completely satisfied with this place. read more
