My son has been a student at Newman for five years. After the first year I was so happy with the…read moreschool and the caring environment, I applied for a teaching position and was lucky enough to get the opportunity to work at Newman. The class sizes are smaller, the curriculum is amazing, my son is an honor student and is excelling not only academically, but at life. I love working at Newman. We have the greatest staff and teachers that truly care about their students. There is genuine love for students and their families at Newman and it is a very safe and beautiful environment as well! The reviews below made me so sad. I am sure that caring parents reading the reviews will be able to read between the lines and understand that for whatever reason the reviews were written by people that were upset with the school for enforcing policies, behavior expectations, and school rules that are outlined in the Student Handbook - which every parent and student receives and then signs an acknowledgement of receipt and understanding. of the contents. Students are allowed to wear any jacket outside, the Newman approved school jackets are for inside. Newman does enforce the dress code and I am glad. If I am following the rules and providing the proper uniform for my child, I expect other parents to do the same. Newman is a school that follows the rules and policies. As a parent of a student here, and an employee, I am so happy. I have a good student that does his job and behaves well. If that is the type of student you have, or want your child to be, this is the place for you! Try it - you will love it here!

I currently go to this school and I can tell you that this school is utterly unacceptable for a…read moreschool for I will get into trouble for petty little reason wether school has begun or not as well as the fact that there are various bugs and animals such as frogs and spiders that is often spotted by fellow students is a pretty big problem especially for those with allergies. The rules and policies is complete bullshit for they attempt to enforce rules before and after school hours wich is complete bullshit as well as the school uniform for wether you have a non newman jacket you can get either an infraction or iss(in school suspension)wich happens a lot for as the weather changes kids are getting in trouble for wearing there jacket in a cold classroom and I refuse to include other things for that would take a lot of time wich i do not have unfortunately.

I originally opted for a Facebook review only, but since they then hid those, I am posting here as…read morewell. Our children attended MPS for 4 years. During this time, we volunteered and gave to the school as much as we were able because we wanted to support the community our children were in. Beginning in September of 2025, we began to have concerns about behaviors / conversations occurring and it continued throughout the school year. We always tried to be gentle and respectful when bringing these concerns to the attention of administrators. Finally, with two weeks of school left, we made the decision to completely withdraw and cancel the re-enrollment of both of our children after our safety concerns were met with a refusal for answers, zero accountability, hostility and even pitting families against one another. I won't claim to have handled this perfectly because there was so much frustration once we started being treated poorly simply for having concerns and being denied answers from individuals who our children were under the care of for 30+ hours per week. I explained many times that I did not expect personal information of any student, I just wanted clarification on policies, what behaviors would or would not be allowed, and how similar situations would be handled in the future. As a Christian Private School - which MPS claims to be - with so many children under their care, they are absolutely held to a higher standard and should be able to have hard conversations, be accountable, professional and respectful to ALL families - especially when it comes to the safety of their children. The repeated phrase of admin was that how we feel is not their responsibility and if we don't like it we can withdraw - which is exactly what we did. Added for perspective - I want to draw your attention to the laugh reactions on our reviews. These are from a current teacher at MPS (admin's mother) and the BIBLE teacher at MPS (admin's husband) - neither of which were involved with any of our communications. Sadly, it just continues to prove our point. If at the time you are ready this they are no longer there, it may be because they realized as much.

Our son was accepted to a Christian school where we will be living and and he'll be entering at the top half of his class which speaks volumes to MPS and his teacher, Mrs. Howard. His new school was very impressed with his assessment saying it was rare for a child to come in mid-year knowing what he knows. I'm so thankful for MPS and the love that's been poured into our son and his education. We weren't just seeking education for him when we found MPS. We wanted him to have the opportunity to thrive, contribute, and make a positive impact wherever he went - somewhere he could further his character and deepen his faith. Additionally, we wanted someone who would invest in nurturing his little soul with Christian values and MPS, Mrs. Howard, and the rest of the MPS staff have delivered 100%. So thank you, to each and every one of you, for everything you do to make MPS what it is.

Enrolling my son his was the worst mistake EVER! With my son being new to daycare I was well aware…read moreof the daycare "bugs" that would make him sick. Nevertheless, he attended this place for a month and was sick everyday week! I had him on vitamins as well as antibiotics hence he got an ear infection while attending. I returned his to this place with his doctors note from children's hospital clearing him to return... I mentioned to the owner I took him to the primary care doctor to get an antibiotic shot as children's didn't have it in their quick clinic she wanted a not from there as well as if the note from the hospital wasn't sufficientMoreover, there was NEVER any communication in regards to if he ate all of his food, if he had a poop or pee diaper, if he took a nap, if they had arts and crafts!!!! Nothing!!! Also, they had me standing outside of the daycare for pickup until I questioned her about it and then she stated I needed to Sign a background form... I was later able to enter the school and stand in the door entry way let's mention the lunch menu for infants -beans, rice, bread, peaches , turnip greens and water! hence why my son was hungry everyday when I picked him up this is not the type of food that interests a toddler (1 year old)! I picked him up one day the owner was eating a hot dog... I thought why is that not on the menu for the children? In conclusion don't send your baby to this place if you have any concerns for their health and development! Save your 150 week and go elsewhere! I had to put a star so it would post my review but if I didn't I wouldn't
