Century Pilates has changed the quality of my life for the better and I have fallen in love with…read morethe art of Pilates. I have a couple of injuries with the worst being a herniated cervical disc, which caused me to have constant head pain and limited range of motion in my neck. My doctor prescribed me Pilates as he knew I wanted to stay active but my current fitness regime was keeping my injury in limbo. I tried a couple of other Pilates Studios but it left me with additional pain in my neck area. I decided to call Century Pilates and spoke with the owner Emily about my situation. Emily suggested I start with private lessons first with an instructor who was certified in ELDOA. The Instructor I worked with was Tamara and upon my first session I knew I was in great hands as she knew what to do and not to do with my body and I started to feel better within the first 2 weeks. 6 months later and I feel better than I have in a very long time, haven't had any head pain and my doctors have also expressed to me that Pilates is doing wonders for my issues and suggested I keep it up! All the Instructors are so patient, skilled/knowledgeable , and just absolutely amazing! If you're looking for a Pilates Studio, Century Pilates is the place! Thank you so much Century Pilates for being the place I found healing and a new passion!

This is a wonderful place to try traditional reformer Pilates safely. FYI, this is not a mega…read morereformer type of studio with loud music, micro pulsing until muscle failure or someone yelling in the mic "yes you can!" And thank goodness for that. The instructors are very hands on and there are a variety of classes and levels. My favorite thing about going to this studio all these years is that each class remains fresh and fun- flows are not repeated and you get out as much as you put in to the class. I recently celebrated my 250th class and can honestly say this is the only consistent thing I have done for my health. Coming from an orange theory background as well as casual running and lifting, I have never found another workout that keeps me coming back. It is low cortisol inducing, super fun and a great place to mentally reset for 50 minutes of your day. Front desk is always so friendly. Although I love all the instructors, shout out to Mackenzie and Aaliyah for always teaching immaculate classes and encouraging slow, CONTROLLED practice and correct form. For anyone on the fence, I definitely recommend trying out a free intro class and seeing if this will be a good addition to your routine. The only negative thing i have to say is the parking can be abysmal, so come early to avoid stress-circling the parking lot and settle into your station.

EDIT/Response to Business: This review is definitely about Parkway Central in Arlington. Not sure why the owner wants to check my location & try to discredit my review. DFW is fairly large and blends together. I rarely bother to review unless I feel it's been an extreme disservice. I have no interest in further communication. You had plenty of opportunities to make things right. The studio runs amazing because of those doing the real work on the floor. You'll be fine. Just do better. Period.

So right away that threw me off. But I was like still let me give them a chance. A couple days ago I had inquired about hosting a birthday party here and they told me someone would reach out and they never did. So when I went I guess the front lady, not sure if she was the owner recognized my name because she asked me if I was the one who was inquiring about hosting a birthday party. I let her know yes it was me. She stated only members can host things like this which is totally understandable, just don't know why I was never called or emailed and told. After that I figured she would ask for my business or if I was thinking of signing up to be a member but nope none of that. Mind you, I already booked Carries Pilates to host the birthday so that is totally fine. Secondly the instructor didn't greet me when I walked into the class either, again this was all very different for me just because the other places have been so friendly. The class was awesome and I got a good sweat in. Once it was over I wasn't asked how I liked the class or if I wanted to come back, again all new I guess other Pilates studios have set the bar high for me when it comes to greatly friendly customer service. If the customer service was better I would deff give 5 stars. Will I be back? Absolutely not, definitely felt out of place and not wanted.
