I would not recommend this Dogtopia location to anyone…read more An aggressive dog attacked our dog while in their care and left him with a three-inch gaping wound in his skin that required stitches. What's even more upsetting is that the daycare never informed us that anything had happened. We discovered the injury ourselves after bringing our dog home. The fact that aggressive dogs are allowed around other dogs is already concerning, but the complete lack of communication and transparency afterward is unacceptable. We trusted this facility to keep our dog safe and to notify us immediately if there was ever an incident. They failed to do both. Please be cautious before bringing your pets here.

Disappointing experience! We brought our dog here hoping to find a well staffed, well supervised…read moreday care. That wasn't the case. We got a call recently that our dog had been bitten due to another dog "correcting" him. The bite wasn't a little corrective nip, this broke the skin and bled, clearly aggressive. Our dog has never injured another dog or person in his life, yet they chose to blame the dog that did no harm instead of being concerned that they had an aggressive dog on their hands. A suggestion: having more than one coach in the room (the coach had no idea there was an issue until the injury was seen), more education on warning signs to be aware of so possible problem situations can be de-escalated before an injury. Their response to blame our pup for provoking another dog to bite (which was said to us multiple times) was the final straw. If you can't keep our dog safe, there's no way we're going to continue to bring him. We canceled immediately.

So it had been awhile since I'd utilized Jet Pet, but I remembered loving them previously and trusted them again while I was away in NYC for a wedding with my husband. I left my kids and my older dog, Georgia with my father in law for the weekend, but decided to treat Neymar, my 8 month old puppy, to a staycation at JPR. Based on the report card I received, the pictures that were posted, and how tired Neymar was when I picked him up five days later, he had an absolute blast! I swear - he was sad to leave when I drove him home! I'll definitely return for boarding... and perhaps even some doggy daycare too. Thanks to the fabulous staff at Jet Pet for taking good care of my pup!

He is a high-energy, playful dog, but we've taken him to other daycares without any issues and have always been told that his energy level is completely manageable. I understand that every daycare has different policies and that staff need to keep all of the dogs safe, but it's upsetting to pay for daycare and find out that my dog is spending his time separated rather than being allowed to play and socialize. If they don't feel they can accommodate an energetic dog, I wish that had been communicated to us upfront instead of continuing to accept him for daycare. Overall, I just don't feel like my dog is welcomed or treated kindly here, and that's not how I want to feel when leaving him somewhere that I'm trusting to care for him. We'll be taking him elsewhere going forward. I would recommend looking into other options. I highly recommend Pet Play House or Second Home Pet Resort.

My dog was involved in a serious incident with another dog while in their care. I was told by 24/7 Dogs that the incident was not my dog's fault, but despite my repeated concerns, they would not allow me to see the video of what actually happened. That was a huge problem for me. If something happens to my dog while he is in your care--especially something serious enough to involve another dog--I believe I should be able to understand exactly what happened. Instead, I was expected to accept their explanation while being denied access to the footage that could have shown me for myself. When I pushed the issue and spoke publicly about my concerns, the response wasn't greater transparency. I was served with a cease-and-desist letter from an attorney. Two years later, that is still what bothers me most about the experience. Dogs can't tell us what happened to them. We depend on the people caring for them to be transparent when something goes wrong. I'm sharing my personal experience so other owners can make their own decision. If you're considering leaving your dog here, I would ask very specifically what happens if your dog is involved in an incident, whether you will be allowed to see available video, and how the company handles owners who question what happened. Based on my experience, I would never trust my dogs to this company again.

I even got a personalized call from Dan to come to the grand opening and also to consider bringing my dog Bailee by. While we're working on some reactivity issues with Bailee, we hope to get to the point soon where we can bring her to Central Bark to take advantage of so many wonderful services so close to home. We attended the grand opening which gave us the opportunity to meet the staff, learn about services, get a tour of the facility, learn about special offers, try some tasty food, and visit vendors visiting for the grand opening. There was even a (dog) "kissing booth" (or room). The vendors offered creative companies that feature pet/animal services. Snacks included bagels, Jimmy John's, and more. They gave us coupons for grooming and boarding. The staff all seemed very nice and certainly very helpful. The physical space is so much larger than you'd expect when just walking into the main welcome area. You can learn more about Central Bark at https://www.centralbarkusa.com/paradise-valley to join their mailing list or check out their many services. There are coupons on the website so that you can try a free day of enrichment dog day care, 20% off first night of dog boarding, and 20% off first dog bath or groom. They are open weekdays from 7 AM to 7 PM and on weekends by appointment only. While we don't have Bailee going over to Central Bark yet, we anticipate it is only a matter of time before she heads over there. Likely, first for a grooming, and later for other services. We're glad they opened nearby!

We are OBSESSED with Central Bark and can't recommend it enough! If you have a dog, this place is…read moreseriously a game changer. From the moment we walked in, it felt different in the best way: clean, organized, and run by people who truly understand and love dogs. They even made a personalized Christmas ornament for us with our dogs paw print :) We started with their free Puppy Hour and it was the perfect intro, safe, controlled, and such a great way to build confidence and social skills. After seeing how excited our dog was to go (like... happy wiggles the second we pull up), we were sold. What we love most is how flexible it is. No huge monthly commitment, just a reasonable per-day option that works perfectly with our hybrid work schedules and travel. And the daily "report cards" are everything: real updates, adorable pictures, and it's so clear they actually know your dog and pay attention. Central Bark's whole-dog approach is the reason we chose them over anywhere else. They emphasize balanced play, rest breaks, enrichment, small groups, and extra one-on-one attention if your pup wants it. It's not just "chaos in a room" with no supervision. It's thoughtful care that leaves our dog happy, calm, and fulfilled. And Dan, the owner, is amazing! He's so attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested. He remembers names after one interaction, makes you feel welcome, and treats your dog like family. Even with a bit of a drive, we wouldn't take our dog anywhere else. If you're on the fence, GO! The first day is free anyways, so it's no risk or commitment. You and your pup are going to love it.
