They do not respond at all. Called. Went online filled out forms. No call. Nothing. They have in writing they will respond. Didn't do so.

My dogs love going to camp and come home nice and exhausted. Every staff member is courteous and professional. They greet my dogs by their names upon arrival and they will generally update me on how the day went as well. Best of all I can check in on the girls anytime during their stay on the video cameras. This is such a comfort! I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow. read more

i wanted to update my review based on the response from the owner, Julie, who asked me to call to resolve this issue. however, i did call. i called immediately after the situation. i was given almost no response. the staff member who i spoke to said they would let you know that my dog caught kennel cough at your facility. so either the staff did not let you know and my concerns were ignored, or they did and you have received multiple complaints about kennel cough from your customers. or you quite simply did not care and never reached out. i attempted to remedy the situation when it happened but have since moved out of arizona, it would have been nice to be able to use our prepaid daycare days before leaving. additionally, if another dog had kennel cough and you were informed of this, i would have liked to have been informed just in case, so i would hope other dog parents were made aware when we contacted camp bow wow about ours. you also let me know that kennel cough is highly contagious and the vaccines are not 100% effective. whilst i am aware of this information, i don't believe my dog caught kennel cough from being around other dogs. i believe he caught it in his kennel/room. he tends to lick furniture and lick his paws, which my other dog does not. i believe this issue arose from the facilities or dog bowls not being clean enough. he is not unique in licking furniture, though, as many dogs do this so i feel as though the facility should have been clean enough to allow for this. you show your cleaning supplies during the tour so i would imagine they were strong enough to kill bordatella, seeing as vets are able to get these cleaning products as well. you also let me know that the dogs were fed separately, which is good to know. however, the issue with the food is that i brought my dogs' food in and they were labelled with their names and measured accordingly. one of my dogs eats more food than the other due to their sizes and weights. during their stay, their collars were switched, also meaning one of my dogs was wearing a far too tight collar that no adjusted, and one of my dogs was being underfed whilst the other was being over fed. when we brought them in they were wearing the correct collars and their paperwork has their weight and coat colour information and the two dogs are not even the same colours. i also voiced my concerns to the staff when i picked them up at the end of their stay about their collars being switched and that they were therefore fed the wrong food. whilst i'm not bothered that one dog got to enjoy a bit of extra food for a few days, i am very upset that my other dog lost 4 pounds and was at his lowest weight since he was a year old. again, i reached out about this already and was essentially ignored. i don't want the situation remedied at this point, as there has been ample time for that and, again, i voiced my concerns on two separate occasions and they were not acknowledged; my opinion of camp bow wow will not change. i no longer live in the area and the money spent on daycare days and vet bills and antibiotics is already gone. this was my experience with camp bow wow and i wanted to share it so other pet owners are aware. read more

My dogs were completely neglected. I wanted to check up on them so a couple hours after I dropped them off I went around to the back (without Camp Bow Wow staff knowing) where they just let the dogs be outside in the enclosed area and there were dogs constantly barking and some were getting into aggressive sounding fights and there was no attempting to stop it. I stayed to listen for a long time and this went on and on. If I wanted my dogs left outside in a yard to bark all day and possibly get hurt by another aggressive dog, then I would save my money and leave my dogs in my own back yard. This place is terrible and I'm concerned for the safety of the dogs. read more

I will admit up front that this review is about the process to board here and has nothing to do with the actual facility. I called today and spoke to someone about boarding my dog for the first time next week. I had already spoken to another boarding location and knew that they may not have availability so I the first thing I did was confirm that they had availability and that she was a new dog and would require an assessment. She confirmed that there was availability and said she would send me the paperwork to fill out. I never got the paperwork and had to go to the website to fill out the form on my own. I would have done it earlier if she had just told me to do that. Part of that form requires me to put in the date I preferred for the assessment and the first date of boarding, but when they emailed me they asked when I wanted my dog to be assessed. Why ask in the form if you're not going to use the information? They responded to my email that the only Saturday they had available for assessment wasn't for two weeks. When I asked for any day they said they didn't have anything for assessment until five days after the boarding would have ended. I understand that it's busy for boarding right now, but the fact that it took nine hours for them to tell me they didn't have any assessment times available until after I was planning to pick my dog up from boarding, when they should have known that when I spoke to them this morning was very annoying. I assumed I was done searching and now I have to start all over again with only four days left until I leave. read more

I absolutely love this place! And so does my dog! The whole staff is amazing and my dog never wants to leave! Julie is always so nice and so easy to talk to that it's like talking to a friend. They have an app where you can make reservations and watch their live cameras of your fur baby playing. I have never been more satisfied with a doggy daycare for my German shepherd. The grooming is also on top of it, my shepherd has never been more fluffy after a bath! They are also not breed racist and are so accepting of all breeds. I will never go anywhere else for care of my baby. read more

We were visiting Mesa AZ over Thanksgiving and took our dog to Camp Bow Wow Dobson Ranch while there. I had contacted staff before hand as our dog frequents a Colorado Camp Bow Wow. They were quick to respond and helpful in getting everything set up in advance. Once in Arizona we were able to set up an intro and a couple days of daycare. This place is clean, well run and on top of things. Our dog had a great time and I was comfortable leaving him there. He would always come out happy and tired. The webcams were great. Staff was very pleasant, experienced and attentive. I highly recommend this place! read more

The people working here are completely incompetent. First, if you email them you will never get a response. When you follow up via phone call, they don't even acknowledge the fact of how unprofessional it was that I never heard back, they almost sound proud to have never responded to their online requests. They also sound proud that their availability for grooming is booked far out, forcing you to wait for their services. Not only that, they give you absolutely no information of what they'll expect regarding things like applications and vaccine records until AFTER you wait 2 weeks and arrive at the time of your appointment. I'll be clear, I totally understand that they need this information, but let's be proactive and do it ahead of time, right? Nope, then you all just wasted your time, waiting and fussing around on the day of, all for nothing. THEN, you provide all of your paperwork for up to date shots at the Veterinarian standards, and they will tell you that they don't accept a vaccination that lasts 1 year if it was given more than 6 months ago. So these uneducated folks are cutting the half life of a doctor administered vaccine in HALF. When I addressed them face to face and said I was disappointed and expected more of their services they just LOOKED AWAY and IGNORED me - literally in front of my face. Time to get some professional training for this team to learn basic communication and customer service skills. I wish them the best but I will never know if they're able to turn things around because I will never return. read more
