Cameron Estate and Inn is a fine place to have a wedding. It's not the largest place, but their beautiful grounds and traditional decor make up for it. It may be difficult for some to find, especially if following printed directions; I had to pull over to make sure I was on the right track. Anyway, I arrived 10 minutes late and was surprised to see the ceremony was already IN PROGRESS. They sure don't fool around. Inching up the driveway, past the seated guests - conscious of my car's engine noise - I bypassed the parking lot since it was packed to capacity, parking in the auxiliary lot. Really, these folks don't fool around. By the way, weddings with open bars and TOP SHELF ALCOHOL are seriously kick ass. This wedding did NOT fool around. (Shout-out to bartender Christy!) I'm glad the newlyweds found such a wonderful venue to celebrate their union and - more importantly - were able to find one other.

We got so many compliments on the location, and our guests had full run of the terrace, the grounds, and the reception hall.

She was there to delegate task and set up the venue so beautifully. Charlotte did an amazing job with the cocktail hour food. And Brian was there till the bitter end helping us clean up from the beautiful party we had. He was very kind, patience, and a great driver of the golf cart! At no part of the day did we feel rushed or were forced into a time schedule because Hannah, Brian, and the other staff kept the day moving along so smoothly. The view was so breathtaking as the sun set. And the gardens is so peaceful all lit up at night. Having our wedding at Lauxmont farms was the best YES we said while planning our wedding. It doesn't necessarily look like that as you drive up. The only downfall is that there is only one restroom. The pricing seemed decent. I was super pleased that they had a small selection of mocktails. Their strawberry lemonade spritz wasn't too sweet or too tart! It was just right. My friends seemed to enjoy all the wine choices! Additionally, the crab pretzel was amazing!! The charcuterie boards looked worth it. Plenty of seating and a live band was set up around 6/630, but we left just as they were coming in. Highly recommend and would come back (even as a sober lady!).

Set on rolling Pennsylvania countryside, the views are straight out of a postcard. It's peaceful, scenic, and exactly the kind of place where time slows down (in the best way). The wine list is well thought out, approachable yet refined, with something for every palate. Nothing felt mass-produced or rushed and each pour had intention behind it. The staff deserves real credit: knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely proud of what they're pouring. They guide you without the wine snob energy, which makes the experience feel relaxed and inviting, whether you're a casual sipper or a full-on wine enthusiast. This stop elevated our Lancaster trip and added a fresh layer to a tradition we already love. Grandview Vineyard isn't just a winery, it's an experience worth building into your itinerary. We should have been notified prior to our arrival, and I would have made other arrangements. The reason we select a bed and breakfast is for the breakfast. My guess is the kitchen is not up to code, and they are not allowed to serve food. The place is filthy, and the host is very unorganized. When we arrived the host took us to our room (no locks on the doors) and showed us our bathroom which was a separate room (we had to leave our room to use the bathroom). The bathroom light was not working and not enough towels. The host told us they would fix the light and then she went to another room and grabbed towels for us. The first time I took a shower I found a dirty hand towel hanging on the shower knob. So, I'm sure the bathroom was not properly cleaned. There was one dresser in our room, and all the drawers were full of personal junk, there was no place to put our clothes other than a hanger that was hanging on the wall. A microwave that didn't work and a small fridge that had ice build-up and needed cleaned were in our room. The downstairs was worse, looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the mansion was built, so bad that we would not sit in the living room or spend any time in the lower level. The day we left we walked around the property, and the place is overgrown with weeds. And on top of all this the host has accused us of stealing two of the nasty towels and breaking a defective window blind that was in our room. I guess they need the extra money to fix this place. We were very disappointed and do not recommend this place.
