It causes disruptions during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception when people are trying to park where the bridal party is walking for the ceremony, or when people are trying to eat on the patio or play games.

3 days ago We got married at The Mill at Manor Falls one…read moremonth ago! It was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! The Mill is gorgeous! The first floor was used for our reception. It comfortably fit 17 tables (with room for more), a sweetheart table, a dance floor, and a permanently installed bar. As well as the gift table, cake table, memorial table, DJ booth, and a buffet line for dinner. The room had a beautiful cozy ambiance with lower ceilings and string lights wrapped throughout the room. The second floor and outside on their patio is where we had our cocktail hour, it was very spacious and they had plenty of tables, chairs, and high top tables for our guests to use. We decided to rent a dry bar for the cocktail hour as they only have one bar on the first floor reception area. The second floor also contains a beautiful large bridal suite with a private bathroom, and a much smaller groom's room which worked fine for the men. We had our wedding outside at their permanently installed Pergola. Our florist decorated it with flowers, greenery and tulle, and it looked beautiful! It TOTALLY fit my enchanted wedding theme! We had to bring our own table to use for the sand ceremony which was fine as a family member made a table for us as a gift! We narrowly missed a rain storm but the owners Laura and Don Dombach had clear umbrellas on hand to come to our rescue if need be! There are many beautiful photo opportunities on their grounds too! They do have a waterfall but the path to it was muddy so we missed that photo opp. Since the wedding I have talked to the owner and she said they have laid down stones on the path to the waterfall so future bride's can get to it easier! The owners were around all day helping any way they could! They were SO easy and fun to work with! I highly recommend this venue! We were only the 2nd wedding they've EVER had, and I would have thought they were doing this for years!! The price is a little high but comparable and cheaper than other venues in the area I had looked at. They also worked with us on a price as we were on a budget. I could even forgive the out dated style and yellow wall paints if it wasn't for one thing. Omg. Omg. The music, the music. For some reason we could hear loud music in our bedroom/hotel room the whole time but from around 12 am - 8 am. We heard it when we checked in and the next morning, while my husband was still asleep. When I say loud, I mean we could understand every word in every song that played. I am assuming it was the music from the restaurant, but after paying over $270 per night it is something I would not expect to happened.

Every place insisted a caterer, which no one in the bridal party wanted to pay for considering it wasn't a normal shower.. it was co-ed! One random night, about two weeks after I had emailed this random place I found on The Knot.. I finally got a response so straight forward I thought it wasn't real. $500, no down payment.. money in cash or check due the very day of the party, don't have to have a caterer, BYOB, tables, chairs, etc included. I instantly called the guy. Manager of the center was named Jimmy, a 74 year old man.. total riot. I read most of the reviews on every other site and everyone was so up and down about him. Some people said he was rude and inappropriate.. others said he was super helpful and attentive. Well from my experience, from day one it was perfect. Met with him the first night with the bride to be's parents and my boyfriend and he gave us a tour of the place, told us we could have the place for 10 hours and for $500. The place was gorgeous! Plenty of different sized tables, chairs, A/C, covered outdoor deck, high ceilings, gorgeous flowers planted all around the building, beautifully maintained yard by the river with lights dangling all around, two bathrooms, and a fully stocked and loaded kitchen. I was super happy about this place. Jimmy and I talked a couple of times throughout the months of planning. Any time I had any questions he was always super attentive, always giving me a call back as soon as possible if he missed it. Super sweet, any funny guy. About a week before the day of the shower, Jimmy called me telling me he wasn't going to be able to open the building for us because he had relatives going into the Marines that weekend so he would miss the party! He wanted to meet a few days before and personally give me the key to open myself and let me come an hour earlier than we agreed on and showed me where everything was located. Every light switch, every lock on the doors, every table, showed us what was offered in the kitchen, and where to leave the money and key for him to pick up the next day. Everything was super easy to remember. I would like to say, the shower turned out amazing. Every guest raved about how beautiful the place was and how gorgeous the decorations were. It was a great time, nothing went wrong that day. I was super stressed for months and nothing could have went better. Cleanup was easy, closing the building was easy.. I left feeling exhausted but content. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone. It's small so if you decide to have a wedding or party here, it should be for anywhere smaller than 100 people. I had about 48 people for my shower, so it was just right. I'd come back if I had the opportunity to for sure! Thanks again!
