It causes disruptions during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception when people are trying to park where the bridal party is walking for the ceremony, or when people are trying to eat on the patio or play games.

It comfortably fit 17 tables (with room for more), a sweetheart table, a dance floor, and a permanently installed bar. As well as the gift table, cake table, memorial table, DJ booth, and a buffet line for dinner. The room had a beautiful cozy ambiance with lower ceilings and string lights wrapped throughout the room. The second floor and outside on their patio is where we had our cocktail hour, it was very spacious and they had plenty of tables, chairs, and high top tables for our guests to use. We decided to rent a dry bar for the cocktail hour as they only have one bar on the first floor reception area. The second floor also contains a beautiful large bridal suite with a private bathroom, and a much smaller groom's room which worked fine for the men. We had our wedding outside at their permanently installed Pergola. Our florist decorated it with flowers, greenery and tulle, and it looked beautiful! It TOTALLY fit my enchanted wedding theme! We had to bring our own table to use for the sand ceremony which was fine as a family member made a table for us as a gift! We narrowly missed a rain storm but the owners Laura and Don Dombach had clear umbrellas on hand to come to our rescue if need be! There are many beautiful photo opportunities on their grounds too! They do have a waterfall but the path to it was muddy so we missed that photo opp. Since the wedding I have talked to the owner and she said they have laid down stones on the path to the waterfall so future bride's can get to it easier! The owners were around all day helping any way they could! They were SO easy and fun to work with! I highly recommend this venue! We were only the 2nd wedding they've EVER had, and I would have thought they were doing this for years!! The price is a little high but comparable and cheaper than other venues in the area I had looked at. They also worked with us on a price as we were on a budget. The guests weren't informed that handicap parking even existed -- and apparently the only TWO handicap spaces for the entire venue were taken by the parents, leaving an older guest with a cane to climb a set of uneven concrete stairs. Aside from the main room we were in, the rest of the house was poorly lit (I guess they were going for a moody vibe), and while the bathrooms were clean, the bar area was inexplicably small for the size of the event. It felt like the space was built for old timey photos, not functionality. Most memorable (not in a good way) was the venue's primary point of contact for the evening -- the coordinator who was managing the reception timeline and vendor interactions. Her demeanor toward guests vs. vendors was shockingly different, and it was my understanding that most of the vendors were arranged by the bridal party - not the venue - so one would assume she would be more welcoming, or at least collaborative. She made it clear, without saying a word, that she would have rather been anywhere else. Everything seemed done in a huff and a haste. Watching her try to "manage" anything was almost painful - she seemed irritated, unaware, and annoyed in equal measure. Shooting daggers at other people is completely inappropriate, but you couldn't help but notice how off her vibes were. If that was her best foot forward, I truly shudder to imagine what a bad day looks like. This is a reminder to everyone that when you are responsible for any event, all eyes are on you - even when you do not think they are. A wedding venue and its staff should be able to execute hospitality, logistics, and basic human decency simultaneously. Instead, we got a coordinator whose energy was like Jekyll and Hyde - the bride and groom got one personality and everyone else got the other. For a place designed to host life's most joyful milestones, it was baffling how joyless and, quite frankly, apathetic, the venue staff seemed to be. May be time to find another line of work. The photographer was a bit of an odd guy, but not unkind, and the caterer and bartender were both lovely and as helpful as they could be, so not all was lost, but they surely had no affiliation with the venue. They at least know how to remain professional with an audience. This place may photograph well, but kindness, competence, and hospitality cannot be Photoshopped in. I left feeling bad for the couple who trusted this venue with such an important day, and I would strongly urge future couples to look elsewhere. It seems like this place is just trying to make a buck in the easiest way possible. Weddings deserve warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism -- and we unfortunately experienced the exact opposite here.

For some reason we could hear loud music in our bedroom/hotel room the whole time but from around 12 am - 8 am. We heard it when we checked in and the next morning, while my husband was still asleep. When I say loud, I mean we could understand every word in every song that played. The white house can be used as both a rented residence during wedding weekends and is also home to the bridal suite. The central building consists of the kitchen, bathrooms, and groom's suite. The third building consists of a reception hall, with covered balcony and covered courtyard below. It's not a huge venue, but quite cute, and at a recent wedding, perfectly sized for 100 people. The staff there is excellent, with the manager ever present and reliable and ready to get things organized. Catering staff is not on-site as this is just a venue, but they have a list of recommended providers whom they've previously worked with and know the venue. And this list is updated as they go based on vendor performance. They were also great with kids, accommodating as needed, definitely above and beyond. Overall, the wedding we recently attended at this venue was a success, and the venue did a great job of hosting and accommodating.
