The ceilings being painted and all. Make sure you're a morning person though, because with eight (8!) windows it got very bright in there by 6AM. Probably was the only downside because my boyfriend and myself are not particularly morning people. There's a coffee maker and water bottles available in the sitting room, at all hours of the day, which was nice. The morning we had check out they had breakfast served in each of the large dining rooms. Quiche with bacon and potatoes. Orange juice, water, hot tea and fresh coffee. All was wonderful. We will be back.

For some reason we could hear loud music in our bedroom/hotel room the whole time but from around 12 am - 8 am. We heard it when we checked in and the next morning, while my husband was still asleep. When I say loud, I mean we could understand every word in every song that played. The white house can be used as both a rented residence during wedding weekends and is also home to the bridal suite. The central building consists of the kitchen, bathrooms, and groom's suite. The third building consists of a reception hall, with covered balcony and covered courtyard below. It's not a huge venue, but quite cute, and at a recent wedding, perfectly sized for 100 people. The staff there is excellent, with the manager ever present and reliable and ready to get things organized. Catering staff is not on-site as this is just a venue, but they have a list of recommended providers whom they've previously worked with and know the venue. And this list is updated as they go based on vendor performance. They were also great with kids, accommodating as needed, definitely above and beyond. Overall, the wedding we recently attended at this venue was a success, and the venue did a great job of hosting and accommodating.
