Found this property online and booked directly from the website. Vivian greeted us when we arrived. We were told to explore the property and take the keys to the two sitting rooms. We dropped our bags and went exploring. Darling B&B with gorgeous property. Our first night rain hitting the room lulled us to sleep. Next day went downstairs to a homemade quiche. The team shared great recommendations of places to visit in nearby Amish communities. Our second night we brought in a charcuterie tray and wine and really enjoyed a girls night staying in. Next am terrific breakfast again. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you for sharing your home and hospitality.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Beautiful bed and breakfast. Very clean and the staff/owners are amazing. Inside is very quaint and charming with many antiques all around. You have access to the kitchen and a guest refrigerator if needed. We stayed in the Olivia room and slept like babies all weekend. It's so peaceful and quiet. They were nice enough to turn the room into a king for us since we stayed for 2 nights. They provide you with everything you need. Breakfast was amazing both mornings! We had an overnight marinated French toast croissant (yum!!) the one morning and a California egg puff with a chocolate cherry scone the next morning. So delicious! The outside grounds are so beautiful and well kept. It's just a vision and so peaceful and beautiful. Lastly, they have the sweetest (outdoor) cats on property that are just so friendly and we fell in love with them. We are already planning a trip back in December! Can't wait to see you all again soon. Thank you for making us feel so welcome - we had the best weekend! Say hi to Butters for us:)

We had our wedding here on July 8th of this year and it was beautiful. The location of this bed and breakfast is on a huge piece of property that you cannot walk around and explore. They have four bedrooms which makes for an intimate experience. The balcony overlooks the field and the bridge that goes toward the waterfall. The waterfall is where we had our wedding and it was the most beautiful location! The sounds of the waterfall were super relaxing. We had our reception downstairs in one of the rooms which had columns wrapped in bone and lights. Deann was super helpful and so easy to work with. Vivian and Bob were very friendly and wonderful hosts. We also were served an fantastic breakfast which was a great start to a new day. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast. We definitely will be back for years to come!!!

Such a lovely B&B! We pet the horses, enjoyed the little waterfall, and had a nice quiet evening. I would definitely return!

A lot of the original features had to he recreated. The common rooms downstairs are nicely done and are a great place to relax with a glass of wine. There are many windows that let in the light. If you play the piano, you are welcome to do so with the grand piano in the living room. The bedrooms are nice and comfortable, but lack the warm, inviting feeling of some other B&Bs. They could do more to make them less 'sterile.' Breakfast is what I would call "continental plus." There were croissants, breads, cookies, yogurt , granola, etc. They use real silverware rather than the stainless steel restaurant forks and knives. The B&B is right next to a busy street so road noise is always there. That's a general problem in Lancaster County. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but thought it was overpriced for what we got. For over $200, we should have gotten a full breakfast and a very cozy room.

Local yogurt, homemade granola, yummm... it was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying here as we will definitely be back in the future!

It was very cozy with an electric fireplace and its own bathroom. It was very clean and felt like my own home. The best part was breakfast!! I would stay here over & over again. Thank you Brad & Keith for a great weekend!

Breakfast was fantastic. My favorite was the baked Amish oatmeal. Not every room has a private bathroom so read the fine print although it seems each has its own window unit and wifi. We really enjoyed the sunflower room which has a small sitting area and jacuzzi bathtub. The only minor drawback is there's no bathroom door, just a curtain. I didn't see a hair dryer although that's a small potato. This is a BNB, not a hotel so be aware of that. Bring your own soap and shampoo for the shower but there are plenty of towels. We had such a lovely time chatting with Linda and her companions and two other guests. It's old fashioned but if you like old fashioned charm and authentic interactions like we do, you'll love it here. Minor drawbacks: you have to call to make a reservation; you can't lock your room from the outside so leave valuables at home or perhaps locked in your car. Despite these, we had a grand time and the location can't be better for almost anything on your agenda.

They confirmed our reservation, showed us the tea/coffee counter and mini fridge (which we were free to take bottled water from), and asked us if we had any food issues for them to consider for breakfast the next morning. They then walked us up to our room - the Empire Room. The bedroom and its en suite bathroom were immaculately clean. There were a couple small spots with the wallpaper that will hopefully be fixed during the next maintenance pass, but these were very minor. The room sleeps two in a queen bed and has a balcony which was nice to sit on. The room has a modern thermostat and was very cool and comfortable on what might have been one of the most humid and hottest days of the year. Downstairs in the common area, there is ample comfortable seating to lounge around on, as well as an electric keyboard. I will note that upon entering the property, there was the distinct smell of turmeric. In some reviews on other online platforms, this has been mentioned. It didn't bother me, but if you're sensitive to it, you should be aware. The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. However, the inn faces a fairly busy two-lane one-way street and the road noise was noticeable during the day. It's no fault of the property, but it seems there are a lot of locals who drive by with modified exhaust systems and that can spoil the otherwise serene setting. Breakfast was served at 8:30am. There were pitchers of water and orange juice, and carafes of hot coffee and hot water for tea. Breakfast was a glass cup of yogurt with a berry compote, followed by a plate of two strips of thick bacon and two sliced biscuits filled with a sausage gravy. The gravy appeared to have turmeric in it and was quite tasty. My wife requested a non-meat option the night before and got a vegetable omelet and an oatmeal pancake topped with strawberries, which she said was very good. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay here. The house is old (late 1800s), but our room was extremely clean and well-appointed.

Denise and Al were both welcoming, friendly, and warm from start to finish. They were kind enough to allow us to check-in early with our 22 month old toddler, who was recovering from a fever, giving us a place to rest and recover when we had nowhere to go. The house is beautifully decorated with many Christmas decorations and personal touches from Denise and Al to highlight their history. The rooms were comfortable and had a private bathroom in each of them, saving us the trouble of having to navigate a shared bathroom. The breakfasts for our two night stay were different and delicious, with a nice balance between savoriness and sweetness. Parking in the back were spacious for multiple cars, and I think it's a perfect mini-getaway experience for friends and families that might want to rent out all four rooms. Lastly, the price is extremely fair and it was so comforting to hear Denise's rationale of charging how much she would be willing to pay herself if she was looking for a bed and breakfast herself. Overall, this was such a perfect find for us and we would love to come back in the future with our friends and family. Thank you Denise and Al for giving us such a memorable experience and for helping us take care of our 22 month old; perhaps the next time we meet again you'll see how much she has grown!
