My husband and I stayed at the Lancaster Bed & Breakfast on our wedding night on 3/29. It was absolutely amazing! The owners are wonderful. So kind and hospitable. They made us feel so special. We enjoyed the conversation with them, two very special souls. The room was extremely clean, very warm and inviting. Super cozy, and absolutely adorable. The house itself was beautiful. They have a library full of snacks and drinks and a living room full of fresh baked cookies the owner makes herself daily! You can also put any food or drinks of your own in the fridge in the kitchen which was very nice. We met two couples that were staying there that also got married on the 29th of march. One has been married 50 years and the other 68, which felt like a little blessing! We loved chatting with them. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and some of the best food we've ever had. Our first course was fresh blueberries drizzled with local honey and an egg quiche with gruyere, mushrooms and chives. Second course was a croissant french toast stuffed with apple pie filling. It was full of warm sliced apples and sweet filling. Drizzled with more filling and topped with fresh sweet cream. To go with that we had bacon that the owner smokes himself. It had 50% less salt than regular bacon, we have never had anything like that. It was so fresh and delicious. The owners also topped off our coffee frequently and juice as well. We certainly felt special during our stay. We are so thankful to have celebrated our love here! I'm attaching pictures! We stayed in the Hawthorne room! We will definitely be back!

Keith and Brad are amazing hosts. They made all the guests feel welcome. Breakfasts felt like meeting with friends rather than just them making food and keeping to themselves. Brad had so many awesome stories to tell. The food is delicious and they try to get as much local as they can. Our room was cute and very comfortable. Location is great, right outside the city but ready access to any of the Lancaster county sites farther from the city. I would happily stay here again.

What a great spot to stay! A bit off the beaten path, but still close to everything. It was our 5th anniversary, and our first trip to Lancaster. My wife had never stayed in a B&B, and this gem was an amazing experience. The room was comfortable and spacious. Everything was spotless. The skylights in the Fennel room are a nice feature too. The grounds are very peaceful despite being fairly near the road, and the spot near the koi pond is a great little oasis to relax. Our hosts, Jason and Kim, were very welcoming and gracious, even when we showed up for breakfast a little early. :) And the breakfast could not be beat! I cannot recommend the Lancaster B&B highly enough. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor... skip the chain motel/hotels and stay at The Lancaster, you will not regret it!

This was my first experience at a B&B, and it was absolutely incredible. The owners, Brad and Keith, were so personable and friendly. You can tell they're very proud of everything they do to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. They offered MANY recommended dining experiences, which were broken down by type of cuisine, price range, and type of business. During our stay, we explored downtown Lancaster as well as the outskirts. The B&B offered everything you could think of-- kitchen (if you wanted to put anything in the fridge), water/soda, packaged snacks, sweet treat cookies, and a wall of brochures of anything and everything you could do in the area. They've done a beautiful job keeping up with the building and have styled it perfectly. On top of all these amazing things, the breakfast was out of this world delicious. It was such a pleasant and welcoming stay. We will definitely be back!!

Our stay at The Lancaster Bread and Breakfast Inn was phenomenal! The Innkeepers Keith and Brad pay attention to detail and are extremely accommodating to all guests and engage in heartfelt conversations. Checkin was seamless and ample parking was available. We opted for the Hawthorn Suite on the second floor as it was the most spacious accommodation...husband is 6'4". Suite included bathroom, separate sitting area, walk in closet, and bathroom. The breakfast each day mirrored a three course meal and was outstanding. Lastly, The Inn is close to Lancaster attractions. If you are thinking about visiting Lancaster, we highly recommend this Inn as a place to stay.

We had a fabulous stay at the Lancaster B&B. Brad and Keith were so knowledgeable about the area and very hospitable. The inn was beautiful, warm, and so inviting. Breakfast we delicious as well! We can't wait to go back

Each room is decorated with a variety of Victorian furniture and named after something musical. This is the place where we discovered their very yummy hot apple cider! Breakfast was filling and yummy. I believe we had French Toast with a size of fresh fruits and tea/coffee. We usually come up to Lancaster to go to our favorite restaurant there, Dienner's Country Restaurant. While we were here, we also got a chance to visit Jennie's Diner, conveniently located right across the street. There are no TVs in the rooms, but we enjoyed that idea it gave us a more intimate setting. We ended up playing cards and with the chess set available in the nicely decorated living room (we were there during Christmas time). They were kind enough to take some pictures for us near the fireplace and Christmas tree. This time, like others, we went In December, and was able to enjoy our short time here. We were greeted warmly by Tim and Heidi again. I even got to enjoy some hot apple cider at breakfast! We enjoyed our time here and hope to visit again soon! :)

The place is very neat and clean and very nicely decorated. I would call it quaint. No TVs in the rooms which was just fine as we treated ourselves to a relaxing night in candlelight and the warm glow of the fireplace. We topped it off with a very nice bubble bath in our in-room jacuzzi. The location is in the Amish countryside, but only a mile away from the outlets and lots of restaurants (we highly recommend Checkers Bistro in Lancaster...top notch!) All in all it was a great first experience and it definitely won't be our last. We could not recommend Candlelight Inn B&B more,

We aren't really bath people so we were taken aback by that. However it's ok, we only spent two nights and we had a chill weekend so it was ok to relax in a bath one evening. Next, the toilet is really sluggish and clogs easily. Don't get me wrong, the grounds are nice as well, but we were usually stuck by the pool I have been trying to drag all my friends with kids to Sue's place since my friend and I discovered back in Oct (?). It is just a wonderful place to come to. The B&B is a house with 4 rooms (5th as an add-on to another one only) and a enclosed pool area that has picnic seating and lounge chairs, hot tub and entry lounge area with a dining table that we used to eat dinners and lunches by the pool. The rooms were pretty quiet - the downstairs one is ADA compliant and ok for pets, but we loved this room most because it was open to the pool area. Just keep in mind that this room tends to run colder than the other 3 rooms in the house for those of you who are sensitive to the cold. Above the pool-side room is what I like to call "honeymoon suite" it has a nice bed area with deck overlooking the pool and upstairs bathroom (i didnt get to try all those fancy buttons on the whirlpool tub, but I did end up having a tri-head shower along the way) The other 2 rooms are smaller, but one has an en-suite and the other has the hall bath with the option to book the room next to it for bigger parties. Do you know what else is nice? Sue leaves the Netflix and Amazon logged in on the TVs - I did not have to go through the annoying task of loading all of my accounts on and trying to remember to log-off when I was leaving. It is a really nice touch. Let's move on to my favorite part - THE FOOD. Holy smokes Sue can cook. Sure, I love her fancier meals, but the more homestyle, comfy ones area just... wow. I feel about 3x bigger just saying this. She will keep feeding you if you are still hungry (Don't judge.. I did get seconds almost EVERY time). She has a little refrigerator and though to stock it with drinks (who ever remembers to bring bottle water anyway?) and freezer with ice cream (the kids went nuts). Sue also leaves out the Keurig and a baked good on the table so you can help yourself to your ever expanding waistline as you relax in this quiet little retreat. I've been to some of the most incredible B&Bs (stuffy and not quite-so), but as nice as those were, I felt like I could put my hair down, relax with the kids, and just ENJOY my time with them as the pandemic raged on outside what felt like "home" to me. GO...and keep going (but not when I go - jk). Eat, swim, stroll the grounds, sleep...and just RELAX and let Sue handle everything - she's made for this

John and Heidi, the owners, made us feel like we were visiting friends, but were very professional and competent at the same time. Not an easy trick to pull off.
