Food: The options are never-ending. They have several different plans and more options than I would ever have imaged. The prices were very fair in my opinion. The quality was good. The appetizers (pretzels bites, meatballs and veggie tray) were nice but the dinner was very good (sirloin tip, Parmesan chicken, green beans, scalloped potatoes and salad). The food service was prompt and attentive - much appreciated. External dessert is allowed and that's what we did. Also appreciated. Drinks: They have a more strict drink policy than other places, but this did not effect our party or guests in the slightest. We did the open bar option, but they only allow beer and wine (no hard spirits). The bottles must be opened and administered from their supplied bartender with an additional fee. This means no big punch bowl or sangria. The bartenders were both very kind, and, as I said, this did not effect our party! Decor/Venue: Beautiful! I walked in and was wowed. Rustic barns are trendy, but they execute better than any other venue of it's type that I've attended. The rustic, farm-style was felt, but not oppressive. They had lots of flowers, Christmas decorations, and lights, hitting festive, elegant and rustic vibes. We were able to bring our own games and arrange the space to have an open area for cocktail hour/mingling. Our event had about 75 people, and it was plenty big. Cleanup and teardown: The sour note in my opinion. They were clear that the party is until 7, and everyone needed to be out by 7:30. However, I cannot stand when people start cleaning up and clearing down, while guest our still there. They started clean up before 7, while the party was technically going on. There was rushing and a lack of care for us at the end that I didn't like. Overall, our guests were very pleased, and the event was wonderful. As someone who organized it, I saw a little bit of a different side, but still greatly enjoyed it and would recommend this venue!

Staff came in and moved our belongings and walked in on us getting dressed. They even told two of our party that they basically could not get dressed with the rest of the wedding party. My daughter had to tell Wendy a few times that she did not want anyone helping her get dressed except for her mother. She also had to tell Wendy a couple times that she did not want her photographing or videoing the moment she shared with her father. They seemed to want us to bring things we didn't need - wondering if it was so they could keep them - since that was mentioned many times that people 'leave things behind for them.' Not sure so much that, or people forget and they inherit. They kept insisting on cranberry juice that we did not need. Again, the place is beautiful, but the staff are too overbearing. They say they want you to relax and enjoy your day, but you really can't when they won't leave you alone. The entire group of bridesmaids were irritated most of the day by some of the things that happened. If they would just say that if you need them, they will assist, that would be great. But not be on you every second all day. It was too much. I also agree that they started removing things a bit early at the end. But now we can relax, it's done and over and at least the weather was great and our guests said our decorating, etc. was done very nicely.

Our first venue that we had our heart set on was not working with us to hold our wedding in 2020. Our florist referred us quickly to these ladies three months before our scheduled wedding. They were super responsive immediately and got us in for a tour and to our luck had our date still open! The place is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. The convenience of tables, chairs, linens and chinaware included in the price was a huge plus. The newly renovated Grooms and Brides rooms are super pretty. Tracy was always so quick to answer all of my many questions through text and telephone conversations along the way. Deb was there the night before at rehearsal helping set up and putting little touches to our décor we brought along, that she had. The day of the event the ladies were always checking in with us to make sure everything was running smoothly and if we needed anything. I am so happy we went with Whispering Pines of Carlisle and would have definitely started with them from the beginning had I did a bit more research on locations in this area.
