She even hooked me up with a complimentary jelly shot for my birthday. There was also a very nice male bartender there but I did not get his name. They had added a lot more seating like Adirondack chairs, couches and fire pits outside. They had a food truck there also which was a nice addition so when our other friend arrived the 3 of us nibbled on chicken potstickers, fries, a hotdog with chili and jalapeño poppers. Despite it being a hot day, they had a huge fan at the bar that makes it more comfortable, a mister in the bar area and you get a great natural breeze off the river anywhere else you're sitting besides the bar so this helped immensely. The mix of shaved brussels sprouts, kale, and romaine gave it great texture, the dressing was well-balanced, and the red onion didn't overpower the rest of the flavors. But my favorite part? The garlic parmesan crouton crumble. No chasing rogue croutons around the plate--just perfectly distributed crunch in every bite. Genius!
