During the COVID-19 today, they don't sanitize the room. Because I got flea bites on my right hand and body.

Terrible Billing Practices & Unprofessional Behavior -- BEWARE!…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience with Women's Imaging Center and Dr. Morris-Chong's office. We were charged $250 up front for a screening that our insurance, Blue Shield, confirmed was covered 100%. Blue Shield was shocked that this facility charged us the way they did. While billing mistakes can happen, the real problem was how the office handled (or rather, mishandled) the situation. Even after we sent them the official Explanation of Benefits clearly showing full coverage with no copay, they continued to deny the facts, gaslight us, and insist that our insurance required payment. We had to get Blue Shield directly involved, and they confirmed not only that the visit should have cost $0, but that they had already paid the center -- meaning the office attempted to double-dip from both us and the insurance. To make matters worse, trying to get a refund was a nightmare. Front desk staff like Barbara C. dodged calls and gave the runaround, claiming she didn't handle billing and would "talk to the doctor " and that "the person that does billing hasn't been in the office at all". Really? How is that possible? After a few calls someone did eventually email us but that person did not seem knowledgeable with billing practices. After weeks of back-and-forth emails (where we were nothing but professional and polite), they agreed to refund only $160 (they confirmed they were mailing it out July 7th) -- not the full $250. Weeks passed with no check, and when it finally arrived at the end of July, it was for only $90. After that? Total silence. They completely ghosted us. Blue Shield has contacted me to encourage me to file a grievance against this practice as they feel cheated as well since they already paid them long ago and are shocked by the mishandling of their billing with our case. We have full documentation -- emails, call logs, and letters from Blue Shield confirming our position -- and are happy to share them with anyone considering this practice. This isn't about the money; it's about the principle. No patient should be treated like this, especially when already dealing with the stress of a suspicious medical finding. Absolutely unacceptable and unethical behavior from a healthcare provider. Avoid this place at all costs.

She had the best bedside manner and explained everything to us to the point where we hardly had any questions. Whatever questions we did have were answered thoroughly. After the appointment, our nerves were calmed as we knew what to expect and were no longer in the dark about what the next steps were. I worked in the medical field for 12 years. I have never encountered a doctor like Dr. Morris. She is what every doctor should strive to be. Absolutely the best experience! I can't forget her office manager, Barbara! She is absolutely amazing--very professional and caring. Made the whole process simple and streamlined.

There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between patients. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big, but the lot does get full very quickly since they share the lot with a lot of medical offices. Some parking spots are smaller than others, so watch out! Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, tidy, and organized. Staff: The staff here are very friendly, welcoming, informative, and funny. Seriously, from the receptionists to the MRI techs, everyone was phenomenal. I like how the MRI techs walk you through what you'll experience before the exam starts. They also have a changing room / locker room for you to change and leave your stuff in. They have a nice mini waiting room inside with a bathroom and water dispenser once you exit the main waiting room. They accept both cash and credit cards. I do not recommend this place. Advocate for your parents. Be very selective, there are choices out there, be diligent and do your homework. Don't settle for this kind of service. Our parents deserve better. Being disrespected and spoken poorly by this front desk staff is never an option. I DO NOT recommend!

They requested an ultrasound in addition to my mammogram. They made it sooo difficult for me to even book an ultrasound with them as I needed an approval from my OB (who is M.I.A). It's like: Why?! They're the ones asking me for an ultrasound and they have the ability to take said ultrasound- why do I need to get approval (aka another written referral) from my OB?! Insane! I'm not sure that Huntington even reads the patient's medical history as I had stated that I'd had a breast reduction (which creates scar tissue). I decided to come here for a second opinion. They were able to get my records from The Eleonor Breast Center. It was so much easier and smoother to book an appointment here. The radiologist that sent me the report here at Sono Center obviously took my medical history into consideration. They suggested a follow up ultrasound in a few months, which I appreciate. Their prices definitely went up but you get what you pay for in convenience, friendliness and just the fact that it's really hassle-free. They have a large validated parking lot and they're located on the first floor of the building. The place is very clean and cozy. I got my results the next day - which I appreciate very much as I was really stressed out over my results!

I took my 97-year-old mother to this facility for a CT Scan…read more The Good Because of her low eGFR in the most recent lab work, I called the day before to verify whether a CT Scan with contrast as ordered by her doctor would be safe. Jake answered the phone and empathized with my concern. He traded phone call with me and the doctor three times and made all appropriate arrangements for us, and documented the instructions for his associates to follow the following day. Jake was upbeat, courteous and thorough in his interactions with me. With his efforts, I was impressed and relieved. The Bad We arrived at the lab 5 minutes prior to the appointed time, half an hour before the actual appointment, and was advised by a young woman wearing glasses and a ponytail working at the front desk to sit tight and wait until she can check with the radiologist whether my mother's CT Scan can proceed. I was a bit baffled and inquired, did she get the instructions from Jake for a with no-contrast CT Scan? Indeed she did, nevertheless, she wanted to check with the doctor, so we should wait. That was not even 9am. By 9:15, I asked her if the doctor had arrived. She quipped, your appointment is not until 9:20. 9:20 came and went. Nothing happened. I exercised my patience, went up to her at 9:35, after another 15 minutes of aimless wait. Her response was brief, we had already sent your mom's file for the doctor's review. So, the doctor had arrived? Yes. Another 15 minutes went by. I walked up to her again at 9:50, one hour after our arrival , half an hour after the scheduled appointment time. I pleaded, is there any way you may ask the doctor to expedite her review for my mom? You know she's 97, she's getting tired. She looked at me, and said, no. We have already given her file to the doctor. So, I said, we should just sit around and wait "indefinitely"? She looked straight into my eyes, and said, "YES!" That really blew my mind. I responded to her sarcastically, "Thank you for being so compassionate!" And I added, "Just imagine your own grandmother going through the same ordeal!" I didn't bother to get her name. What would be the point? Someone like that clearly is in the wrong profession. To be Fair: The technician that assisted my mother for the CT Scan 10 minutes after my shocking exchanges with that young woman was jolly and friendly. (That means if she would only take the time to check for me, she would have brought pleasant news to us: her test is coming up, just be patient and it won't be long!) The other young lady at the front desk was courteous and respectful as well. But one bad apple really could taint the whole otherwise mostly positive experience.
