I would not recommend. Their menu doesn't reflect current prices they have. I tried to get a sandwich and drink combo (the price was listded on the physical menu, the menu on the screen, and on their website) and they told me that was wrong and would not honor that price. The combo was supposed to make an iced coffee be $3.50, instead of $7. Which is a pretty big price jump! I opted out of the coffee when i was told this. I got the sandwich and it was underwhelming. They give you a decent size but the chicken I had was not good. They also messed up my friends orders. They forgot to heat up the sandwhich as she asked for it and they forgot to give my friend her drink. They did fix these errors but very annoying to deal with. Now onto the inside. The chairs in the private room were so gross. They need to be cleaned so badly. There is limited space to work in there too. The WiFi is slow and barely works. Employees were nice.! read more

Quick and friendly service, I stopped by on my walk home and got a green glow up. It tasted as it should, healthy & not sweet. It was actually pretty filling and gave a good boost of energy. A nice coffee spot in Old Town located on the corner Wells and Division. The place itself isn't that big, they have several tables and a private room, which is interesting. They do have restrooms as well which is nice. The counter where you order does get a little crowded because, but the staff move quickly to complete orders. I ordered The Oli and Donut. It was exactly 13 minutes, as I received my receipt via text at 12:37 and immediately texted my coworker that I was returning when I received my order at 12:50. I was in the mood for a healthy brunch and stumbled upon Cal's corner. I was slightly put off by the smell when I walked in since it smelled like burnt paninis. Regardless, I decided to give it a try. I went with just a green smoothie which blew my mind as it was $12! It was practically the same price as the smoothie bowl which actually comes with toppings. I was baffled at how expensive it was. Although it did taste good and made me feel better after a long night out, I probably wouldn't buy it again because of the price. My friend had the salmon toast and matcha which they enjoyed. As I walked out, an employee gave me a farewell which I appreciated. Pretty solid spot to get breakfast, especially fruit-based things like smoothies or smoothie bowls. I was interested in getting an açaí bowl, and so I found this place and tried it. I requested it with no coconut flakes and added chia seeds instead for $1. It was a pretty solid acai bowl. A tad on the expensive side for breakfast, but I think the ingredients they use are probably quite fresh and good quality, so it's fairly reasonable. The portion itself is pretty generous actually. If you're not that hungry, you could probably split with someone. The toppings were all nice and the açaí definitely came through with the flavor. Quite a good amount of granola there, which added a nice crunch. Quite a bit of banana too. I can say this is a pretty nice spot for açaí in Chicago. read more

Weak flavorless drip coffee, waited 15 minutes for a bagel, 15 min!!! It wasn't even busy. By the time i got my bagel that was supposed to be toasted it was almost ice cold, which tells me it's been sitting in the back for 10+ minutes. Even when the shop is extremely busy, it doesn't go unnoticed that you check in and have a great attitude. To be expected with any menu with variety, some food items are better than others, but what I really have to shoutout is the açaí bowls. These are some of the best I've had in Chicago, and the perfect texture. Exactly what we needed on this street! The protein shakes are also 10/10 with vegan options. I loved the set up of the couches, lounge chairs, and small tables for two. There seemed to also have a separate small space like a study area which is awesome. They have a variety of options for coffees, juices, and smoothies. I also feel like they have a great menu of smoothie bowls, toasts, and sandwiches. My boyfriend and I ordered a variety of drinks for our friends and got a lavender latte, caramel latte, flat white, and Christmas tree matcha. My boyfriend and I got food too. It did take a while for us to get our entire order because it was super busy with others waiting as well.
