We've been a CALPEST customer for several years. We're very pleased with Jose's prompt attention to our needs. In addition to an annual spray for springtime bugs and spiders, we recently had a rat problem. Jose discussed how the bait stations worked and why they would not pose a risk for our dogs. I had 3 different companies come out to my home to inspect and give me a quote. All of them were very well reviewed on yelp so I expected similar service from them. Xtreme Pest Control proved me wrong. They scheduled a time with me 10-11am and we blocked our work schedule off. The inspector called me after 11am to say he was on his way. No apologies for being late just that he was coming now and would be here in 30 min. I informed him I was in a meeting and unlocked the back door. I finally finished my meeting and came out to see that not only was this man not wearing booties while walking around the inside of my home, but he was not wearing a mask. During COVID times, I would have expected this company to have higher standards for safety protocols especially when entering another person's personal space. I was informed that protocol did dictate they should wear masks but the individual forgot. Then they said that booties were only worn by request. I had 2 other companies come through for termite inspection and evey one showed up on time or early, wore masks, maintained social distancing, and wore booties inside the home without my needing to ask. Your disregard for my safety has been duly noted. Thanks but no thanks. I'll give two stars since someone did actually come out and provided me with a quote despite the quote not being emailed to me till a full week later. read more

They came to the house twice and scheduled us for fumigation, after all the packing, paying for hotel and everything we had done, they day of the crew that came to do job said no sorry we can't do it today!!!!! Why????? Because some walls need to be cut,,, well why didn't you tell us before? Sorry .... After many calls they said they can do it in 3weeks!!!!!! And $1800 more. Very very bad experience! .... We had a persistent problem with ants in our house in numerous locations. The ant bait and outdoor insecticide barrier spray that we usually apply ourselves to control ants wasn't working and we just couldn't get rid of them after trying for 6 weeks. Highly recommend the team at Xtreme Pest Control. We had a spider problem when we moved into our new house. It had sat vacant for a little while and we assumed that once we moved in, they've move out. WRONG. It took us almost a year to pull the trigger because we thought a recurring service would be too expensive. WRONG again. The service we receive is billed every other month and is very affordable. I haven't seen any spiders inside since they've been to our house and so many fewer bugs in general, even outside. None of the spider webs that we had throughout our yard and garden have returned - they cleaned them out when they sprayed! Called Calpest for an ant problem, and they came out the next day. We had used them years before for ant problem and termite inspection. They cured our ant problem then and said we only had minor termite issue, which they also fixed. They could have tried to up sale us or told us we had a bigger problem than it was, and we'd had never known the difference. Contacted Xtreme Pest Control to help us get rid of some pesky termites that got into out balcony, front porch and stairs on our 42 Y/O house. The affected areas are getting ready to be replaced.
