This family run bakery specializes in South America pastries and custom cakes. Their macarons are either made like a classic French style flavored pastry or decorated like a very cute unicorn or flower. so many flavors to choose from like Dulce de Leche, Mango, Strawberry, Nutella, Passion Fruit, Chocolate, Cafe con Leche, Raspberry, and Pistachio. Got a slice of their rainbow cheesecake for a friend's birthday. We shared it at a fun Happy Hour. The Alfajors are such a traditional South America cookie. A shortbread sandwich cookie filled with gooey, homemade dulce de leche. So delicious. Their meringues are also filled with dulce de leche. Might have to go back to try their key lime tres leches or their tiramisu. A great local bakery. Note: They are also on TGTG. You might get lucky and score a fun treat bag.

Overwhelmed with so many options, I decided to go with the Nutella tres leches and I have seriously never had a better tres leches EVER! I hate that this place is so far away from me but maybe it's a good thing. If I'm ever back in the area I will absolutely be stopping by!

My favorite BBQ in Houston! This is my top barbecue spot of all time…read more This was the first barbecue place I tried in Houston and it set the standard for any place I tried after. I've tried several and all barbecue spots are great but none are as good as Tejas. Tejas opened in 2015 and has received several awards since and in 2025 became recognized by MICHELIN. This did not surprise me and it made sense why none could ever top them. They have wonderful customer service, the feel is very cabin like, family style food, and clean inside and outside. I have stopped by several times over the years and haven't given them a proper review and it was about time. Their brisket is exceptional. What I immediately appreciated about Tejas is how they are unique with their sides. Sides are important. Most barbecue spots across the board have the same sides but each make them a bit different. Tejas offers a unique side, that no one has or any restaurant in general, their Carrot soufflé, it is addicting. I usually order another to go. Their chille relleno sausage is phenomenal. Must try My go to order 10/10 : Brisket sandwich (no sauce needed) Chile relleno sausage tacos Carrot soufflé side Chips & queso

Went back about two weeks ago on a whim and I've already been back twice since. The BBQ is legitimately exceptional now. The burnt ends are amazing--tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. The cheesesteak is awesome, the turkey is surprisingly moist and tasty, and the overall quality is way higher than I remembered. A couple small notes: the poblano sausage was a bit too cheesy for my taste, and the mac and cheese has crushed tortilla chips on top that feel unnecessary (though the base is still solid). Must-orders: Get the chicharrones and queso and ask for a side of Tajín to sprinkle on top--it takes it to another level. The jalapeños at the condiment station are pure fire and delicious. They also have a full bar, so chilling with a cold beer and some top-notch BBQ is the move. The chocolate truffles at the counter are fantastic--you really can't go wrong with any of them. They also have specials if you order four or more items, which is a nice touch. Plenty of seating inside or outside, and there's ample parking right across the street. If you haven't been in a while (or ever), do yourself a favor and give them another shot. I'm glad I did. Solid 4 stars.

It's a cutsey shop with an IG photo wall op, nicely decorated. A cafe with good amount of items both hot and cold. Service- was 5 stars. The owners are a husband/wife duo, awe. One of the owner, Wei (sp) rang me up, and helped me with any questions I had while ordering at the counter. She never rushed me or appeared annoyed as I asked multi questions. She gave service with a smile, which I love. Another staff member checked on us frequently throughout our stay, which I appreciated. Drink- I was torn between many options. There speciality menu had alot of cool things. I prefer hot drinks over cold. I asked Wei for a determination between Rose Latte and the Lavender Latte, she said if I wanted more floral to go with Rose. I haven't seen Rose Latte on a menu before, so I decided to go with that. She said the drink comes with 2 to 3 pumps of syrup. I wanted light sugar content, so I went with 1 pump. And perhaps that was the downfall of my own making. I didn't taste any Rose, but it was fine regular Latte. Food - I ordered the turkey, pesto & cheese croissant. And it was yummy. Would recommend. I would give this place another go if in the area. I liked the owners hospitality.
