The cupcakes are great! I've tried three dif flavors and each is better than the one before.

I have been looking at this location for several years and never tried it. My grand daughter saw the alien display in the window and said let's try it. It is a walk in place that is take it and go. There are no tables to sit and have coffee and a cupcake. The display is tastefully done, and they have a wide assortment of flavors. Here are some of the choices: 1. Oreo 2. Snickers 3. Creme Brûlée 4. Vanilla 5. Carrot Cake 6. Red Velvet 7. Coconut 8. Turtle I was impressed by the owner's hospitality and the cleanliness of his establishment. Well let's talk about taste. I've passed by Sugarfoot's many times on the way to IAH. While out near the Willowbrook area, we were able to finally stop by on our way home. I was only planning on one cupcake, but since I was with my sister, we ended up getting 4 for $15. They had quite a bit of flavors to choose from. I went for churro and strawberry shortcake while my sister went for tres leches and strawberry. They also had interesting decor inside like an inflatable alien haha and other goods like dehydrated candy ("space candy") and Indian savory snacks like Kurkure! My sister thought the cupcakes had a great, moist texture, but were lacking in flavor profile (she had tres leches and strawberry), further commenting that they would be perfect for a child but leave an adult yearning for more - lol! I felt around the same. The frosting amount was great but the cake was on the "boring" side for me. The guy working behind the counter was super nice and friendly. I'm a baker , and I know boxed cupcakes when i taste them . I stopped by in the morning , didn't smell anything freshly baked , although she said she was making them . Bought 6 $22. W get home just to be highly disappointed . Everything taste like Betty Crocker boxed cakes and premade icing . Literally taste like a elementary school bake sale cupcake . Reese - chocolatey cupcake very moist peanut butter frosting rich but not too rich great pairing Snickerdoodle - hmmm didn't taste too much like snickerdoodle but still tastes really good. The icing sets it off. Snickers - same chocolatey cupcake very moist peanut butter frosting very rich and caramel inside, nice touch. The best of the four was Reese's perfectly moist and flavorful. Stopped in for an afternoon treat. Delightfully surprised at the excellent service and the quality of the cupcakes. She explained the various cupcakes flavors and their other products. This business cried to yelp about how I posted screenshots of them telling us to take our business to Kroger and walmart for complaining about their miniature cupcakes that they sell for $3.00 a pop. This business has 5 star reviews only because they give out free cupcakes in exchange for them, which is illegal but do you see yelp taking them off the site? Awful cupcakes, awful service. Do not buy anything from this place, and if you do I suggest you do it through debit or credit card, as you can at least contact your bank to reverse charges when services aren't rendered through them: because they will ignore you or leave a smartaleck remarks with laughing face emojis. Ya'll...tapping my foot impatiently. Per usual my insatiable sweet tooth brought me here. I wanted to buy and eat every cupcake,, but I controlled myself. I was greeted by a lovely pleasant gal. I purchased two cupcakes snickerdoodle and hummingbird. I ate the hummingbird on the drive back and it was yummy, the snickerdoodle I'll eat tomorrow. I paid $7 something for 2 cupcakes. Um, wow... this place is excellent! We were visiting friends up North and wanted to find a bakery to get cupcakes. Thankful this place was open and had cupcakes available to pick up. The man who took our order was kind and helped us narrow down what cupcakes to get. The cupcake was moist and true to its flavor. Frosting was also sweet but not overtly sweet compared to other cupcake places. Truly great tasting cupcakes! We really enjoyed it and so did our friends. I give them a 4 mostly based on taste. Cupcakes were best I have had. Tasted like cornbread and cupcake batter mixed together. Dense but moist yellow cake. Buttercream frosting was also delicious. Where they lost points was decoration. Frosting did not even cover whole cupcake and was not tall enough. Yellow frosting was suppose to look like Princess Belles dress. However it was not tall enough. Also price was high. $80 for 2 dozen. Heb sells 2 dozen for around $14. They were out of vanilla cupcakes though. The other part they lost points was customer service. They take orders online and so hard to discuss exactly what you want. Person that answered the phone seemed annoyed and told me Just to go online to order. Want a beautiful custom cake made!? Then DO NOT go to Sugarfoot's Cupcakes! We try to support local small businesses like this whenever possible. But this was a horrible experience. The owner looked at my cake pics and told me she could create my cake no problem. We could not have been any more disappointed. They didn't do what she said they would do and charged me EXTRA for it. The design was ugly and exactly what I asked her specifically NOT to do. The cake itself was even wrong and so DRY that no one would eat it and we ended up throwing 90% of it away. When I arrived on Saturday, the shop didn't seem too busy, and it was easy to spot on the side of the street due to the large cupcake sign they had. I went in after looking at the menu online and was really excited to try the tiramisu cupcake as it sounded to die for, but when I looked for it on the shelf, I didn't see it. The person behind the counter was extremely nice but stated they wouldn't be able to give me any tiramisu cupcakes if I didn't order at least a dozen when I only needed 3 plus 1 vanilla cupcake I was a bit disappointed but moved on to the tres leches cupcakes instead. I had my baby with me, so the worker helped me take the cupcakes to my car, which was so thoughtful, and I was really appreciative of it. In regard to the cupcakes, I was a bit surprised at the cost. 4 were $15, which I found to be steep as they were regular sized cupcakes, and they didn't seem to have a lot of icing. The vanilla cupcake was okay in regards to flavor, but the icing had a strange after taste that I couldn't put my finger on. The tres leches cupcake was good. It was moist in the middle from the milk and seemed to have a great balance of sweetness. Took a chance on someplace new and stumbled upon Sugarfoots. Needed to find a cupcake place that would deliver in The Woodlands, TX to surprise my fiance with some sweets on his birthday. Had no idea if the cupcakes would taste good, huge risk, but it ended up turning out to be pretty delicious! I ordered one dozen: chocolate on chocolate, red velvet, reeses, churros, and tres leches, and oreo!! I had it delivered to where my fiance would be on site that day, and he shared it with his clients, and they were an absolute hit. Cake/Bread is moist and not too sweet. Toppings were just right, and not sure about all the other cupcakes, but I tasted the churro, and it had a churro cream filling in the middle. It was perfect! On June 21, I went in and placed an order for a birthday cake for the 22nd a 6' for $40.00 as this was 1 of the few bakeries that made this flavor. I purchased a set of 6 cupcakes for $20.00, they told me if I wanted 12 it would be $35.00 [wrong pricing on their website, but ok] couldn't get a hold of them through their phone number, and they lapped in their responses through Google business texting. (And this was BEFORE the storm that knocked out everyone's power at 10pm, mind you) OK, so everything is scheduled to be picked up at 4pm for the 22. They have my phone number and email for the order. They never called me back on the number I listed to report that they had no power to make the cake, nor do they leave a voice message. They sent an email that Microsoft flagged as junk mail because of all the Facebook links that they attached to it at 10:30am (that I was unable to view because I had no power to read emails nor do I have a smartphone to check said emails). Refund was requested, still waiting to get my money back. Not a very bright company, didn't offer anything up to remedy the ruined birthday situation other than 'oops sorry for mother nature'. That being said... I was able to purchase cupcakes here on the 21st. Would NOT recommend going here at all, sub par cupcakes that you can make at home yourself. Gourmet prices for something you and your kids can make at home. Above pictured is 3 hummingbird flavor cupcakes that just tasted like a banana nut bread muffin with icing on top (hummingbird is supposed to come with pineapple and toasted coconut that was nowhere to be found) Strawberry shortcake was a plain vanilla cornbread cupcake with a tiny liquified jam preservatives injection in the center (basically what you see on top) the oreos were stale from sitting out. The only decent one aside from the hummingbird was the lower right which once again had a tiny caramel injection in the middle basic fudge bread with what tasted like coffee infused frosting that they labeled as "turtle". It was dead when I went in with only 1 guy waiting on customers, a single woman who purchased an $8.00 bag of homemade candy with a disgusted look on her face, then told him "I don't want a receipt as I will never be coming back here." Like I posted earlier, Saturday I had a Very Busy Day ... after the Tomball Farmers Market experience that I Loved, I headed over to Sugarfoot's Cupcakes on Kuykendahl in Spring. I arrived shortly after they opened on Saturday and they had Customers in there trying to decide what to get ... decisions, decisions, decisions ... it's hard when they have so many Deliciousness' on display. Well, they decided and they looked very happy with their choices. While this was going on I met Josh Riley for the first time. Very Nice Guy and his Wife, Lexi, was in the back baking more goodies for your enjoyment. I was looking over what to get for my Wife and I and another Customer came in to pick-up a Custom Cake Order she asked for her little boy. He was also along and when shown his Cake the little guy just Glowed with Joy. He was Thrilled at the outcome (see picture, this Cake is Awesomeness). Anyway, after careful consideration the Cupcakes I decided on are the Chocolate Raspberry, Coconut, Tiramisu & Tres Leches ... and after more careful consideration I wound up getting twelve more for our Covenant Group that is getting together later Saturday night. These will make an Excellent Dessert for all of us. Sugarfoot's Cupcakes makes a lot more than just Cupcakes. They make Cookies, Custom Cakes, Pies, Muffins, Scones, Special Diet stuff, Cheesecakes, Cinnamon Rolls, Snowcones & Coffee including Expresso ... You Get It All at Sugarfoots. This place is Awesome and I want Everything they have, but today I will enjoy some of the 16 Cupcakes I'm taking home. And we did just that. We took Twelve of those Deliciousness to have after Dinner with our Covenant Group. My Lovely Wife passed them out to everyone to choose what they wanted ... without actually knowing exactly what the flavors were (but you could kind of go on how they are decorated). Well, everyone Loved'em and I know they are going to get more of those Deliciousness' at Sugarfoots. Mine, last night, was Tres Leches and it was just like eating the Cake of the same name ... this was Lechesliciousness. My Wife had the Churro and she Loved It. Sugarfoots makes'em Liciously and ya gonna luv'em all. Check'em out on-line ... and on Facebook; Sugarfoot's Cupcakes ... This Morning with our Coffee, my Lovely Wife and I had more Cupcakes. I enjoyed the Chocolate Raspberry and my Wife ate the Coconut ... and she shared, I didn't (not that I'm mean, it's because it was Chocolate Raspberry and NO ONE gets my Chocolate Raspberry no matter what form it's in. And by the way, these Cupcakes pair very well with Coffee. Sugarfoot's Cupcakes is now on my List of the Best Around ... Next time I see you, you will get the Dollar-Bow-Tie Award. Update on my a review from Oct 2020. Loved the cake we ordered for my best friends baby shower, so her husband ordered a cake there for her 40th. Quality and service we received this time was completely night and day. When he picked up the cake, looked at it, told them this is not the cake he ordered... this isn't the design I requested... however the response was "oh someone else made the cake but she's not here." They Did nothing to fix it, or try to rectify the situation. So completely disappointing, literally a waste of money. It looks like a 6 year old made it. read more

WHY did it take me so long to come here after driving by for many years!? Originally we were wanting a cake or cupcake that was vegan and their website offered it however when we got there, we were told that they make vegan treats by early reservation. We were sad but they looked scrumptious so the non-Vegan parties including myself helped ourselves to one. We ordered the oreo, red velvet, churro, carrot cake, chocolate and tres leches and I have to admit we were NOT disappointed. The only warning I have to give you is that once you try this place, you will never like any other cupcake again! No one returned my call. So 2 days before I was to pick up cake I went in to cancel because hostess of party got another cake since no one would discuss colors and decorations at Sugarfoots. The male owner became aggressive and told me he would enjoy my money but he was not giving me a refund I could have store credit. He then flipped me the bird in my face with both hands. He was so aggressive I was concerned for my safety. I've never seen a business owner so unstable in my life. They kept my money for goods not rendered and not created yet. Was looking forward to the oreo cake ordered for a 40th birthday party. Was VERY suprised to have received what I thought looked like a carrot cake, but was referred to as cornbread cake by guests. Firstly, it didn't look anything like the DENIM & DIAMOND themed cake requested, however that could be overlooked. Even the wrong flavor may have been overlooked if the taste was good. What has been unacceptable is the response to their flavor error when brought to their attention. Don't order their "gender reveal" cupcakes. At $3 each you expect them to be filled with colored icing, but they aren't, at least ours weren't. Spent over $40 on 12 cupcakes that were supposed to be filled pink and 10 of them had NO FILLING. Super embarrassing gender reveal for my family and very upsetting as this is my first baby and I was very excited. I don't write reviews without giving the store a chance. We emailed them pictures and heard nothing back. My husband called them to see why and the kid working there put the phone down on the counter as a "hold" for over 20 minute to help other guests. I called and he took my call while my husband was still on "hold". He was super nice but what the heck?! Then he said "they don't open emails anymore" and that the 'baker' would call us back. Super disorganized. If you want something special don't order from here. If you want a cupcake after dinner on your way home - you'll probably be ok and the cupcakes tasted pretty good, even without filling. I'll update if we get a refund but judging by other reviews - that seems unlikely and our first ever gender reveal was ruined which is priceless so all I'm left is this yelp review in the hopes it helps someone else. read more
