I got the Sopapilla Cheesecake Cupcake, cupcake itself is very moist and the frosting/filling is extra cream cheesy. The wedding cake was just the right amount of sweetness, overall very yummy only down side is the cream cheesiness of the frosting in my opinion. Service was friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant was cafe like and homey. read more

Stopped in here for a birthday treat this afternoon. I got the Big Cheese cupcake (pictured) and it is absolutely amazing. I also got a caramel latte and it, too, was delicious. The service was great! The gal behind the counter was very nice and knowledgeable and answered questions that me and my friend had. Prices are decent, with each stuffed cupcake costing just over $5, but the cupcakes are MASSIVE and well worth the price. read more

My husband and I play a dating game with our dates. We plan our dates around an alphabet letter and then surprise each other with our plans. It was my turn to plan and I had the letter "C". We drove to CONROE in the early afternoon for a dinner CRUISE. So I planned a stop for COFFEE at Baby CAKES. The lady inside was really nice and quick to make our oat milk COLD brew COFFEES which were delicious. We were both delighted to see they had a variety of CUPCAKES. Luckily, we both love CARROT CAKE, and this CUPCAKES did not disappoint. It was moist and filled with a CREAMY CENTER. The only complaint we had was there is no bathroom for CUSTOMERS. read more

Why 4 stars? Because they have many types of cupcakes and I want all of them. --- --- --- I've been driving by Babycakes a bit more than usual lately and I continue to say to myself that I need to pop in one day. And it's hard to keep me away from a good cupcake for long, so this fantasy was recently made into a reality. The thing that stands out to me right away is that these cupcakes are a bit larger than you'll find at some other places. I think it's because many (or all?) of them have some sort of cream filling, so they need to be bigger to have the room to house that goodness. We tried three of them and they were all quite tasty. The only wish I would have had is that the salted caramel could have been a bit heavier on the salt. But, it was still enjoyable. The Cookie Monster was also solid, but the Big Cheese was the best: it was some sort of chocolate with cheesecake filling and some other random goodies. After sharing three cupcakes with my wife and son, my blood sugar immediately skyrocketed to borderline unsafe levels, but that's probably more of a referendum on my age than the cupcakes themselves. I miss my younger days when I could basically eat an entire bag of sugar with no repercussions. For me, the best cupcakes in the area still come from Crave, but Babycakes is certainly not a bad option at all. They are markedly better here than from Smallcakes. And I don't think there's a single flavor I wouldn't be interested in trying during future visits. read more

Very much recommend this bakery for a wedding. It's a small bakery that has a drive thru and sit down area inside. We had a smooth process of taste testing, ordering, and delivery. The flavor we ordered was Pina Colada and was absolutely tasty! Very moist and had fresh fruit. Pricing is reasonable. read more

There's one fatal flaw keeping this from being 5 stars in my opinion. I tried 2 different cupcakes here with 2 different verdicts. Was recommended to try this place months ago by some friends. Finally had a chance to check it out while in the area & had some time to burn. I got 3 cupcakes yesterday, the Pumpkin Pie, the Hepburn & the Lisa Marie. I ate the Pumpkin Pie yesterday while saving the Lisa Marie for myself & the Hepburn for my wife today. I thought it was amazing! The cupcake itself was perfectly moist, balanced sweetness and flavorful. The pumpkin pie filling was a nice complement. Good amount of frosting; perhaps slightly too much in the middle but not enough to ruin the experience. Fast forward to today, I had the Lisa Marie. I'll start with the good; the cupcake itself was moist, balanced sweet and good, like the pumpkin pie. However, here's the bad in my opinion: WAY TOO MUCH frosting! When I bought it, I saw that the frosting was stacked high but I thought something was under the frosting, on top of the cupcake; like more cake or filling. But the entire top was ALL frosting. I had to eat through mouthfuls of frosting before I even got to the cupcake; very distasteful to me. I HATE cupcakes that are more frosting than cake, the one fatal flaw of half of their cupcakes. I couldn't even grab it to snap a pic without messing it up for the pic yesterday. I didn't try the Hepburn but my wife said hers had too much frosting too while the cupcake itself was good. If I had the Lisa Marie alone, this would've been a 2 or 3-star review but I consider the Pumpkin Pie an easy 5-Star which balances out to 4 stars. If they learn how to go easy on the frosting, I could easily consider this a 5-star recommendation. read more

LOOK ELSE WHERE AND SAVE YOURSELF TIME Took 15 emails of going back and forth and getting no where to oh "you missed the dead line I needed to know by yesterday", yet had my number and did not make a call had to do it all by email then waiting on a response from this baker put me to looking for a cake in 3 days before my party and took 3 days to respond to my inquiry yet I missed one email and I was too late, when I had been emailing back and forth with them for days on end ~ waste of time and could of used that time looking for a cake elsewhere, due to ruining my kids bday I wont even bother to go there for a coffee much less a cupcake ever again nor will I attempt to do business here again. read more

Best cupcakes I have ever consumed! First had them from Pizza Shack in Willis and was SUPER excited when a storefront was opened. The flavors are always changing so there's something new to try. There's also regulars made for those who found something they loved and stuck with it. The jalapeño sausage kolaches are good too - usually get one as a driving home snack. {it's a nearly 30 min one way drive I happily make} It's especially awesome when you catch a buy two get two free special. And while I LOVE this deal I am glad it's not all the time because we'd probably only eat jumbo stuffed cupcakes in my house. One day I WILL try something else like a cinnamon roll but I love the cupcakes so much getting anything else is just difficult. Last time I was there my son got a pumpkin spice latte which he adored. I got a London Fog tea - OMG - if you like earl grey you will LOVE this presentation. read more

Unfortunately I was let down by my order. I got an caramel macchiato with extra caramel and orange dreamsicle cupcake. First off the macchiato definitely didn't have extra caramel it honestly had no flavor of caramel. But you know coffee is coffee. I was recommended to get the dreamsicle and I was completely let down. It didn't have any orange taste and barely any flavor anywhere. I might have gotten a bad cupcake or something. The London fog however is a delicious tea read more

Very good cupcakes here. Took my kids here and let them pick out four or five flavors to bring home and all of them were solid. Generous size. Sinful. Deliriously decadent. Flawlessly delicious. Take your pick of descriptors because they all apply to these cupcakes. We're new to the area, and to celebrate our home purchase we stopped in to grab a sweet treat. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. We grabbed cake pops for the kids, a blueberry muffin, and the Golden Ticket and Rebel cupcakes. We were blown away by them all. Chocolate cake pops - fudge-like, and a punch of cocoa that would knock Mike Tyson off his feet. Blueberry muffin - perfect, seriously. Rebel - Chocolate, Chocolate, CHOCOLATE. It was light, moist, and not overpoweringly sweet. The Golden Ticket - aptly named, this thing is the best cupcake I've ever had. It's paradise in every bite. The perfect crumb, perfect balance of sweet paired with the natural tartness of the berry filling, and the honey mousse is TO DIE FOR. I wanted more. These cupcakes are topped with an awesome whipped frosting that I'm typically not a fan of. These have absolutely changed my mind. Do yourself a favor and try these cupcakes! read more

The Pizza Shack restaurant serves BabyCakes stuffed cupcakes, and I am so glad that they do. Having a yummy cupcake right after a delicious meal is so satisfying. I've tried their cupcakes for the first time in one week lol (this week). My friend got me the Big Cheese for my birthday and OH MY GOODNESS! It's SO good! It's a chocolate cake with cream frosting. The frosting was just right - so fluffy, buttery and with the right amount of sweetness. The cake was moist and was stuffed right down the middle with yummy cheesecake. Everything was perfect! They are very generous with the frosting too, so you may have a little leftover. Then I had the Wedding Bells which didn't disappoint either. It's an almond cake with cream frosting. Everything was also perfect with this one. It had a Bavarian cream and strawberries stuffed down the middle. I'm so glad I've been introduced to their cupcakes. Now I'm on a hunt to determine where else it's served so I can try everything on their menu! read more

I want to start this off with ... I had no idea about this place and was just calling down list of bakeries because I forgot I was in charge of dessert for my cousins birthday party! They were the only place that had the specifics he wanted and then I got a couple other unique cupcake favors...ALL AMAZING! When I went to pick up I was rushing so had no time for breakfast and was happy to see coffee menu and kolaches!!! Let me start with the kolache that was just a simple sausage/cheese but oh my goodness the ratio of meat to bread was perfect and the bread had a taste of something between homemade rolls and pretzel ... There are no words but my tummy was so HAPPY!! Then I finally took a drink of the coffee... Which I was already excited about because I watched her make and press the espresso and put the homemade whip cream..so I was beyond excited to try! It did not disappoint... PERFECTION...creamy, full body flavor, no bitterness, and no need for sweetener! THIS IS A MUST FOR ANYONE IN THE AREA OR PASSING THROUGH!! read more

Best cupcakes ever. I had the Boston cream. It was sooo good. I will definitely be back

Stopped in this evening to pick up cupcakes for my daughters birthday. Staff was super friendly and described all the cupcakes. I purchased 4 for around 20$ including tip. The cupcakes are beautiful and look great for a special occasion. They don't carry birthday candles...which I suggested they may want to because I would have bought some. I only tried the lemon drop so my review is only regarding that cake. First..a real lemon on a cupcake? That's very odd to me. The icing had no lemon flavor and just tasted like whipped cream. The cake itself was delicious. Very moist and flavorful. Look forward to trying all the flavors. read more

This afternoon we visited The Pizza Shack who proudly serves Babycakes stuffed cupcakes. My hubby ordered the Cookie Monster and I was able to taste it. It was pretty good. He said it was even better than Crave cupcakes in flavor. I had the Hepburn (red velvet). Eating the cupcake without the icing the cupcake was a little dry. Eating it as a whole however, it tasted great. I personally thought there was too much icing for my liking but overall it would definitely be a cupcake I would get again. I would love to visit the Babycakes Bakery and try additional flavors. Keep up the great baking! read more

Stopped by after going to B52 brewery on our hour long drive back to Houston and was not disappointed! We had a vanilla latte and a Cookie Monster cupcake and they were both fantastic. I sometimes debate getting a flavored latte since I'm not a fan of too sugary coffee but this one was just right. The cupcake was also on point, and both my husband and I were in awe of the cookie dough filled center. It was delicious. Even the icing (which I normally discard off cupcakes since it's usually too sweet for me) was so tasty. Would recommend! read more
