Just picked up cookies. Order plenty of time ahead for a custom order. Asked in instructions for all cookies to be half baked and gooey. 2 were completely crunchy and way over cooked. Also asked that extra icing and topping be placed on the ones applicable. As you can see, icing didn't even cover those cookies. I ventured to this location and while I knew the cookies wouldn't be the freshest (I bought a too good to go box), the customer service experience was weird. She wasn't that friendly, didn't answer the phone when I called en route and was picking and choosing cookies to give me in and out the box. It was kind weird; typically that's already decided before you get there. Like would you have served these cookies to someone full price. Idk just stating. I came here once a long time ago and was floored by the amazing cookies! But I have not been back because it's a 40 min drive for me. I saw the advertised pumpkin snickerdoodle on instagram and had to have that. That was worth the drive. I came today and the said they did not have them because they could not find the recipe for it or something. I was extremely disappointed in that. It's important that staff has the right resources. Hopefully they get the cookie they are advertising I just don't know when I'll be able to make it back again. I placed an order to be shipped from Texas to Florida! I ordered the "Ship" it "Custom Keto Box" of cookies a Dozen for $62.99 plus shipping! They offer new cookies of the week for what I call classic style cookies ( made with real sugar etc ) That all sounds heavenly. They have some classics that stay and they offer a few "keto", Gluten free, Paleo options that stay the same. They also offer cookie cakes! My "keto" cookies that I ordered were "peanut butter supreme" , chocolate chip cookie, and crème brûlée, all Keto! They shipped promptly in a nice box. Slightly squished and some crumbled a bit. I'm not sure if too much could be done about this as it was packed pretty well maybe a bit too tight. The cookies are a fairly good size and there are instructions to heat in the oven before serving. I heated the crème brûlée right away. Now I do sometimes bake my own Keto cookies and often purchase locally but I've heard a lot of wonderful things about Half Baked Goodness! So I needed to try! I'd say that the keto version to me is indeed good perhaps slightly dry but still tasty I'm not sure if I'd pay the delivery fee again considering that they weren't more impressive than other keto cookies I've eaten and how they arrived. I ordered the Texas Sheetcake, Chocolate Chip Walnut and the Keto Snickerdoodle! I broke a piece off of the snickerdoodle and almost melted in place! The ooey gooey deliciousness of cinnamon just melts in your mouth! The girl at the counter (my bad for not getting her name), was awesome! She told me about the two different types of keto cookies and what all they have. She was super helpful! She even gave me a sample of the keto double chocolate chip cookie! I'm hooked!!! We buy 4 cookies a week to share and have with afternoon coffee. Atmosphere was a little blah staff wasn't really helpful and also not very friendly. They did not display their cookies in a way that would make their cookies look appealing. I don't light comparing, one cookie place to another but since half baked wants to be somewhat like Crumbles, I feel I need to. At first glance, their cookies don't look very appetizing. The presentation is sad I bought a box of four, just like I do at crumbles. The taste of the cookies were OK the cookies look over cooked as you can tell in the picture, but the centers were still gooey and the cookies felt very heavy and overly sweet there's no consistency on the size. I walked in and was looked at by the staff with no cordial welcome as I looked at the menu. I bought 2 cookies: Chocolate Chocolate Chip, the outside was crunchy but the inside was almost soggy, and Creme Brûlée, the whole thing was absolutely amazing!!! That's the only reason I'm giving some stars. I would go to a Crumbl Cookies instead. We were so excited about this new cookie place opening nearer to home since we like Crumbl so much, but it's farther. Unfortunately, the premium price does NOT guarantee premium cookies here. My chocolate chip cookie was literally running liquid/raw throughout the entire middle. My two oatmeal raisin cookies were noticeably two different sizes, and with somewhat burnt raisins just stuck all over the top surface of each. The chocolate peanut butter chip cookie was more chips than cookie. Just enough cookie dough to hold together a huge wad of chips.
