Loved Calibombnia!! First off, the owners are a wonderful Christian family who truly care about their customers and community -- you can feel the love and integrity they put into their business! They have a huge menu, and I was so glad they had plenty of keto-friendly options, too. The portions are HUGE -- I had plenty to take home! Favorite was definitely the Keto Calibomb burger -- flavorful and filling. Highly recommended!!! Can't wait to come back.

Nothing to write about the ambiance as this establishment is located in a gas station. The service was patient and friendly. The food is the highlight here. The menu has a lot of options, so I settled on a BLT with fries for lunch. To my surprise, it was awesome and well proportioned. I will be back for other items on the menu.

Being from New Orleans, I really like eating establishments located inside of gas stations. You even have places to sit inside the gas station and eat. I am giving this place 5 stars based on location and the amazing variety of food. They have an entire menu dedicated to the keto lifestyle. That keto menu is what drew me to the place. Granted after arriving, I wanted to try the huge variety of flaming hot cheetos menu items, but that's definitely not keto! They even tempted me with an entire side of the menu dedicated to buffalo style...I like it here... They mastered the cheese shell for the burrito and quesadilla. The burrito has lots of goodies...but I need to research if tomatoes are keto friendly. Anywho...I ate it all! All in all, this is a place to visit ESPECIALLY if you want someone else to fix you a keto meal. I'll be back to try several of the non keto dishes.

You know how when you take a bite out of a burger, and all the toppings slide out? Yeah, it's the same here. They double wrap their burgers in a white paper like In and Out, then wrap it in yellow paper. I thought I was ordering for delivery on Yelp but had issues changing it from pickup to delivery. I ended up having to pick up my order during afternoon rush hour. It took me 20 minutes to get there. My food was still warm! Calibombnia is located inside a Valero gas station. Seems like this keeps the gas station open for business. I'd love to see Calibombnia in a freestanding space with seating. I think it would do quite well. I ordered the Cali burger, which had bacon and avocado. Can't go wrong there! The bread had flavor, although the meat patty was pretty thin. I think it's the special sauce that makes it tasty. The fries were flavorful. I love the seasoning they use. Some fries can be a bit salty. The burger is huge, and the fries are plentiful. If you order through Yelp, there's only a selection for fries and a drink combo. It's nice to know, they give you a bottled drink. More soda sans the ice and styrofoam cup. I'd order from here again! Check them out! They'd be great for BOTM. :)

Solid four stars. First off I am from Texas so I could care less about a "Cali burger" lol. If avocado is what makes it Cali well hey I guess. That's very not so original haha. Sorry I just bleed Texas. I like Cali too. My sister lives in sand Diego and I've been there several times. Nothing against my Cali peeps. Back to the food. The nachos with Doritos and hot Cheetos was a big mix off all kinds of good flavor. I would definitely go back and try more things off the menu. Also for 10.00 this definitely could feed two large adults or 3-4 kids. Huge and really good. The mixture of everything was really good but the beef they used was not the greater. It felt like they really went cheap here. Also they lost it as asada (fajita). These are not the same! This is carne asada. Fajita is skirt. This is not skirt! Fix the menu. Also I would really consider using a better cut of a beef. I will go back for sure. If you are in the area give them a shot.

Although you wouldn't expect it, this place is legit. If Yelp had a classification for best Keto and most Keto options, this place would be listed at the top. Make no mistake, it's not just the keto that is good. I've worked my way through their menu. I've had their burgers - they are solid. I've had nachos - again - great. I've also had come concoctions with flaming Cheetohs -- it's all great. For those looking at a lower carb path - there keto options also taste great. I've tried their keto burger, BLT, quesadillas, breakfast tacos, sliders, chips and guac -- it is all great. This is a family-run restaurant. So if you're not into chains -check, check, and check - this place has it all. If you're in the Kuykendahl / Cypresswood area, pull into the gas station, go in to the back right corner and order some savory delectables!!!!

I've been eyeing this place on yelp for a while and finally came by yesterday with my husband, yum Eeeee. There's sooo much on their menu it was hard to decide from the asada burrito or calibomb, I went with the calobomb because I really wanted those fries and sour cream in there lol plus I added rice. My husband got the flamin asada burrito which was perfect so i could try that one now hahah,When we finally got home and I took a bite of the burrito, wow! It wasn't really the flavor I was expecting, it was more and better. I didn't even get to try my husbands asada burrito because we finished our food before we even noticed :') The only thing I would say is i'm a really big texture person and some of the beef fajita was chewy, but other than that I think the rice I added was the perfect addition to the burrito! Truly excellent. I'm excited to come back and try more of the food, especially those yummy looking burgers!!

I didn't research well enough in looking at the location so I didn't know this place is in the Valero gas station on Kuykendahl and Cypress Hill. And that's no dig, this is what I call a Hidden Gem! Wait for it Ketoers. I got a wet keto chicken burrito and the keto beef burrito for comparison. Flavor throughout in both without a lot of salt. The wet burrito is spicy so if you're not used to a kick get ready. The chicken was juicy and tender. The chicken was seasoned very well, that sauce is divine, and the keto tortilla did not disappoint. The beef was equally well seasoned sans tons of salt and the keto tortilla on non-wet burrito has the perfect crispiness. And these burritos are not soaking in grease and I felt like I ate clean. Just half a burrito should do you good (I ate more than half and I'm stuffed) because did I mention the burritos are huge?!! I was starving and forgot to take before pics. I will definitely be back! Don't pass on this one! read more

OK so here's the thing. One of my friends and I have ordered from here twice for delivery. Twice he has ordered something keto, and I have ordered something else. Once a sandwich, once a burger. Both times, my friend exclaimed that this is some of the best keto food he has ever had. Both times, I didn't even eat half my food and threw the rest right in the trash. I'm so confused. I sat here and stared at yelp for about 10 minutes really struggling to figure out how to write this review, and finally landed on this: I am giving it 2 stars for the two meals I tossed and I will mention more than once that my friend says this is the best keto food he has ever had to help balance out what I thought. Now, let me tell you why this is two stars for me. First off, it does not taste fresh. I don't understand all the people who wrote that this was one of the best burgers they have ever had. It was dry, tasted frozen, and the bun was stale. This is Houston, there are way better burgers to be had. To be fair, let me say that reading through the reviews, trying to figure out what I missed, I found one reviewer who said that he loves whataburger, and this is the only other place in Houston that has good hamburgers like whataburger. Ahh...got it. I could cut and paste my description of their burgers onto a review for whataburger. The buns have the same off taste, the meat was just as dry, the buns were just as stale. Now, I know some people LOVE whataburger, so you may love this place too. I do not share your love of whataburger. Now, the fries? Super soggy. Super. Like they came out of the grease way too soon and then got steamed. Looking at the pictures, I don't even recognize what I received and what other people had. Perhaps I could have baked them to crisp them up, but I was already working out what to do for dinner instead of trying to make this work. Long story short: If you are looking for Keto, then you may want to check this place out. If you like whataburger, you may want to check this place out. Perhaps if you didn't get delivery, you may want to check this place out. But if those things aren't your style, then not sure you will enjoy what they have to offer. read more

When I pulled up and realized that this Burger joint that had 5 stars was in a gas station, I was skeptical. I was really glad I gave it a try. They have a good variety of burgers. They are large and came out quickly. A small seating area is located inside if you want to eat in or you can get it to go. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had. read more

The BEST Five Star Mexican food in Houston!!! The layering of flavor combined with fresh ingredients and traditional fare makes for authentically delicious food. The people who work here are also very friendly and welcoming. The owners deserve a brick and mortar restaurant- could even be high end dining, their food is so good!!! The food is amazing!!! The burgers are good but the sauce in the burger is what makes it way above average. Topping that is the fries, they're tick and soft the texture is perfect with the dipping thousand island sauce. Service is also awesome they seemed pretty busy and the food came out fast they even brought it out to us. I'll be back to try the burrito next!! read more

They need their own restaurant. Buffalo chicken sandwiches are a must. Chili cheese fries and buffalo chicken fries are soo good! This place reminds me of home (LA) with the charbroiled burgers and their special house sauce 1000 island. Fries are thick and just soo good! Def recommend Ive had burritos, burgers, chicken strip dinners, chili cheese dog recommend this with no mustard not sure why it was added as it takes away from the good chili cheese sauce they put on there. Stumbled upon this place on Uber Eats and at first was skeptical. After taking the initial dive on their menu I was very suppressed at the diversity of options and that the prices were all pretty low compared to other "burger joints". Having now ordered from here a handful of times and each time having never been disappointed at the preparation, looks, or taste. Goodness Gracious ....... I am stunned to say these are the most delicious burgers I've ever had.... don't let the fact that this burger joint is located inside a gas station fool you!!!!! They are a full blown restaurant that has superbly delicious food.... I had to come back to continue trying their menu over and over! I've had the breakfast burrito and it was to die for with some of their home made salsa. I've also had the Torta, the breakfast sandwich and all have been so delicious and fresh. The chef and his lovely Wife are very kind people, they're quick too.... you come in, order and in min the food is out, fresh and made with a lot of love. I'm so happy to be able to support this small family business and enjoy their Cali famous burgers. This is a must try! Omg!!!!! And don't forget the KETO menu, it's insane!!!!! What can I say ! I'm from Texas but lived in California for a few years . When I came back it was hard to find an authentic Cali burrito, other places always had their own twist . Please don't sleep on these people because their in a gas station IT IS NOT GAS STATION FOOD! The food is cooked fresh and taste great . So I ended up getting the fajita steak and egg combo with avocado and pico. Food choice and designation to keto is amazing! However the taste was very bland. Would suggest to use salt and pepper or seasoned salsa on these type of dishes to bring out flavor of the meats and proteins. It's already enough that we're sacrificing bad eating habits and giving up our carbs. At least give us something that's flavorful and healthy. (That way I actually enjoy eating it) Other than that the presentation was wonderful eggs over easy were cooked to perfection. read more

Wow...What if a great Philly cheesesteak was crossed with the flare of jalapeños? You'd have a Calibombnia Philly Cheesesteak, which would have all the taste of a Philly Cheesesteak with the heat, spice & favor that only jalapeños can give!! Joas, everybody knows you have the best burgers in town, and now the best cheesesteak sandwich too!!! But that's not all, what great service and a customer service heart to serve you. Wish there were more locations...well I just found out today they have 2 locations now and will continue to grow!! Try them out, I have them 5 stars because there's not 10 stars!!! Don't let this place fool you because it's in a gas station. The portions are generous, food is good and orders are out pretty quickly. No complaints here! This is one of our regular spots to order from for a quick meal. Especially when I don't feel like cooking. The taco salad is my favorite. Haven't tried the breakfast yet but that's on the to do list. read more

We tried this place for lunch today and I was disappointed. I will say that we ordered takeout and maybe that's why the fries were soggy, but they could have used salt or seasoning since they were very bland. The Cali burger and chili cheese hot dog had good flavors though. We may go back to try the burritos next time instead. read more

Been looking for a California style Burger and BAM!!! Found this place nearby. The owners are from CA so you know it's gonna be CA style. My wife had the Cali Burger and she loved it!!!! The "Go To" spot for California Style Burgers!!!! Gonna bring my Texas friends here to give them a taste of REAL California burgers. Waayyy better than Whataburger, not even in the same league. They are now located inside the Valero, NOT the Chevron. read more

Hands down one of the Best Burger Joints I've been to in Years! The food is BOMB! You won't find anywhere else their Chili Cheese Fries, add Pastrami and Carne Asada to Finalize the BOMBNESS!!! Really tasty burger! Cooked to order. Love the sauce on the cheeseburger. The fries were piping hot and delish! Hubby got a Cali burrito. He said it was good but didn't know that it would have fries inside the burrito. Way too many fries, but it's our fault for not clarifying what was in the burrito. All in all, it was a good experience. Nice, clean kitchen area despite its location inside a gas station. We'll be back for breakfast! read more

This is one...good...burger. I've been going here for the past 6 months or so. Quality is on point. Bacon strips are thick and fresh. Fries are always hot. It's a great place. The owner is an amazing person as well. She feeds the first responders for free. They fed many officers and firefighters during Harvey for free. Just incredible people. Today we went and they had run out of buns. She told me their supplier has not shown up for a few days. So, she substituted Texas Toast for the bun. WOW!! I told her I wanted it like that everytime. Had the bun man showed up, I never would have known how good the Texas Toast was! Trust me, you'll enjoy it. read more

If fries were unavailable, that should have been communicated before making the substitution!! Customers should at least be given the courtesy of deciding if they want something different instead of just finding out after they get home. What makes this even more frustrating is that this could have been avoided with simple communication and basic customer service. Today's experience was not just disappointing...it was extremely frustrating and honestly left us really bothered. It had a generous amount of avocado too, which was a nice touch. They brought out complimentary chicharrones (the vegan kind). It looks like they expanded their restaurant, but one of the employees told us that they're planning on downsizing. It's a shame, because this is a solid place for Mexican. I hope more people give it a shot.

Been coming to this spot for some time now. Always spot on and filling. A wide variety of dish options including keto. Step in and enjoy. Fast and friendly service. Every time I walk up to the counter I am greeted by the owner/cook. Great guy! Great team. Got to try the breakfast nachos. That's what I call them. Beef fajita nachos with fried eggs on top.
