Birria Taco

Good food, fast service. Next to a gas station but there's a place to sit. There are many different food options as well like pizza and hamburgers

I always enjoy a good taco truck and this one did not disappoint! The birria tacos were yummy, and the broth to dip the tacos in was also full of flavor. The tacos alone were definitely worth the wait. The staff was kind and made sure we were okay while we waited for our food. I like the fact that the agua frescas were in bottles and easy to grab, but I wish they had different size options as they are a bit pricy compared to other agua frescas for this one size. Nonetheless, they are still fresh, convenient, and enjoyable.

Listen to me! TEN OUT OF TEN OUT OF TEN. Surprised I'm barely reviewing this spot as many times as I've had it via UberEats. I usually get the Birria tacos but I got the Quesabirria this time and it was bomb. Always fresh and hot. I went in person once and they're friendly people. My go to birria spot and I recommend them to anyone who will listen.

Birria Ramen! Mexi-Asian fusion in a cup. Freakin' good.

Holy mother of tacos, this place is FIRE!!! I've tried several of their menu items, and I have never been disappointed! The value is there for the flavor-packed food and hearty portions. The street tacos are my go-to, but the pizza (topped with any meats of your choice) and the birria ramen were INSANE - in the most delicious way. El Norteno reigns supreme for Mexican street food style fast food on the Northside.

I've been hearing about this place for months. I knew it was in my backyard but never had the chance to try it until one Friday night. They're parked in the Ignite Gas Station (Spring Cypress & Kuykendahl) which is honestly a small lot for them giving the crowd they attract. Pulled up around 9:30 pm on a Friday night and the lot was packed with people waiting in line for this food truck. Best friend and I shared the quesabirria and had two Birria tacos.... FIRE? Do you hear me!??? It's like I fell in love that love with food and was. Ot ready to end the relationship after finishing our meal The line moved pretty quickly for how long it was. They have a small outside eating area (where we sat) and then they have an inside area attached to the convenience store of the gas station. Definitely worth the wait. I will be a loyal customer from now on.

They dont offer free drinks even on yelp is saying that i can get a free drink from them.

La Cocina Taco House - Picadillo w/ beans

La Cocina Taco House

Why 5 stars? Because the breakfast tacos were all that I hoped they would be…read more --- --- --- When a place has 4.9 stars, it's basically impossible that it's gonna be bad. I'd wanted to try La Cocina for a while for that reason and those plans finally came to fruition. You walk up to a counter that has all the ingredients for taco making right in front of you. The guy asks you how many you are going to want, and if you want flour or corn, so he can let them know in the back to make your tortillas fresh. About 2 minutes later, out came our tortillas. I ordered 3: one with eggs and bacon, one with some kind of egg and sausage combo and one non-breakfast taco with fajita meat. The fajita taco was just okay, but the breakfast tacos had me thinking about them for hours after the fact. They aren't very big, so if you're a growing boy like me, I'd aim for 4-5 of them. The guy behind the counter tried to guide us into his suggestion of 2 each, but I jumped in and said make it 3 for me. If I could go back in time, I would have done 4 and made them all the breakfast variety. Both breakfast tacos were straight bangers from another dimension. All the sauces were great and none were too spicy. I might have to return to this place sooner rather than later because I really did think about it the rest of the day. I love you, La Cocina.

Fruiteria, I now understand this is a vegetable market.. everything you would need for Mexican dishes, fresh and ready for adding to your meals along with a refrigerated area with milk, eggs, beer(!) and most anything you can imagine... Carniceria means a fresh meat market, meat preseasoned and ready for the grill and steaks that are not.. all looking ready to go... And taqueria, a kitchen or grill serving in house soups and meals.. making some of the best home made plates around. Needless to say, this was a first time visit... I did not know what to expect but thanks to a referral, I'm glad I did!! I forgot about the dessert too!.. And, the staff are very friendly and helpful offering free taste samples of all the weekend specials... (Which filled me up!) Wow! Bottom line , this is my new favorite for menudo... awesome flavor, contents are spot on great (with onion.. a first!), and the barbacoa was awesome!! We ordered to go and for the first time, we couldn't eat it all.. we have leftovers!! Las Tarascas will be a prime resource for great food and all my immediate grocery needs... Worth a visit for sure!! Just my opinion.

Between the family, we tried the barbacoa, chicharron, chicken fajita, and a fajita quesadilla. The fresh homemade tortillas really make a difference in every bite. I'd read reviews mentioning they were huge, but honestly, I didn't find them particularly oversized. Not a complaint at all, just not what I expected going in! My daughter loved her quesadilla and especially the cheese pull, which passed her personal "cheese test" with flying colors. The chicharron in salsa verde was a standout for me, perfectly seasoned, with no need for extra salt or salsa. Personally, I'd ask for the onion to be chopped just a bit smaller but that really is the only "complaint" I have. I also ordered the charro beans based on earlier reviews, and they were every bit as flavorful as promised. I'm already looking forward to trying their fresh-squeezed orange juice on our next visit. The staff was wonderfully welcoming from start to finish, and my husband, who went in with low expectations, was blown away by how delicious everything was. We're both so glad we gave this place a try. If you're looking for comforting, well-seasoned food in a warm, inviting setting, Nando's Tacos is absolutely worth the visit.

Serving tacos in the Humble TX area since 2022, Nando's Tacos (not to be confused with the chicken…read morerestaurant) serves up delicious full size tacos. My brother and I stopped in for carryout breakfast tacos on a Sunday morning. Alas, they didn't have brisket breakfast tacos, but had some good alternatives. Their flour tortilla is the choice here, and I believe it is Sonoran style: good enough to just eat by itself. My absolute favorite was the barbacoa ($3.25), very tender stewed beef with added onion and cilantro...not meant to be a breakfast taco I think. The other 3 tacos I tried did have egg. The potato & egg ($3.25) had big chunks of potato and plenty of egg: very filling not particularly tasty. The chorizo and egg ($3.25) was was prepared together, with the small chorizo pieces mixed in with the egg. And the fajita and egg ($4.79) used two slices of skirt steak flavored with fajita flavoring...for my preference, works better in skillet fajitas than in a breakfast taco. They also have menudo on the weekends, and both their corn and flour tortillas are homemade. As mentioned before, the flour tortillas are really good, and the barbacoa is definitely worth a visit.
