We hired Caliber Roofing and Solar Services on behalf of our HOA on September 6, 2024, to recoat 35 townhomes. Per the written contract, we paid a 50% deposit up front and were told the work would begin within 3 weeks. That never happened. Over the next two months, the owner -- Jacob Floyd Garrison -- repeatedly gave excuses for the delay: a broken-down truck, crew availability issues, a foreman on vacation, and more. Eventually, he admitted something far more serious -- that he had spent our deposit, which was intended for materials, on personal expenses, and no longer had the funds to do the job as agreed. Instead of issuing a refund, Mr. Garrison proposed making weekly payments to repay us. We agreed, hoping he would follow through. He did make three small payments, but then the excuses started again -- including repeated claims that "the check got lost in the mail" -- even though we had provided Zelle information and offered to pick up payments directly. After that, both Jacob and his wife, Lindsey Garrison, completely stopped communicating. It is now June 2025, and the matter is still unresolved. They still owe a large amount of money to us, and we have been forced to file a lawsuit against both the company and Mr. Garrison personally. The Arizona Better Business Bureau has also confirmed receiving other recent complaints, suggesting this is not an isolated incident. We are sharing our experience to help others avoid a similar situation. Based on how this has played out, we strongly advise staying far away from this company and from Jacob and Lindsey Garrison. read more

Repaired and replaced some broken tiles and cracked mortar joints, also exhaust vents that could potentially leak. Good service for the price. Safety standards were lacking as my neighbor reported guys working in flip flops. They also didn't take care cleaning up and left roofing nails where someone could have run over them. read more

Tried to get them to honor their 10 year warranty service on my roof they replaced only 4 years ago and was told they are out of business!

Caliber Roofing did an awesome job! We needed a full tear-off and replacement for our flat roof home. I did a LOT of research and gathered 10 estimates. Rich was on time for the estimate, and was able to give us a price for roof replacement, gutters and even some electrical work to add ceiling fan outlets. The job was scheduled within a reasonable timeframe. The project manager, Chris, came out beforehand and did some final measurements, lead paint testing, etc. The job started on Monday. The crew was here at 9:00 sharp. They removed the existing roof, replaced it, applied the foam and the first layer of elastomeric coating in one day. The job superintendent, Tanner, was here for much of the day. Rich and Chris also came by to check on the work. The crew finished with a clean-up job that was perfect. They returned on Tuesday to place the second layer of coating on the roof. Our house is small, so I was amazed at the level of involvement by everyone at Caliber Roofing! Every detail was perfectly attended to. We couldn't be happier with the care and service that we received. Everyone was extremely professional and explained everything throughout the entire process. Five stars isn't enough, and I'm very discerning with my reviews. Our roof was damaged in a summer monsoon. I reached out to a few roofing companies and Rich came out right away and did a thorough evaluation of our roof, recommending we replace half of it and following up promptly with a fair and detailed estimate. After our homeowners insurance also evaluated the damage, we were able to replace the whole roof under the claim. So the team came out and worked quickly. It took about 4 days. Unfortunately another monsoon storm came after the first day of roof work so we sustained some water damage to the interior walls. The team finished the roof up and they followed up promptly to inspect the water stains, brought someone out to repair everything, and covered the cost. When they quality checked the roof, a few spots required fixing and the team came back and took care of it. Definitely appreciated Rich's attention to detail and communication. The office staff are nice too. The project manager we were assigned was just okay (not quite as easy to connect with and not as communicative as we expected during the project). Even with the hiccups, the company definitely made things right in the end. They were reliable, trustworthy and did good quality work for us. Our neighborhood went together as a group and formed a procurement bid committee to assemble spec's and review roofing companies that they felt met and exceeded the work standard, pricing standards and overall customer satisfaction CALIBER ROOFING SERVICES WAS THEIR VENDOR OF CHOICE. Previously before they did their work I had done my homework about a year before i.e late 2019 before Covid hit. Well, I have Caliber come out once for a project estimate and then compared for detail, thoroughness and professionalism. They were prompt and on time and very responsive to my requests. They also gave me the pricing for the neighborhood specifications along with recommendations for upgrades if I wanted to go beyond the TIGHT SPECIFICATIONS from the Neighborhood Committee. Contacted them October 17 for a quote, responded back on October 18 saying they would contact me in 24 hours. October 20 messaged again saying no one had contacted me. They apologized and said someone would contact me that morning. Finally contacted me this afternoon,October 25, asking if I needed service. I told them no because I went with someone else. It shouldn't take a week to contact someone for a quote if you care about business. Apparently they don't. I'm most upset that they couldn't contact me at least to say they were busy or give me some excuse. Would never use. read more

Bad experience with caliber roofing. They were hired by my General Contractor and after their first visit I had flashings sticking up and additional broken tiles on my roof. They came out a second time to fix their first mistakes and left me with even more issues. After the second mess up my GC cut ties with them on my project. We had a few hiccups along the way which included some inferior product which was concerning at the time. Jake ordered new product at his cost to make sure we were satisfied. He also painted our new ceiling free of charge. We will use him again for any other roofing projects that we have.
