    MGR Property Management, formerly known as Whitestar Management, is by far the worst property…read moremanagement company I have ever dealt with. As a homeowner, I pay hundreds of dollars each month for their "management" and HOA services, yet I receive little to no support. I live a quiet life and simply expect my front yard to be maintained, as covered by the HOA fees. However, every time I submit a landscaping request, it gets ignored, closed without resolution, or met with vague responses that offer no real assistance. For example, the front of my home has had dead plants for nearly a year. (12 months) The landscapers removed them but never replaced them, leaving empty holes in my yard. The irrigation system is also faulty--some nozzles don't work, others barely drip water, and some are completely blocked by rocks. Despite multiple requests, nothing has been done. I have never missed or been late on an HOA payment, yet my simple requests for basic maintenance go unanswered. In the four years I have owned this home, the community has gone through at least five different property managers, which speaks volumes about the turnover and lack of consistency. I strongly advise against working with this company! Save your money and choose a management company that actually supports its homeowners and takes their concerns seriously. _______________________________________________________________________________ I have already communicated with the Director multiple times via email and phone, as well as with several individuals from the company, including the community manager and assistant community manager. Unfortunately, no resolution, assistance, or support has been provided. The only request I am making is for the missing plants in front of my home to be replaced, as outlined in the bylaws and CCRs (Exhibit C, Section 1.7), which state that the Association is responsible for maintaining front yards, including landscaping. My request has always been simple and remains the same. I am readily available by phone or email, yet no one has made an effort to provide homeowner support or reach out to resolve this matter.

    One of the most frustrating experiences working with a property manager I have ever had...We needed…read moreto move immediately due to maintenance emergencies at our old unit. We appreciated that the company set up a quick tour for us because we were in need of a quick move. Anita was very helpful during this time. She told us that there were no applicants and if we applied that day, we would be considered. We looked at Yelp reviews prior and were eager to work with Simon (property manager on listing) because of all the great reviews. Simon was EXTREMELY unprofessional in communications after the tour. He did not answer the phone and was extremely hard to reach. It was clear that we were neither important to him nor desirable candidates, despite performing above and beyond all listed application criteria. Our credit was never run, despite Simon telling us it would be, and we were strung along for over a week with minimal communication. We asked for an explanation for the denial after being told that they went with someone else, and we were not provided with one. Unsurprisingly, we did not even receive a response. To top it all off, the property was re-listed on Zillow a few days later... At this point it was clear that there was no other candidate and we had been lied to the whole time. Unless you know the owner or property manager personally, don't expect a call back. Please try not to waste your time, especially if the move is urgent.

Overall, it has been a great experience, and I would highly recommend TSM to anyone looking for a well-managed and supportive property management.
